Hey everybody! I'm Erin! This is the first time I've ever shared any of my Harry Potter-related poetry, so please be a little bit nice to me..... I hope you like them, and I strongly encourage you to give me constructive criticism.

I'm only going to post one right now, so I don't run out of poems to post. PLEASE tell me what you like about each poem and what would make them better. If you like some of my poems and you would like me to write another one about a specific Harry Potterish topic, tell me, and I will! Most of my poems are simple and rhyming. A lot of them are humorous, too!

This one is my own Sorting Hat Song, so it isn't exactly a poem, but it could be if you think about it.

Well, here goes:

There once were four sorcerers who had powers that were great.
They wanted to pass on their knowledge, so a school they did create.
There was Godric Gryffindor who had courage beyond belief.
And trustworthy Helga Hufflepuff would never be a thief.
There was also Salzar Slytherin; he was known to be decieving.
And wise Rowena Ravenclaw without knowledge would be grieving.
Then one day a thought came into Rowena's head,
"Who would sort the students when the founders all were dead?"
It was Gryffindor's, idea to create a hat.
And if you wanted to know where to go, it would tell you that.
So come up here, put me on, and on this stool take a seat.
Lets hurry and get the sorting done, so you can all go eat.


Well, I hope you like it! I will probably post another one tomorrow. Please tell me what you think! I know it is kind of short, and some of the lines don't really flow together very well. If you can think of anything that would fix that, please tell me, because I need all the help I can get.....

Rita Skeeter

Rita's Skeeter's very mean- she says things that aren't true.
You wouldn't like her either if she wrote something about you.
She uses her Quick Quotes Quill and jots things while you jabber.
But when you see her articles, you sometimes want to stab her.
Rita has a little secret- she can transform into a bug.
And if you told this secret, she might not be so smug.
So never tell her anything, unless you want to read a lie.
Let me assure you, Rita Skeeter can write things that would make you cry!

If you cut out 'cause, it would flow better. Like that syllable sort of threw it off a bit, but over all it was fantastic!!! Can't wait to read the Ron/Hermione/Krum one!!!

I think Ron fancies Hermione!
Do you think it could be true?
But what is even weirder,
I think Hermione likes him, too.
I know they seem to fight a lot and call each other scary,
And in the middle of their fights is usually their friend Harry.
Ron's only jealous;
He thinks Hermione fancies Victor.
'Cause when Ron asked her to the ball,
Vicky'd already picked her.
If they started dating,
Wouldn't that be swell?
Harry'd just need Ginny back,
So he'd have a girl as well!

Hahaha...That's cute!!! The last line is a bit drawn out. Just make a contraction like he'd. It was awesome! You are very talented!! Don't stop writing!
