|  Dave's Gothic Poems
These are some of my poems. You may laugh at me since I'm a guy who likes to write poetry but I take these poems and make songs out of them too, since I play guitar too.
AKA: My poems will be in Dark Red
Find Me
I'm lost, in these woods
These dark, lonely woods
My voice echoes off the hollow trees
Hollow, like me
I scream, but no one hears
I cry, but no one cares
Is anyone out there
Have you forgotten me
I dream everynight
But am I dreaming in a dream
Could it be that I'm lost inside myself
Could it
If I am shouldn't my sould be with you
Have you found my soul yet
It lingers around you
I can feel it lost and all confussed
Please, find me
Find my soul
I'm so lost
I can't find my way back
There is screaming
Please get me out of here
There is dissapointment
Please find me
Before it is too...late.

Circles . . . confussed
My path is hidden from me
Darkness is circling
The warmth disappears
The cold appears

Screaming
It menver seems to end
Every scream nails me to the ground harder
I don't know what to do or say
I'm a person hiding my feelings
Fighting to not let everyone see my tears
If only my tears would fall
But they're stuck on the inside
They drown me each and every time

I need to get it out
To tell someone

Lmao alright. There's an American Eagle across from our Hot Topic.. gets really rough! All the preppy girls hang around the guys that work there. They all scream when they come across someone they think is "creepy" *rolls eyes*. | |

Afraid to Eat
Super time my brother calls
From the kitchen below me
I sigh and stop what I'm doing
Standing up I walk down the steps
Leading to my misery
I sit down at my usual spot
As my dinner is set before me
I eat up quickly trying to get out fast
Not helping myself to seconds
I quickly run up the steps
As I here my brother yell to come back
I go back asking why I need to stay
The say we need to talk
My misery has started
They talk
Making is hard not to scream

I really like your poems/songs. I think its nice to see a guy that involved in music, gives yeh a way to express yeh self.
eveelisabeth is right, what makes your works good is that they are real. Not over the top, like most of those poets out there that I have read. Or dreadfully simple. They´re just real.
Keep up the good work, I am looking forward to reading more. | |

I really just thought my poems were angry scratch notes, but than most of my songs came out on my album that my band and I have. If you look at my avvy that's it. | |
