A large Tuscan Style Mansion sits on the top of a hill looking over the equally large homes in the gated community. A large rod iron gate decorated with with balloons automatically swings open and a stone drive way leads up to the house.

Jason comes by himself now and maybe Delilah will join him later. Knock, knock. This mansion is as beautful as mine , maybe even better.

Jai and her sister got settled in their room and went stright to the back yard with the veiw of the ocean, they had always loved their grand-parents veiw. The sat on the back patio in their bathing suits and dipped their feet in the pool.

"Hello?" A bored voice came from the intercom "Who is it?"

"Be nice." A stern voice called to the previous one.

It is Jason and I heard someone is turning 15 or should I say it is her Quincenera" Jason told the voice at the door.

"Oh it's one of Jai's little friends, let him in!" a chirpy voice announced. A loud buzzer sounded and the gate swung open and the front door was opened seconds later.

"Jason!" Jai called to him smiling from the door "Thanks for comming."

" Like to see the rest of the house Jai" Jason told her. " It is beautful outside and it just from here where I am standing inside the front door, the house looks beautiful inside" Jason told her.

Jai saw Alex and grinned "Alex!" she pressed the buzzed to let him "I'm so glad you came." she kissed him.

"Come along and I'll show you where to put you things." Scarlett said smiling to Jason. She motioned for him to follow and walked past Jai and Alex winking at her little sister before leaving.

"This is where you'll be sleeping." She opened an arched door leading to his room.

" Thank you Scarlett" Jason put his stuff in the closet in the room. Jason then waits to see who else is coming . Jason wants to know what else is going on next at Jai's house.

"Im glad I came. " He replied, in a sweet French accent, he kissed her and wrapped his arms around her, "How are you Jai?"

"I'm a bit tired," she admitted "But I still feel hyper." she giggled warpping her arms around his waist.

"So that's her boyfriend?" Jai's dad leaned to Luriken and asked, Luriken shrugged and walked to the kitchen. He knew better than to ask her.

" Hi Alex" Jason said to him. "Scarlett, like to show me around and we can leave these two alone" Jason rold her.

Scarlett smirked at Jai walked held onto the crook of Jasons hand leading him away from the entrance hall to the kitchen where her family was. "This is my grand-father, Alanso Steeyle." She pointed to a tall graying man.

His cheeks were wrinkled and he had deep laugh lines around his eyes. The old man offered him a broad smile as he moved around the island in the center of the kitchen. "Hello." he said when he successfully got to the other end.

"Thats my Grand-mum, Mrs. Sophia Steeyle." she pointed out a stout woman half her husbands height.

The woman had thick black hair that was caught in a stubborn bun covered with a small red net. She smiled at Jason showing two brilliant rows of teeth and wiped her hands in a dish cloth. "Nice to meet you, call me grand-ma." she said, her spanish accent thick. Her lips were bright red and she wore little make-up to complement her skin colour.

"My Aunt Lizzie and Uncle Alanso." she said nodding to the couple, her aunt was a thin woman, her skin tone and facial features revealed that she wasn't of Spanish decent. She offered Jason a grin and returned to washing the vegetables that they would eat for dinner later in the afternoon.

Her uncle was sitting in the stool closest to Jason. He turned in the chair and nodded to Jason. This man was spanish, he has the same broad smile as Mrs. Steeyle carried and his laugh lines matched his fathers. "Hola." The man grinned and turned back to the conversation they were previouly engaged in.

"Well that just some of them," Scarlett said shrugging, "We'll meet the rest soon enough."

" Nice meeting all of you " Jason replied. "Thamks Scarlett for introducing me" Jason said.

"Aww." Alex muttered, "Awesome?" He asked, if the phrasing was right, he was still such a foreigner. He had a lot to learn. He reached into his back pocket and brought out what looked like a ring case. "Happy birthday." He simply said, holding it out gently to her.

"Hiya Jason." Alex repiled.

Jason goes up to his room. He unpacks. I know that birthday present for Jai is around here somewhere. Jason looks nervous.

"Very awesome." Jai giggled, he was right it was awesome, she needed the energy for her cousins. Jai looked in his hand and shook her head slightly, "Wha- Mon Dieu, merci." she bit her lip and took the case slowly.

"You know I wish your mom would come back, that was very entertaining." A voice sounded from the intercome. The gate swung open and allowed them to enter.

"Eet'z a shame she left really." A smooth French accent mused. "I have to tell Jai about zis." She gave him a grin and leaned against a silver car. "So are you planning on going een?" She said standing up straight. She looked like a replica of Jai only a bit taller and with blue highlights.

Her smile was lean and her eyes were hidden behind huge shades that hd small crystals in the corners. The wind played with the little skirt she wore and her hair blew with it. "I am Charlotte." she said walking past him.

Oh wow. First Xanan, and now this. Shel could not keep back a smile at the comment, though. Wait - Why did everyone like Xanan so much, anyway? Sure, she was his mother, sure he loved her, but still. He would definitely have replied, but his attention was immediately diverted by another, pretty voice.
