Victory

Playing Quidditch violently on a broom,
You spot the coming doom.
Angry clouds line the sky.
Threatening to end my amazing fly.

Hurry we must rush.
Rain will surely gush.
Soon we must win.
For the end has come to my tail fin.

Soaking wet you shout to me.
How much you want tea?
“No! We won!” you happily call,
And I begin my slow fall.

Gathered on the ground,
Players settle all around.
We won the game.
Now Slytherin has the fame.

Smiling I dismount.
You start to whoop in joy,
Too many times to count.
You sound like a little boy.

Now all Slytherins cheer,
Watching Gryffindor slink away.
Passing houses jeer,
But nothing can soil this wondrous day.
