If one wishes to step away from the excitement and music for a moment, the food station is a perfect way to take a break. Full of delicious (albeit not the healthiest) snacks and treats like pizza, fish and chips, and fried eatables, there’s something for everyone. For those who want to stay on the healthier side, there are some veggie options also. So take a plate, fill it with goodies, and enjoy the music!
Food food food food food. Derry was hungry, okay? She'd forgotten to buy breakfast so she couldn't have any before she left this morning. Living on your own was hard. So she was glad there was food here, because otherwise she'd STARVE.
Well, probably not starve, but she'd be hungry and she was always cranky when she hadn't eaten. So she ordered herself a bit of fairy funnel cake (if muffins counted as breakfast food why not cake?) to satiate the hunger. Hm... should she get something to drink now too? Or wait a bit? She peruuuuused the menu...

Music and food and people, oh my!
Sun-kissed Schuyler was sooooaaaaking up this summer. And the sun. And now the music. Still able to hear the music well from the food station, she swayed and moved happily to the beat as she eyed up the list of foods for purchase.
The fairy funnel cake was tempting, but sweet Merlin, they had fried ice cream?

Yes, please.
Caterina was sure sure sure forever sure that her friends were going to be here. LOTS of them! She also knew that she wanted to have food and surely there would be some here and she was VERY excited to find it.
But also. She found two friends. She didn't even have to look at the menu, and didn't care to right away anyway because FRIENDS. "Derry! Schuyler!" LOOK. Did they see they were BOTH here? THEY WERE. Cat attached herself to both of them, one at a time, and gave them big squeezes.

Coming to a music festival in which West was playing was kind of a requisite thing, and Mo shlepped along happily. He had his camera, loads of extra film, comfortable shoes, and plenty of time to kill. Not that he didn't want to be there, especially when he felt that deep-down finger tingle that meant good pictures were on his horizon.
And especially when he was sure he'd get to see some of his favorite people. Speaking of which... there happened to be a few of them now. He should have known he'd find Cat wherever there was food, but what a nice surprise to see Skylark there too. And a Derry! "Prettiest girls in the entire world," Mo took a shot of them before his greeting, and then one right after. "'Lo. I didn't know everyone came to music festivals to eat too. I thought that was just me and Cat."
Naturally, for Józsua, when it came to events like these, the most important thing was not the music, but to sample the food..
The waft of unhealthy smelling, greasy fried food, dripping in calories with extra extra calories, drifted Józsua's way; he then drifted zombie-like toward said food. Not even hungry in the slightest before he caught a whiff, he gazed lustfully up at the menu. His stomach gave a little rumble of approval.
“Hope you like your food fried.” He murmured, glancing back at Olly who was hopefully following. Fried ice-cream? Merlin. ..Maybe try that later, yea?
He then proceeded to order himself a burger and a large side of fries.
Leaving work relatively early given her early start to the day, the dark haired ministry employee wandered down the festival street aimlessly. Not up for dancing amongst a crowd of people or listen to the band performing Sophie steered her steps toward the food station. She needed to eat something anyway. She had just eaten a measly salad for lunch.
Pushing several locks of dark hair out of her black eyes she stopped in front of the food table to eye the selection. Should she go for pizza or fish and chips? Neither option was very healthy but it was a festival so why not go all out?

“You want anything, Olly?” He offered his friend.
Olly was only here because TDK were going to perform later.
That was the only reason.
She hadn't even been paying much attention to where they were headed, simply following Józsua. Now once they'd stopped walking she looked around and almost smiled. Of course. They were at the food station. No surprise there. Actually she WAS in fact smiling a little bit now.
" 'course I-" Wait..... Olly leaned a little closer to eye one of the fried chocolate frogs. "I'm not sure actually." Huh. Weird. She shrugged though. "Sure." Not that she was particularly hungry. Actually the smell of all that food made her feel a little nauseated. She wrinkled her nose slightly and took a small step back. "Fish and Chips." That sounded like the easiest option right now. Yes.

This music festival seemed like a fun way to spend the day, not to mention a great time to meet and mingle with new people. And of course Kieran's first stop would be the food. Festivals always seemed to be known for their tasty selection, even if it was primarily the music that was showcased. Walking in time to the beat of the music currently playing, the Kestrals manager headed straight for the crowd of people where he was sure there was tables of food. And he was right.
Grinning to himself as he slowed his steps in approach, dark blue eyes found the menu selection. Not bad.. He moved to get himself a plate when he noticed a very attractive woman out of the corner of his eye. His smile grew as he got a better look at her, realizing that she was familiar. "Can't go wrong with a good slice of pizza," he said as he stepped a little closer to her, his grin firmly in place. Looked like she was still deciding and that seemed pretty good to him.

Schuyler had just finished ordering her fried ice cream when she heard her name being said with an enthusiasm that made her smile. "Cat!" she returned, and wrapped her arms around her friend in an equally eager fashion. Long, squeezy hugs were the best.
Looks like Cat was also being more observant than Schuyler today. Because Derry was hitting up the food stand as well and she hadn't even noticed until now. "Hey, Derry," she smiled warmly.
Okay, so either the song being played right now wasn't all that great or this food stand just had some very tempting options to choose from because now one Marcus Branxton was joining their little group. She'd heard the distinct click of his shutter before she'd seen him, then grinned. "Such a charmer." The camera lowered from his face so that she could properly see him now. "Mhm. Can't beat fried ice cream." It was overpriced, but it was worth it.

A music festival wasn't really his thing. Not that Legend really knew what his thing was, but music wasn't it. But he was still here. At the music festival. Partly because of girl pouting that he couldn't really get away from, and partly because of food.
The latter was a perfect reason.
The blond pushed his way through a group of people, throwing grins here and there, and even a few 'sorries'.
Anytime now Cassie.

The place where she can always be found at festivals and whatnot. The food stands. She loved food, maybe a bit too much. Especially at festivals because almost everything was deep fried, delicious and just all around bad for you. But she didn't care. She kind of wished Harry was here, or Jordan. Both were working so she didn't bother asking them to join her. And she wasn't sure if this was really Harry's scene either. Anyway, the blonde looked over the menu and tried to decided on what to get first.

Cassie had slipped away from Brynn in search of Legend. Had Brynn even met the blonde? If she hadn't really she would be introducing them TODAY. She had to find him first however.
Luckily that wasn't too hard.
She snuck up behind him and poked his side. "Hey you, you came! You're here!.." She looked around her....."You're hungry aren't you?" Yep. He probably was.

Hadley was FAMISHED! In a rush to get here after work, she had taken all her clothes in her fantastically small but magically enlarged purse, which was safely tucked over her shoulder. She rushed to the food stand and scoured the menu for something to eat. Heck, she didn't care what, as long as it was quick! Her heals, luckily, had been charmed with an anti-puncture spell. No falling through grass for these pumps.
She ordered a Gnome Burger, unsure what to expect, and paid up. Taking her first bite, she actually let out a "MMGGHHHHH," of delicious satisfaction. There was someone else looking over the menu, and Hadley swallowed her bite to tell her "If it helps you any, the Gnome Burger is deliiiiiicious!"
The band that was playing at the moment were taking a five and Louisa, after all the dancing and going crazy, saw to go and get a bite. Vashti promised her she'd be here in the festival tonight so they could catch up face-to-face for a change. So much have happened since she received Vashti's letter and she wanted to discuss things and ask about the girls, and possibly get Vashti to go wild tonight heh heh.
For now, though, Louisa got herself some chips and soda to eat away.

Sophie drummed her fingers silently on the plate as she tried to decide what food she was exactly in the mood for. Some of the dishes just seemed to frightening. She didn’t want end the day with an upset stomach. One could have more fun. Sophie was just reaching for a slice of pizza when a familiar voice stopped her mid motion. Glancing up and sideways she beamed when she recognized the man. "Hello Kieran," putting a good slice of pizza onto her plate she nodded in agreement. "True, I'm getting some fish and chips too. Some of the other dishes look a bit creepy to me, like that cursed hot dog." She gestured with a shudder.
"So how have you been? Are the kestrals full at work practicing for their next match?" It had been more fun than Sophie had expected when she had gone with her brother to see Kieran's professional quidditch team play.
Olly was only here because TDK were going to perform later.

Could they move away from the food now please?
Olly didn't seem half as happy to be here as Józsua did. Live music.. food.. atmosphere.. The Dead Kneazles... it all appealed him. He was even happy to brave the possibility of rain and the inevitable mudbath it would bring with it.. He'd opted to wear a pair of Doctor Martens instead of those wellies/gumboots Derry was so fond of. Not his thing. At all.
He was pleased to see his friend smiling as he looked back at her.. even if it was just a small smile. It looked genuine which was nice considering how things had been of late. He followed her eye to the chocolate frogs. Fried ones. Even he, who was prepared to try most things food-wise, wouldn't go there. It was a step a little too far.
He wrinkled his nose. “You reckon they still try and hop away?” He mused lightly, his eyes on the frogs. Or did frying them 'kill' them?
Fish and chips? Alright. He put his food down on the counter and ordered, then watched a large portion being served. He handed them to Olly, pinching a chip as he did so. Turning back to pay, he picked up his food again and thanked the person serving. “You fancy going to sit and listen to a band while we eat these?”

Who was even playing right now?
Olly was only half paying attention to what Józsua was saying. She was too busy trying not to throw up from the smell of all that fried food. She took another step back. "I have no idea how it works." Nor why on Earth anyone would want to eat that.
Fried chocolate. That just sounded gross.
Looking over her shoulder to scan the crowd for familiar faces aka Schuyler Olly missed the fact that Józsua had stolen one of her fries. Not that she would've minded. In fact he could have all of them for all she cared. She automatically took the offered food from him though and even gave him a smile. Thanks. Now could they finally move away from all that food?
"Yeah." Not that she was particularly interested in the band. But it certainly sounded like something somewhat distracting to do. So she started walking over to the seating area. "When are they on again?"
This was lovely, the togetherness of the people, the unity; Lina loved it. There was nothing more she loved than seeing people at peace with one another, and happy and often times you saw such things when fans or those of a common trait were brought together such as an event like today. It was due to this that Lina's warm smile, shone more so than usual.
Beside her husband, the Finnish mother pushed Asa's stroller. The two children, as most times or at least in her perspective, were fairly well behaved and it gladdened Lina that she could engage her two boys with the sense of togetherness. They needed to learn, and the more of it the better. A naive mind was often lost and afraid, but a knowledgeable mind led you to the path you needed to journey.
Enough of lessons for now though or rather a break of them as she believed one could never learn enough. Either way the poor children needed some food and Lina herself was somewhat hungry too, and she was sure that without a doubt Jayden would agree to anything edible.

Cat was so busy hugging her friends to even remember that she was at the place with all the food. The best place to be, obviously. She gave them both one more hug and wiggled and patted their heads (or shoulders if she couldn't reach, hello Derry was tall) and then bounced happily. "How are you two? I've missed you." It had been way longer since she'd seen Schuyler than she'd seen Derry, but still!
And oh! OH! LOOK! Boyfriend had found them too! This was just oh so very wonderful! She loved that he had taken pictures of them all too. She was going to have to steal that camera away from him at some point so he could be in the pictures as well. He did look so very handsome in pictures, you know. And in person and.... Cat threw her arms around him too, giving another hug. HUGS FOR EVERYONE, most especially for Mo. "Hi. There's food. Let's have food. Schuyler is getting food." So Cat needed food too and Mo should have some TOO.
Sophie drummed her fingers silently on the plate as she tried to decide what food she was exactly in the mood for. Some of the dishes just seemed to frightening. Kieran's grin grew as the woman turned to face him and seemed to immediately recognize him. "Hi, Sophie." His eyes fell on the slice of pizza she was reaching for and he chuckled lightly to himself seeing her follow his suggestion. But he thought he was right, pizza usually was a good choice. And the fish and chips didn't look too bad either, but what she said next made him laugh a little more in amusement. "Don't blame you there.. I wonder if it means you'll get cursed if you eat one or that the hot dog was cursed itself." Probably was just someone's way of being clever and had no real meaning at all, but the thought was fairly funny.
He pulled a slice of pizza onto his own plate, thinking about what else he should get having a decent appetite right about now. Maybe one of the funnel cakes and he looked that way when Sophie spoke again. Looking up at her, he gave her a wide grin. "No, not currently.. It's actually the off-season right now so I have the month free to enjoy myself." Which was one reason why he was at the festival.. though he did have some planning and meetings to take care of, but it was a little less of a workload during the summer. "And how have you been, Sophie? Cleaned up any major accidents lately?" Seemed like an interesting line of work..

Vashti probably wouldn't have come to this on her own. The festival was probably fine, but still, she had lots of other things to do, like see her mum and Anakin's dad, let them see their grandkids, spend time with her daughters on her own too, plan her lessons, see friends, etc, etc, etc. But Louisa had invited her to this music festival, so Vashti had agreed.
After saying goodbye to the girls and Anakin and his dad, she'd apparated away to Diagon Alley. Now where had they said to meet up in this festival place?
Ah, right, the food area. She made her way over there, glad that there was still enough daylight to recognize faces pretty easily, and it didn't take long for her to find the one she was looking for.
"Louisa!" she called with a grin, hurrying over to where the girl young woman was eating.

Louisa had a bunch of chips in her mouth when she heard a VERY familiar voice call out her name no, this time it wasn't Tori. "BASHTI!" She said with her mouth full, and took the older friend into a strong greasy hug.
"So glad you could make it." She grinned at her friend and guided her to sit on the curb of the street with the chips plate in her hand. "How have you been? How're the girls and Anakin? Good choice you didn't bring them along, some people are being embarrassing over there at the dancing area." She snort!chuckled and made a yikes face before shoving more chips into her mouth.

Derry hadn't even noticed Schuyler appear near to her. She was still trying to make up her mind about a drink, and shovelling cake into her mouth, when her name was suddenly DECLARED from behind her, snapping her back into reality. "Cat, wait I-ooof..." She attempted to hold her tray with the cake in it upright as she was squeezed, and heard the plastic fork snap. Oops. "I mean... hi..." She chucked the fork in the bin - totally forgetting she could have fixed that with magic - and resorted to finishing the cake with her fingers. The hi was for Schuyler too, was that obvious? "I didn't even notice you were stood there, m'still half asleep." She hadn't slept much last night... For reasons. "Feels like I haven't seen you guys in ages, how's the puppy, Cat?"
She was pulling a particularly unattractive face, trying to get the last bit of cake in her mouth, when she heard the click of a camera and cursed internally. Was that... Quidditch stuff..? There were probably hundreds of famous musicians here? Why did someone have to take a picture of her pulling that face. She was just deciding that photos were her least favourite part of her job when Mo spoke and Derry realised it was him, he was taking a picture of all of them and she should be less paranoid. She even had time to smile for the second photo, even if she did have bits of cake crumbs left around her mouth. "I go everywhere to eat." It was like, number one requirement of anything: Have Food.
Olly was only half paying attention to what Józsua was saying. She was too busy trying not to throw up from the smell of all that fried food. She took another step back. "I have no idea how it works." Nor why on Earth anyone would want to eat that.

"Yeah." Not that she was particularly interested in the band. But it certainly sounded like something somewhat distracting to do. So she started walking over to the seating area. "When are they on again?"
It was obvious WHO she was talking about yeah?
Yeah.. well.. Olly probably wasn't the best person to ask about that. Józsua looked back at her and grinned. She looked a little peaky.. Józsua clearly had a stronger stomach than her.
Probably the only way in which he was stronger than Olly but yea..
He smiled back. No problem.
Pausing to take a large bite (priorities) out of his giant cheeseburger, he then jogged a bit to catch up with his friend, not wanting to lose her in the throng of people.
“We should arrange somewhere to meet in case we get separated.” He suggested, looking around for a visible landmark.
They? Oh. The Kneazles. Of course. “m'not sure. Later. They're one of the headliners yea?” Yeah. They were.. which Józsua knew fine well. He chewed ungraciously and nonchalantly on a chip while pondering things.
He arrived at the main stage area and flopped onto the grass to tuck into his food. What was it about eating outdoors which made even bad food taste good?
“You excited?” He asked, grinning at Olly while stuffing another chip in his mouth. Excited about the band, that was. He sure was.
