Well Tina and I haven't worked the bugs out of the little guessing game yet. So I'll just post some more poems until we do. Thanks Secretlover101 for the comment, it was nice.
Here is my latest poem... I have to admit it's a little odd, but I still like it.

Life
I wanted to live forever to make my mark on Society.
I worked my entire youth molding myself into the perfect person.
But now I wonder if I wanted to be perfect, or just liked.


I joined clubs and participated in many events.
I held offices in every one of my clubs at one time or another.
But now I wonder if those titles really meant anything.


I graduated at the top of my class; I was only beat out by three people.
I was proud of my accomplishments.
But now I wonder how much fun I had missed out on.


I worked all summer saving up money for college.
I gathered up all my belongings; started my new life.
But now I wonder if I made the right choice.


I was busy all through college, and I made new friends.
I met a boy who was kind and had a wonderful smile.
But now I wonder if I had found true love.


I graduated from college and started my job.
I met this boy after work each day and went home happy each night.
But now I wonder if I should have spent more time with other friends.


This boy soon became my fiancé, then my husband.
We promised to love and cherish the other ‘til the end of time.
But now I wonder if I made the right decision.


Soon I was staying at home raising three little rascals.
I fixed boo boo’s, and chased the kids around the house.
But now I wonder if my parents were ever this tired.


After what seemed an eternity the children had grown up.
I still fixed boo boo’s and chased kids around the house.
But now I wonder why I enjoy being tired at night.


I sat by my husbands side as he took his last breathes.
I listened as he told me he loved me and would wait for me on the other side.
But now I wonder why all I saw was that he was leaving for good.


Now I sit in his position, with no one at my side.
I watch all memories, good and bad, like a slideshow on the walls.
But now I wonder where my family is as I drift away, I smile and say
“I’ll wait for you all on the other side.”

I normally just use my poetry as an outlet, I've never thought of it as a career.
Here's a list poem that I wrote a month or two ago.

I Want...

to cry
to be loved
to have a friend
to never have to lie
to be alone by choice
to live
to laugh
to write
to feel
to be noticed
to scream out loud
to show my pain
to let you see the real me
to never have to sit here wondering what I'm worth
to never have the feeling of need
to runaway and never come back

All of these are very good. The list one I loved, it brought a lot of stuff to my head, there's a lot I would like to say but really dont know how to, so im just leavin it there.

I feel on edge; like there is something that needs to be said
I want to tell you that I love you, but how can I … I don’t even know you
Whenever we talk I’m smiling constantly wondering if you like me the way I like you
I’ve never felt so much understanding from another person before
I’ve never met another person that I had so much in common with
Never has anyone cared how I felt or wanted to protect me… you make me feel special
I glance through this out pouring wondering if I’ve been too blunt

Ohh and charlie I've never considered putting them in a book... because believe it or not I don't show anyone my poems, except a select few poems that is. My Ode to Jello

Hello my fine Jello
I just have to write about you
You make me want to bello
You never make me blue
Each new flavor tastes so true
"Jello is the Best" I say

I looked at you and wished that I wasn’t here

I sighed with disappointment and waited for the questions to pour out of you

I squirmed in my chair; you were unlike all the others

“Would you like to explain to me what happened?” you asked

Most people already know I murmured in response.
Yet you all still keep asking I added with annoyance seeping through each word
Not all people know You countered as the smile faded back into a frown
Only those that want to help you know You said as you wrote in your notebook
Tell them I don’t want help; I was dealing with it just fine I stated emphatically
Shaking your head sadly was your only response to my opposition, but then you said,
Open your eyes, look past your pain it’s not all about you.
See what you are doing to others. Don’t you care about your friends and family?
Every nerve jumped at what she had said. Tears threatened to streak down my face
Crying never helped anything I told myself angrily as I blinked them back.
Rage filled me as all the uncalled memories sprung into my head.
Evil thoughts whispered stinging comments. I felt myself falling apart.
Tell me, You said hurriedly, What caused you to start? You leaned forward in your chair
Something pulled me back to reality. I let out a sigh of fear as I met you eyes.
Effort has been made to help you, please make use of it. You beseeched of me.
Can’t I just be left alone I screamed at you. Tears spilled from my eyes at this point.
Regretfully you tell me to sit down and you motion toward the box of tissues.
Either tell me what happened, or don’t tell me. You said sadly,
‘Til you do we all will just have to wait.


I wrote these last night. It's two poems, but they tell a story when together. I'm rather proud of these two at the moment so I hope you like them. Ohh and the title of the two is some what hidden in one of the poems.

There’s Something on the Roof


There’s something on the roof, and it’s very loud.
There’s something on the roof that I can only hear.
There’s something on the roof, and it sounds like a cat flexing it’s claws on a chair.
There’s something on the roof, and it’s making banging noises like a giant is up there.
There’s something on the roof, and it’s driving me crazy!!!
There’s something on the roof, and I have to see what it is!
There’s something on the roof, and it’s Dad, putting up Christmas lights!

The Tree

It started life as a small seed, just like you and me
It fell onto a wild paddock and began to grow
It encountered many different obstacles but kept on like nothing had happened
It grew into a large and magnificent tree

Then one day children stumbled upon the tree
They hung up a swing and built a tree house
The tree enjoyed watching the young feisty children play
It started to look forward to the days when they would visit

After years of happiness the children grew up
They stopped playing house and didn’t swing with such lust
They came to visit less and less each year
The tree grew sad and each year the leaves drooped a little more

It seemed that the tree wasn’t going to live much longer
The bark lost its trim look
The leaves lost their luster
The branches lost their will to reach for the sun

One day a group of adults came to visit the tree
They looked at the tree with mixed emotions
The tree house had fallen apart, the swing hung by one rope
The tree was ashamed that the people had to see it this way

The adults just stood staring at the tree
Memories came flooding back bringing tears to their eyes
Almost at once they ran and hugged the tree
The tree noticed who they were, and the branches lifted up just a little

The adults started to come and visit the tree more often
Gradually the tree house was repaired with new additions added
New ropes were hung for the swing; the tree began to feel loved again
The branches started to lift a little higher

During the beginning of summer the adults came for their visit
They brought their children with them this time though
The new children looked at the tree curiously
It didn’t seem that interesting, not as fun as a video game

The tree was just as shocked as the children
It watched as the children hesitantly sat on the swing
It felt the once familiar tickle of little feet as they climbed into the tree house
Everything seemed perfect, but something wasn’t right

The adults sat nearby and watched their children
