 Hello! I'm Rose! Welcome to my poetry thread!
I only accept consrtuctive criticism! Whatever helps me become a better writer!
Sometimes I write short stories in the form of poems. Yes, that was random. Oh, and if there is a certain character or situation written about, go ahead and request!
Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy reading my poems as much as I enjoy writing them.
This is a Luna Lovegood one:
True 'Claw
Ravenclaw; She must be smart.
Blue eyes that are dreamier than art.
Her sweet laugh is the last to die.
She's out spoken; she's not shy.

A Thousand Years
I have lived through the pain.

I have lived a thousand years.
Books line my office walls.
Clocks tell the time.
I rest my head on my desk.
I try to find my piece of mind.
The clock strikes twelve.
Fawkes cocks her head.
I rise from my chair.
And look ahead.
I begin to pace,
Fearing my worst fear.
There’s no time left.
The day is here.
I have lived through the pain.
I have lived through the tears.
I have lived through the losses.
I have lived a thousand years.
The human-like figure enters.
And I stop pacing.
He smirks at me.
My heart is racing.
I raise my wand.
He does the same.
It’s either live or die.
This isn’t a game.
No words are exchanged.
Only one quick glance.
One curse and it’ll be over.
This is my last chance.
I have lived through the pain.

I saw your blonde hair from across the room.
I was standing in a corner holding my broom.
You were sitting in chair flipping through your precious magazine.
I thought you looked more beautiful than any queen.
The deepness of your eyes made me want to talk.
But when I was near you, I couldn't even walk.
Your strangness and your beliefs are in my dreams.
When you commentate quidditch, it's odder that it seems.
Once you talked about the sky and even weather.
No one could ever put it any better.

Hear My Dead Voice
Being threatened, I hid my outer bruises from view.
No one bothered to give me the time of day.
Speaking out, no one heard me cry for help.
Why would they? My family was perfectly fine…so they say.
Well, one night it got too out of hand.
My heart ceased to beat; I failed to breathe.
No longer could I defend myself from your powerful blows.
Too bad no one discovered the true me underneath.
Whistling, the wind blows through the cement stones,
Leaving an eerie sense behind.
Shining, the sun beams on my polished grave,
Reflecting my past name and forgotten lifetime.
My death was just another date on the calendar.
