It's a new month! - MARCH! Ron's Birthday Month!

Thanks to Jessica's (dancerbookl)suggestion in the RWFC Discussion thread, we have our Discussion topic for the month!

This month, we will be discussing Ron's life post-Deathly Hallows. We know that he married Hermione (

), had two beautiful children, and helped reform the Wizarding World and Ministry of Magic. J.K. Rowling commented in an interview that Ron became an Auror, yet in a webchat, she said that Ron was helping George Weasley manage Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. Whatever he's doing, how do you think his life is going nowadays?

Chat threads are converted to Discussion threads in all forum fan clubs
Presidents have the right to delete post for those members who do not follow the rules
Chatting is still allowed within discussion threads as long as the post pertains to the discussion going on

I would like to think that he and Harry don't always work side-by-side, I mean (as much as I love Harry) they are just too close and they should really be working with other persons to help with the making~the~world~a~normal~place effort, know what I mean?

I think Ron runs off with Harry occasionally on madcap adventures leaving Hermione home with the kids but that's okay cuz she and Ginny don't pine for the boys but go off on their own adventures which is way cool for the kids who are at Hogwarts having their own crazy adventures.

Why?

HELLO! The whole family (Ron, Harry, Ginny, Hermione) come from very adventurous stock LOL that's if you ignore that Ron's parents were in the original Order (Hey Grandma was cool once yo!)

Just sayin' ...

And you all thought the Incredibles were cool ... The Weasley's PWN! And the Potter's too.

I completely agree! I'd like to think that his experience would put him in a leader position and not at Harry's right side. Ron's a leader too, and it's his time to take charge while Harry takes charge somewhere else. I'm also glad that Hermione ended up not working with the other two. She's independent and doing her own thing. I also love that Ginny has such a cool job and didn't feel obligated to get into politics or the Ministry of anything.

The thing I find frustrating is that Jo said in one interview that he's an Auror and then in the webchat, she said he was working with George at the shop. I, personally, love that he does both AND a husband AND a dad because he's like Superman!

I'd also like to think that Ron is Superdad. I hope he'd be really there for his kids the way his parents were for him. Even though that both parents work, I still know that he and Hermione are brilliant parents. I know that them and their cousins are close. It's really OBHWF...minus poor Fred .

Whatever is going on for him, I know that he's happy and that he's in the spotlight. If for no one else, he's the main man in Hermione's life and his children's lives. GO RON!

I think that he's doing both, because I'm sure that with George could handle this hop most of the time by himself, but needs some help here and there

I think Ron got a job with Harry where they worked side by side, as equals. I could also see him helping George with the shop at times.

and he'll do something really stand-outish and clever,because it'd always been about Harry but I think he'll do something as an auror and then he'll get more attention and Hermione will be like "My hero!"
