None | Lala's HP Sa9+ >hello there, im Lala and the poems im about to make are all pentameter. I’ll try to make them in sequence, that’ll be from the first book up to the last. But some may vary in subject (mostly in harry’s PoV) or out of the timeline, know what I mean? But still, it’ll be going from book to book. Hope you’ll join me in my journey. Comment… -/+, anything. Well, here’s the first one (when harry finds out that he’s no ordinary boy) :
________________________________________ My life lacks meaning for eleven years
I didn't dreamed I'll meet magical peers
At childhood, I had seen things I found weird
Like a man with abnormally large beard
Giant Hagrid gave a mysterious card
Right then I knew that I was a wizard
I realized that I am invited
At school called Hogwarts, I thought was haunted
But I was wrong, in there I feel like home
With secret places, there for me to roam
Oh this is perfect, what a happy land!
Good fun with just a flicker of a wand
Teach me everything Hogwarts! Or I'm dead
Coz I'm not ready for what lies ahead
Owned destiny had defined my life's course
It started and should ended with a curse

next one will be sorting hat

_____________________________________ Now they say freshies need to be sorted
We are too many, how can they do it?
A hat? It talks to me, my heartbeat leaps
'Not in Slytherin', the plea of my lips
I thought for a second, all these are wrong
I don't belong in this magical throng
Yet the sorting hat shouted 'Gryffindor'!
That's when my heart rejoices even more
O the place was filled with applause and shouts
I'm so glad I belong in Godric's house
I'll prove myself; I've talent for winning
I feel that this is just the beginning....

hope you'll like it... i'll post again, and this time I think its gonna be about Harry's favorite sport, whatelse --- Quidditch! |

______________________________________________ Knowing there's a wizard's sports excites me
Its quidditch! I really can't wait to see
But of course, I have to learn to fly first
Madam Hooch came, its like quenching my thirst
The first flying lesson was fantastic
I said "up", a command for my broomstick
Can't believe how easy to work it out
Malfoy's been naughty, I had to flew south
I'll get that remembrall back to Neville
'Go stand for what is right'; that's what I feel
I did a somersault just to catch it
Mcgonagall came; maybe its time to quit
Next thing I knew, I am the new seeker
Catch the golden snitch and be a winner
Oh great, thanks to Draco im on the team
Don't matter how dangerous it may seem...

guyz, what do you think, i admit my poems are just plain, simple and direct to the point with no symbolisms or uncommonly-used words, still i love poems and this is the way I make one... what can you say about these.... |

___________________________________________ Two teams, fourteen players; none is the least
Game begins when the quaffle is released
Chaser's job: get the quaffle through the hoops
Keeper, guards. He's sharp wherever he looks
In every match, there's always the bludgers
Beaters steer them like they're the managers
The golden ball is what the seeker seeks
The most awaited part: catching the snitch
"You catch it Potter, and we win", Wood said
I could end up, in a hospital bed
Then so be it if it means victory
It will give me a happy memory
Nothing is ordinary in quidditch
Its gripping for every wizard and witch

hope you like it, thats it all... next stop, the Sorcerer's Stone...
it'll be posted on Wednesday

Here’s another pentameter, it’s about the sorcerer’s stone. Enjoy!
__________________________________________________ _______ Alchemy, legendary in its own
Is about making the Sorcerer’s stone
A substance with astonishing powers
In greatness, surpasses every towers
Cause this stone transforms metal to pure gold
And can make you live forever and old
There’s only one known maker, we can tell
Albus’ dear friend named Nicolas Flamel
No wonder, Voldemort is after it
I’m worried sick, I could no longer eat
Snape is a traitor and I’m sure of that
We must act before everything goes bad
In the end, comes a surprising event
It was Quirrel that the Dark Lord had sent
This must be stopped, the works of a monster
I survived again, the second encounter…__________________________________________________ _______
Liked it? Comment anything. I would love to welcome them even criticisms. I’ll post another one before this month ends. Though I don’t know what it’s going to be about. But for sure it will still be based on book one. |

Erin my fellow gryffindor!
thanks for reading my poems you two, i really appreciate you two visiting here and for your comments... i love you all!
Here’s another poem, but mind you, it’s not as pleasant like the previous poems I already made. Still I’m not sure if this is the last poem I’d post that’s based on book 1. I might add another before I can move to book 2…
__________________________________________________ ______________ Leaving Hogwarts is very hard to bear
An enchanting place that’s unique and rare
When can I see again Ronald’s red hair
and Hermione’s books, that’s always there?
A summer without them is all unfair
Thinking they’ll forget me, gives me a scare
Back at Surrey with this usual cold air
I wonder, about me, does someone care?
Dursleys can mar me, but they wouldn’t dare
Coz they know I’ve spell, to them I can share
Though I’m not to use magic everywhere
About this, the Dursleys are not aware
Come things; you wouldn’t think is possible
But for sure, they’re all unforgettable…

First…
I want to thank four people for reading and posting here, I just want you
to know, you’re the ones who inspire me to keep going (to keep me
write not-so-good poems ), *gosh* am I over-reacting?...really I love
these guys, their posts mean so MUCH to me …thanks to: JoHermione(Emma) ErinElizabeth(Erin) Jessica(Jay) firebolt_flyer(Kenzie)
sorry, I know im late, really sorry about that…
that’s it I think, im going now to book 2, in summary I had written six
poems and hope I can do the same count or much more than that, I
hope this time…
here’s the first one, it involves Dobby, hope you’ll like it..
__________________________________________________ __________ I have to pretend that i don’t exist
For the Masons came, the Dursleys insist
In my room i found something or someone
A creature named Dobby, the house-elf one
This elf who always speaks in third person
and with big eyes, came for a good reason
He warned me that im in mortal danger
But i miss them all, Weasley and Granger
Yet it hurts, no one wrote to me at all
more so when i found that its his goal
Stopping my letters so i won’t go back
Got mad, i tried to get the letter-pack
Mayhem occurred, now im in big trouble
Wish i could just vanish like a bubble
I slept all night, stuck and feeling so bored
Im rescued by Weasleys flying their Ford…
__________________________________________________ __________
Before the month of March, there will be 2 more posts, I promise…*here I go again but really i would do, it!

None | another narrative poem, this time, not harry's PoV, this is a combination
from the movie and the book, this happened at the Burrow
__________________________________________________ _ She woke up one fine morning
for just an ordinary day
She ran downstairs, still yawning
then someone took her breath away
He looked up and said hello
Her heartbeat took a big fall
Truth is she liked this fellow
No one knew, his smile jolts her all
That instant turned her stone cold
Tingling clout by such behold
Upstairs she ran flabbergasted
Tried to hide, much like a wanted
Behind a door stood ajar
she waited to catch those green eyes
He came and caught her afar
Those of her brown, she hoped are nice.
What is that fondness she had?
On him she had a big crush?
Well, one thing for sure is that
Ginny does have a lovely blush…__________________________________________________ _
that definitely is not a pentameter
hope you'll like it, what do you think? next post is before March |
