Lilly flapped her hand. "Forget about them. I'll make sure, if my friends do not, that your name is Friday, and nothing else. Now stop worrying. Everything will be fine, Fry." She said with a warm smile at him. She looked him in the eye, and smiled. He was sweet, deep inside, and that was the biggest part of him.

She leaned in a bit closer to him and kissed him sweetly.

Friday felt better and hoped that everything'll be fine. I'll try...After she kissed him, he told her, "I'll stop worrying." He held her closer to him and felt safe with her.

"Dad...?..." Friday didn't want to talk about his dad. "Ummm dad's not the greatest person on earth. Ever since my mum died, he's been filled with hatred. For some reason, he hates D.J., Kyle...And Nes. But we all know he fears Nes. I assume she told you about her powers?"

Dammit!..."Well all of us has powers, but in this family, you can only be born with one power. But Nes was born with a lot of powers. And dad fears she'll overrule him." Friday and everyone else knows dad fears this.

Friday breathed deeply and gave up. He looked at Lilly and bit his lip once more. I can't tell lies...Especially not to her...Friday spilled the details, "Our family's been in vendetta for many centuries. There are two sides of us: The good side and the bad side. The bad side are dark wizards, who want to kill off all muggles, half bloods, and muggle borns. The good side wants to fight for their right to keeping living."

"My dad was brought up by the bad side. He never liked the idea of killing anything that's not a pure blood. So he emancipated himself and the good side took him in. Dad married a muggle named Tish Marie LaSalle. No one on the bad side thought the marriage was a good marriage. A month after Nes and I were born, mum was murdered at a party and a riot began. Then the riot turned into a life-long family feud. And years later, dad found out about Nes's powerful talents. They were powerful and abnormal than any relatives' powers. They were something strong, dangerous, and possibly deadly."

"Recently, Nes's powers attracted the bad side, and their new leader Nicola December Addams; she's our aunt. Nicola created a potion called The Cure, a potion so powerful it can turn any muggle, half blood, and muggle born into a pure blood. Nes wanted nothing more in than to be normal; she wanted The Cure. So aunt Nicola offered her a choice: Join the dark army and fight in war, for The Cure's right to be given to those who need it or suffer like everyone else. The Ministry wouldn't allow The Cure to be given out, so Nicola started a war that's happening right now in Africa."

"Dad disowned Nes because she joined the bad side. Though, she's still confused on which side she should be on. The one that wants Nes to be safe or the one that wants the whole world to be pure bloods." Friday waited for any type of reaction from Lilly.

Lilly had that look on her face, the look that said a thousand thoughts were running through her mind. Nes is an awesome person, but her whole family is ripped apart on her account, Lilly thought.

She couldn't think anything to say to Friday in reply. "Wow.." She said, knowing that she sounded pretty dumb.

Friday's eyes seemed watery at first, but he wiped his eyes so he wouldn't sob in front of Lilly. It has to stop... He didn't know what else to say except, "That's why half the family's not coming. Because of the vendetta and because of Nes's powers."

He felt Lilly hug him and he hugged back. Though, Friday felt out of place, thinking about his family. He felt weak and worthless. Should I tell her I have no powers?...Friday had a look on his face that said he felt unwanted. In the Addams family, he was an outcast.

As Friday returned her hug, Lilly wanted to take a peak into his head. Within a split second, she was inside his head. Unlike other people she'd met at Hogwarts, his mind was easy to read.
Probably since he already opened up to me, She thought as she looked over into his scattered head. He has no powers, She thought horrified. She blinked and was out of his mind, then looked at his face. She didn't really need to look into his head, it was written all over his face. She smiled in spite of herself.

"And you, Friday?" She asked quietly. "You don't have powers, do you?"

How does she do that?!...Friday didn't know whether to lie, to impress Lilly, or to tell the truth. He looked down at the floor and breathed, with heavy thought. No one in the family ever knew about his lack of powers. They all thought he just doesn't want to use them.

Friday glanced at Lilly and slowly gathered the right words..."I lack any special abilities and no one in this family knows. I'm afraid they'll either disown me or give me the silent treatment."

Lilly rocked on her heels, thinking. "So.. anything else you want to fill me in on?" She asked, a small smile on her face. If he tells me things that even his family doesn't know, then he must really trust me, She thought, looking into his eyes.

Friday shrugged his shoulders. "On my 5th birthday, we had clown at the party. There was something about a clown's laugh that made me so scared enough to jump in the swimming pool, to hide. I've been scared ever since."
