Hey everyone, sorry I havnt been able to post recently, and this is only a short post but I assure you there will be more tomorrow!
Enjoy.

Ellouise just sat there in silence. She knew he cared about her, they had always been close, even as children. Xavier had always been like an older brother to her, there were times when he had picked on her, scared her, chased her with bugs, called her names, pushed her over. But there were also times when he protected her, helped her up when she was knocked down, squished spiders when they came too near, and defended her when others teased her- because only he was allowed to do that. Now there they were, sitting in her bedroom, side by side resting their backs against the bed-head.
“I want to go home”, she said suddenly. Home had once been Godric’s Hollow, a small community where witches and wizards lived in secret amongst muggle folk. It had been years since she had been there. It was the worst hit area when the war broke out the night Lord Voldemort returned. It was absolute chaos, even the muggles in the community perished under the assault. Death eaters had stormed through the community, raiding every existing structure. Even through all the chaos, Ellouise and her parents had managed to escape, they took nothing but their wands and ran, for at the time there wasn’t much more that could have been done. It would have been suicidal to stand and fight.
“Then home it is”, said Xavier. “You should get some sleep, you look tired. We’ll go after breakfast... if you’re ready of course”, he added, giving her a kiss on the forehead before he got up. He placed the almost empty packet of Bertie Botts on the bedside table and left the room, pausing to say goodnight before he closed the door. Ellouise lay back down, her eye lids already struggling to stay open with the need to sleep, the clock on the bedside table read 3:07am. Where had all the time gone?
Ellouise didn’t think about it for too long because she was already drifting off to sleep. She had a plan, it wasn’t much of a plan, but it was a start and a start was all that mattered. Whether or not they would find anything was another matter, and it was one she would explore tomorrow.
