Vote SS Graphic Contest

Let's all agree there is not another Harry Potter fan-site out there that is better than our own site, Snitchseeker.com. We, formerly, ran another contest like this and with your help we put Snitchseeker at number one at a HP ranking site! We have selected another HP ranking list to participate in and we again need our members' help to show others that Snitchseeker is the best. Will you help us?

We will hold a contest for new a Vote SS banner twice a month. We hope to keep the contest active through member participation and wonderful graphics. To give you more say, the winning entry will be selected by popular vote using a poll. We hope this will encourage everyone to vote more often! We hope you have fun and participate both in the creation and selection of the Vote SS banners! We, also, hope you use the Vote SS banner in your signature and vote each day.

You may begin submitting entries on October 1, 2007.

Contest Guidelines

Graphic Rules:

1. Your banner must not exceed 150 pixels for width and 50 pixels for height.
2. Your banner must have a file size of less than 10 KB.
3. Your banner MUST contain the word "Vote".
4. You may only submit one entry per contest.
5. You must keep the entry private and reveal it to no one.
6. Your banner can be a still or it can be animated.
7. We may ask for the entries to have themes from time to time, if so all entries must comply with the request.
8. All SS Board Rules apply.

Contest Dates:
- The contest starts on 1st and 15th of each month at 12:01 am GMT.
- You have one week to create and submit your entry, meaning at 11:59 pm GMT on the 7th and 21st.
- To submit your banner, you must PM to Wayfarer before the deadline.

Voting:
- A poll will be posted in this thread on the 8th and 22th of each month.
- The voting will be open for 7 day ending on the 14th and 28th, respectively.
- Members will see only the banners in polls since no other information will be given.
- Will be done in a manner that nobody know who voted for which banner, even in the event of a tie.
- In the even of ties, a SS Staff member, will be asked to break the tie.

Winners:
- The winner gets lots of publicity.
- The winning banner will be put in the "Submit Your Signature Here" thread as the "Featured Banner".
- All SS Staff members of every variety will proudly wear your winning banner until the next contest ends.
- Members will hopefully join in and place your banner in their signatures.
- The winning banner becomes a permanent member of our collection of Vote SS Banners.

General:
- If you don't win but you really like the banner you made, then resubmit it!
- You can resubmit it every contest! But, once a banner has won, it must be retired.
- Questions should be posted in this thread.
