I'm not used to writing HP stuff most of the time I just write personal stuff but someone *cough* Lissy *cough* convincd me to post some stuff here.

Up the Ladder

Burden carried by one so young,
He must climb the ladder rung by rung,
A ladder full of turmoil and pain,
To bring down one who with terror would reign,
This man is evil more than any before,
Descendant of one of the Hogwarts four,
One must die at the others hand,
The fate of the world depends on which one stands,
One would begin a age of terror and death,
Faster than one person could draw a breath,
The other would save the world that he loved,
A world filled with those he considers beloved,
Which of these wizards will survive the duel,
Thrust upon them by fate so cruel.

Though the darkness gathers,
Though all goodness flees,
Though I stand here brave and strong,
My heart terror does seize,
Forced in this path,
By forces unknown,
I must face the evil darkness alone,
Though freinds stand beside me,
They will not leave,
No matter how much I ask,
Beg, pray and plead,
But even though they are there,
They cannot know,
The weight of this burden,
How fast it does grow,
I will struggle on,
No matter what the cost,
Even if possible,
My life maybe lost.

After clicking the link in your sig, I'm in complete awe.... ALL OF YOUR POEMS ROCK! It's sad that you had to come after they changed it to strictly hp because all of your work on that site is amazing!

As for your hp stuff, Just as awesome. The latest one was great. I have a question, How do you choose what topic you want for the hp ones? I mean like with the latest, it does tie in hp but it could also be so many diff types of evil.

Just a thought, ((I get curious at times)) Do you usually start of with topic in mind? Or do you write it and then link it in?

Most of the time I just start typing and what ever come out, comes out. Alot of my non-HP stuff starts out one way and end completly different. That way what I'm really trying to say comes out instead of rigidly sticking to one thing and I dont risk A. Not getting the point across B. sounding aweful. My mission at the moment is to find one of my non-HP poems that means alot to me and convert it to HP. It may be awhile before that one is up. Thanks! (will post another soon)

Ok I know I said I would convert one of my poems that mean a ton to me. I havent done that yet but here are two poems I wrote awhile ago that can apply to HP without changing and one that I only changed a few lines. And dont worry I have an idea on which poem I'm going to convert *is not telling*

The Price of Victory

There can be no victory without suffering,
Will it be worth the price that must be paid,
Or will we just let the pain overwhelm us,
Will it be worth the lives that were lost,
Where do you draw the line,
How long before the price becomes to much,
There is no victory without a price,
There can be no victory without suffering.

Shutting Down (from Harry's PoV)

My mind is shutting down,
I feel no more,
My soul has been jerked in every single direction,
I'm tired of it,
I'm shutting down my soul so no more pain seeps in,
I cant stand this anymore,
I'm sorry.


Ok I know there short so heres the one I changed a little. From Draco's PoV.

So Alone

Its warm in here,
But I feel so cold,
Look about me what do I see,
I see emptiness,
Nothing here,
Just me,
I am a shadow,
A wandering soul,
I feel nothing but loneliness,
My reason no longer exists,
My tears fall unnoticed,
I am drowning in the icy sea of sadness,
If I left this world,
I doubt many would notice,
And those who did notice,
Wouldn't care,
I am falling into black oblivion,
I have helped take a man from this world,
A man who gave hope to so many,
A man who protected the newcomers from people like me,
I see now I did not own the world,
Since giving my self to evil,
I no longer own my soul,
I was threated by this evil,
I was a coward,
Many would say others are worse off than I,
They are probably right,
But I just feel so alone.

Hey I'm soooo sorry I havent updated in a while. I was writing a personal peice for my nonHP poetry on a different sight *points to siggy* and started a new fan fic *no I swear I'm not advertising my story* I'll get working on some new stuff soon!
