Post Deathly Hallows: Part I, Helena Bonham Carter nominated for 2011 Academy Awards

Nominations for the 83rd annual Academy Awards have been announced this morning, where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I was recognised in the Art Direction and achievement in visual effects categories. Additionally, Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter films), received an Actress in a Supporting Role nomination for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth in The King's Speech. Alexandre Desplat, who composed the scores for the final two Deathly Hallows films, got a nomination for The King's Speech original motion picture score.
