First ever peom; this is my poetry corner! hope you enjoy it



You sit there in a chair
I watch i wait
You turn around
I blush and smile and wave
you wave and roll your eyes
fighting always, trying to hide something
I'm here i wish to yell
I wish to tell her how i feel
But no, she is first in our year
And i am dead last
We are friends and this can we ever get past?
Also there is the looming fear
a trio, then a duet, then three solos?
My friendship cannot be wrecked by these feelings
i'll just grab my broom and fly away to the qudditch field
then keep on flying
until
i forget all about you

My hands shake as i grip my wand
His scarlet eyes are glaring at me
"Today!" he calls "Today is your last night alive Potter!"
Every muscle in my body is tense.
I'm waiting to react
My reflexes are on edge
He smiles, raises his wand
I rais mine just as fast
"Avada Kedavra!"
"Expelliarmus!"
I'm dead, i think
A first year's spell against the most powerful dark magic on the earth
Dead, i think. No more Harry, no more me.
Shame that my mother's sacrifice came to this.
But then i see it!
Our wands are connected!
But how can this be
How can even the smallest amount of good match the largest amount of evil?
I struggle and gain more strength as my mum waves
I grow stronger as my father encourges me
"We can hold him off!" she cries
"To the portkey!" My dad screams
Our connection is broken and i grab cedric's body
And i am back, people staring
I am not proud of my deed
It was pure dumb luck i say
Why did an innocent boy have to be sacrificed through all this
Fate

Oh *hugs people with excitement* okay then, well i'll keep trying my best, i'm new at this 'poetry thing' and give me some pointers whenever you can. but only if you want... *people are looking at me strange as i hug them* lol.
Okay, deep breaths, i am going to try a rhyming poem. sorry if it's dreadful.

Gillyweed
Three stirs to the right
you squint at the board with all your might
Professor Snape is standing right there
wishing to see you fail
praying to see you fear
His putrid breath; breathing down your kneck
Your potions fizzes, bubbles, quick in the book you check
Nice, you think
You drop your wand with a desperate clank
Forgot a stir clockwise!
What a big surprise!
"I excpect an essay on what you have done wrong."
So that's what you'll be doing all night long

What could be worse?

Beyond my sneers
Beyond my taunts
Can't you see i mean well

So why do i get glares

We love J.K Rowling
And Harry's fate.
We get lost
In a world of parchment and ink
When we get a new book
We can barely think.
How?
So how can we like something with characters ranging from nice to
vindictice
Yet we find her books strangely
addictive.
Put a HP book infront of my face.
And you've given me a portkey to a happier place.

Passion?

In perfect loose curls
A sweet and caring face

Smart as Granger
If Herbeology was the only subject
Caring; sparkling eyes
Eager to please

Has to cope
With his Mum and Dad

and Draco.
