Snow is falling,
Now summer is gone.
Old man winter has arrived,
Whiteness covers the ground and trees.


Families spend evenings inside, reading by the fire.
Adults begin to act strangely like kids.
Love falls from the heavens.
Love fills our hearts.

okay here is one of the poems I'll be sending to Jan for SS radio. It's not the greatest... but I'm still working on others. This will do for now though on an update.

Nice work, "Snow fall" reminds me of my dad, he gets happy at this time, quite creepy actually, lol, my dad singin christmas carols *shudders*.

Can be said in many ways.
From Happy Hanukah to Merry Christmas.
From Kwanzaa greetings to Ramadan traditions.


Snowflakes fall from above.
All faces, young and old feel love.
They want to build forts and snowmen.
They remember all the forts and snowmen they made.


Families gather together for this season
We all know for what reason,
To share in the joy of roasting chestnuts.
To see old friends and far away relatives.


The food is placed on the table.
There is no need for a label.
Everyone takes more than one plate.
Everyone loves the holidays.

Enjoy everyone! I'll have to start from scratch for the next one. Hopefully it won't be as long though.

I told you all that these wouldn't be happy... it's funny how creativity comes and goes. I hate when I feel so down, but then again I love it. It's the only time I can produce such heart felt words. It just flows from my brain down my arm to the tip of the pen. Any other time it's just forced and I can't produce anything. It's healing at the same time. Knowing that someone can relate. Knowing that I'm being heard.

Neurotic and out of control.
Vying for that last strain of sanity.
Insisting that I’m really okay.
Scared that someone will see through this lie.
I collapse on the floor, to far gone to think.
Bleeding on the inside, trying not to on the outside.
Letting myself go, tears streaming down my face.
Ensnared in a web of lies and misdeeds.

lmao, i never thought you'd remember my dad's xmas related frekead times...dah, i feel old too, lol. No, he hasnt been quite as creepy this year as he was the last one, but he's hyperhappy which is cool cause he's always sorta stressed.

Ambiguity would be the word to describe just how you love those depressed times that are the source for inspiration to some of your greatest poems, it's just ambiguous. But they are like a jet of emotions shot at the reader so honest we can easily relate to them, therefore making us love them and sarcastically making us love the sadness in them, ambiguous again, isnt it?

I like you (and many others i'd think) find it easier to write when Im feeling down, somethin like ventilate the jumble of emotions we're havin right then and there. The cool thing is that u can write happy honest ones too, lol.

Ok, i'll shut it now before u doze off. Summary: I LOVE YOUR POEMS, HOOO, THEY ARE GREAT, KEEP POSTING!!!

This one I particularly liked Angel, and like Tina I wonder to whom its dedicated...That pillow thing is brilliant, demands lonelyness, need for care, way to go there Angel! I dont know if these are feelings you've felt before, but if you just observe them in other ppl, they your good to reflect them. It’s not going to be alright.
I’m not going to be okay.
The girl blurted out with a sob.
The boy sat down and offered a shoulder.


The boy lifted her chin. Wiped away the tears.
Their eyes met, one set puffy and red, the other worried and sad.
The girl didn’t need to explain what was wrong.
The boy didn’t need all the details.


Once more he wiped her tears,
And held her close to ease the fears.
I’m scare. She whispered.
You have every right, everything’s gonna be alright. He coaxed.


How do you know? She demanded softly.
I don’t, but there’s only one way to find out.
With a sigh the girl nodded.
As long as he was there she would be okay.


Sorry about the increasing downness. This poem at least shows some light and hope. Its what I was feeling after listening to a bunch of songs. Some lyrics even show up at times... which I kinda found strang being as I didn't notice myself until it was finished.
Keep commenting and I hope as much as you guys do they get a little more upbeat.
