Happiness
If I could see happiness,
It would look like young animals playing with each other.
If I could hear happiness,
It would sound like children laughing in the school yard.
If I could smell happiness,
It would have the bouquet of blooming lilacs during spring.
If I could taste happiness,
It would taste like a deep rich chocolate, milky and smooth.
If I could touch happiness,
It would feel like a purring cat lying in your arms, undisturbed, calm and serene.

There’s a monster under my bed, and it snores really loud.

There’s a monster under my bed, that tells me all it’s secrets.

There’s a monster under my bed, and he needs to take a bath.

There’s a monster under my bed, and he’s blue with green and purple polka-dots.

There’s a monster under my bed, and who cries at night, for she’s scared of the dark.

Why have you put me on such a pedestal?
I’m no better than you. I’m no less than you. We are the same, you and me.


Why do you all despise me, but when you need me for homework why am the only one?
You don’t talk to me like a friend. You talk to me like I’m your slave; I’m only there to help you with your home work. You make me feel like I’m only on this world to make sure you get your homework done.


Why can’t you see what you are doing to me?
I feel like I’m walking on egg shells when I’m around you. It seems no matter what I say it’s not the right thing. You are taking advantage of my compassion. I only help you all because I don’t want to be the one that causes you to fall. This is strange because you don’t have a problem with watching me fall.


Why don’t you notice how you treat me, how you treat others?
You treat me like I’m so smart, like I know everything, well… guess what… I DON’T! You treat me like being smart is a disease that you should stay away From me because it could be catching. To bad smartness wasn’t.

Why do you act the way you do?
You act like you are better than everyone, like everyone should be grateful that you even talk to them. You walk around like you are the one on the pedestal. You make everything seem happy and sane, but it isn’t.

I am talented and trustworthy.
I wonder why tall towers still stand.
I hear tap dancing turtles.
I see tiny pickup trucks.
I want to stand on top of a tall steeple.

OMG, THESE are so friggin good! LOl, I used to be able to write down my feelings, but now just simply can't. Man.. this reminds me..I might try and write...doubt they'll be any good or even close to yours!
These are good, So, i guess there's more to Angel8807 than what meets the eye? Wait i ahve a question. Do you write while your experiencing it? Or do you jus twrite whenever and whatever? Or maybe you get ideas for poems? Sorry, but this sorta thing really interests me!

Ok tina. Here are some answers for your questions.
1. There is alot more to people than what meets the eye. Strange enough people here know me better than those that I actually see.
2. I normally write after experiencing things. My poems are a collection of many events piled into one.
3. I do normally write when ever I feel like it. Things pop into my head and I have to hurry to write them all down.
4. I get most of my ideas from my experiences, music, and from watching other people.

If anyone else has questions I'd be willing to answer almost anything, but with limits.
I plan to post again by next week.

I will never forget the night we met
We found a common interst and started to chat
Through the coming weeks we pledged our devotion
