((This is my first time ever writing a poem, so if it stinks dont get mad at me. I posted this one on the Slythren Common Room boards-but I want everyone to be able to see it))
Slythren Pride
Slythren, greatest of the Hogwarts four
Consist of those who are rich
And not of those who are poor
Students with blood that is pure
For the rough road ahead of them
Only a pureblood could endure
Slythrens are not afraid of Gryffendors
Let the mighty lions roar
They do not intimidate
The crafty, cunning, devious snake
For in the end, they all shall see
How powerful a Slythren can be
Slythren shall rule them all
And the rest shall take the fall
Live it up, Don’t let it die
Carry on...

Withouth winning the fight
We make Hufflepuffs run away in fright
We knock um dead

these are pretty good in your first one though I found you using the same words a lot a thesoraus will help that! Keep up the good work though | |

Sometimes I use the same words purposely-But I mean that was the first poem I ever wrote. :ermsmile: Well I thought that it was really greate! I made another one -that I made about my brother! If its kinda weird its because all of it is true! -hes really scared of these things!
((ps I use thesoaruses))
My Brother is a Sissy
My Brother is a sissy
He's scared of everything
He yells and screams and crys
At the sight of the tinyest things
A spider will send him up the wall
A lizard will make him puke
A mouse will make faint and fall
Is there anything this boy wont do?
Pictures of bears make him horrified
Cows,goats,and pigs will make him feel
As if hes about to die
A fox will make him yelp
Why hes even afraid of
Otters sitting on their beds of kelp
He runs away in terror
At the sign of fish when hes 'bout to swim
And all of this makes me wonder
Why am I afraid of him? | |

Stronger
We like to kick the weaker ones around
Pick um up, put um down
We arnt afraid to put up a fight
We rule the day
But prefear the night
Spoiled rotton to the core
We like to see blood and gore
We arnt afraid of Gryffendors
Ravenclaws, what a bore
Huffelpuffs are weak, anything but strong
They cirtenly wont last long
As for Slythren, that fits our taste
We know being in Slythren isnt a waist
Just watch and you'll see
Exzactly how storng a Slythen can be
