From Sirius's point of view
Disappearing act
Sirius combed the streets.
‘How do you loose a girl that brightly coloured?’ questioned Remus.
‘I don’t know! One moment she was there, next, poof! It like she had learned how to Disapparate!’ Sirius said.
They looked everywhere, for a girl who had rainbow dreadlocks, wore a denim dress and a rainbow jacket, rainbow tights and black boots.
‘Scarlett, please come back!’ Sirius cried.
Remus thought, and then slapped his forehead.
‘The one shop we haven’t checked, the one she’s most likely to be in!’ he said.
‘Which one?’ asked Sirius.
‘Zonko’s!’
They headed over and found her engrossed in a big box of no-heat, no-mess fireworks.
‘Scarlett!” Sirius exclaimed.
She looked up as Sirius gave her a huge hug.
‘Hey hey!’ she said.
‘Where have you been?’ he whispered.
‘In here.’ Said the 3-year-old girl, her arms wrapped round Sirius’s neck.
‘Where else would she be?’ asked Remus, hugging Scarlett as well.
Sirius noted Fred and George hiding in the corner, most likely trying to hide that they had lead her away in here. Sirius grinned. He knew the twins held a soft spot for Scarlett.
It then struck him.
Why hadn’t they looked here in the first place?
