Friday bit his lip. She didn't like it. Or maybe she didn't want us to kiss. Yeah! That's it! Lilly's just being nice. He fell silent and nervous and waited for someone to interrupt the scene...But nothing happened. Lilly's just being nice.

Lilly looked at him, and from then, it seemed like her body was acting on it's own accord. Her hand strayed to caress his cheek. She brought his face closer to hers, and somehow, they kissed once more, but this time it wasn't a short peck, it was going to be a kiss that he would never forget.

Before she knew it, her hands were around his neck, occasionally stroking his hair, and his hands were wrapped around her waist, pulling her towards him. She had to pull herself slightly away from him to stop him from kissing her, but he would not loosen his grip on her waist.

She heard footsteps not far from there, and looked away from him. She expected it to be Wednesday, but when she saw who it was, she nearly fell over into to fountain, and would have, had she not grabbed onto his shirt, and he held onto her.

Friday felt a slight comfort when Lilly caressed his cheek. When she pulled him closer, he licked his lips, when she kissed him, he felt like someone else was taking control of his body. Lilly likes me! She likes me!...

Lilly and Friday...He felt like a different person. Friday's arms were wrapped around Lilly's waist and he pulled her ever so closely. He didn't want the moment to stop. Lilly tried to pull away, but he didn't want to let her go. She got me to talk, she got me to trust, and I got to kiss her...All in one day. Friday too heard footsteps. Oh crap! Not now! In his mind, he saw who was coming their way...Brandon.

His older brother was coming this way, holding a watering can and, for some reason, wearing a kilt. Friday finally loosened his grip and focused on Brandon. Turn around...Turn around...

Brandon immediately stopped walking.

Turn around...Turn around...Turn around goddammit!!!!!...

Brandon turned around and went back to the mansion. Friday turned to Lilly and sighed, "Do you want to know why I hadn't spoke earlier?"

Friday finally let go of Lilly, and she made her space. She saw Friday looking at Brandon, but she refused to. Firstly, because if she did, she probably would have cracked up. Secondly, because she was too embarrassed. She had only just met Friday, and before she knew it, she was in his arms.. That wasn't supposed to be happening.

She took a glance at Friday, then sighed. He's cute, She thought, and a really good kisser. I actually think this one will continue with me, instead of just leading me on. But it was much to early to think about a...relationship. She liked him.. A lot, but it just didn't feel right.

She turned to Friday as Brandon went back into the mansion, then she looked into his eyes. If I tell him I want to slow down, it might hurt him, She thought, biting her lip, then she sighed. Fine, we'll go on, but if it gets too far, we need to talk, She thought angrily, mainly because she knew it was her desire to keep going with him, but she knew they should stop.

She noticed Friday was talking to her. "Yes," She replied quietly.

Before he could even speak again, Friday replayed what had just happened earlier. I kissed her, we fell silent, she kissed me...How fast things were moving frighten him, a little. Lilly probably expects more from me. I don't have much to give, and even if I did she wouldn't accept it. Am I right for Lilly?

He looked at Lilly, then at the fountain. Should I tell Lilly?...She has a right to know..."The reason why I never spoke until today is because I...ummm...w-w-witnessed my m-m-mum's d-death, when I was a b-baby." And Friday waited for any type of reaction from Lilly.

Everything seemed to fit. She looked at him sympathetically. "I'm sorry," She said quietly. "If her death caused you to stop speaking, then you must've really loved her. A lot. How old were you?" She asked curiously.

"Actually, Lilly, I never knew her," he answered. "I was only a month old when she died and the murder happened right beside my crib. Technically speaking, I was awake and saw the whole thing. Every year, dad asks me who killed mum, but I couldn't tell him because I never saw the murderer's face. She had her back turned the whole time."

She placed her hand on his arm. "I'm so sorry," She said quietly. "My mother's dead too, if it makes a difference." She looked into his eyes and saw a world of pain. Whatever their relationship came to, she would have to be ready for that.

His hair fell on his black eyes and he blow it out of the way. Maybe Lilly and I aren't so different after all...Friday gave her a small smile, looked at the skies and realized something.

"Oh my gosh!!!! We're late for dinner."

Lilly gasped when she entered the grand dining room. She faltered a bit, but kept up with Friday. "Your house is amazing!" She said for his ears only.

Sho knocked on the door, parchment in hand. Wednesday had asked him over before school started back up. Seeing as Lee was busy and his uncle was at work, he figured a visit would be good.

"Thanks," Friday said in her ears. He found a spot for Lilly and him to sit at and they walked towards it. Politely, he pulled a seat out for her and noticed everyone was looking directly at him. Oh no!...

"HE TALKS!!!" Brandon shouted.

Lilly ducked her head as she heard Brandon shout. She sat down, and looked at Friday as he sat. "Apparently, it's really rare to your family to see you speaking," She remarked.

"Dinner? Sure, I could go for some food," he said, following Wednesday down the dark hall.

It was pretty dark inside. Sort of like the house of The Munsters or something... but there was also a certain charm to it. The dark colors complimented each other nicely and the house had that sort of old world touch to it.

"What're we having?"

Lilly didn't know what she could say to that; all she did was smile. She looked at his face, and searched his heart. Did I really help Friday? She thought, Did I confuse him? Merlin, I hope everything I did was for the better.

She didn't know, but worry was etched across her face.

Wednesday leaded her friend to the grand dining hall. Boy, we're going to have fun..."We're having Cornish hens, with a side of white rice, fruit salad, and for dessert we'll have chocolate cake."
