Alex looked at Talen, shock clearly showing on her face. She didn't even refuse as Talen pulled her back to the crib and called for the knight bus. She looked back at the manor before stepping onto the bus, was that what his father meant by what her own fate was? She sat down on one of the chairs, clearly in her own thoughts. She looked at the manor for one last time before the bus pulled off, she knew that she was leaving the only place where she could get answers. She looked up at Talen for a minute before looking down at the floor, not knowing what to say. "My fate, my fate that was meant to happen." She said in a whisper to herself.

" Alex....What my dad said ...he's not the kind to make threats.." talen looked at the floor he knew he needed to tell her jsut to keep her safe but he didnt know how " hey my dad is a deatheater wasnt smeting you could just casually toss out to someone

Alex looked up at Talen, confusion and worry on her face. "Why...Why did he do what he did, how does he know me and my father, Talen, he's the only one I know with answers and I can't even ask him." She said before looking back at the floor, tears starting to roll down her face, was this how it was going to be, was her life always going to be full of unanswered questions? "Talen, my...my father did kill my mother, Reese found out and told me before I left the manor." She said quietly. "But why did he, and when you're father talked about my fate, was my father going to kill me too?" She asked, mostly to herself than to Talen.

" i dont know Alex but if he knows your dad the way i think he does. ..."Talen said He looked at her when she askedher next question." If he's like my father it's very possible.

Alex felt her tears come down her cheeks faster when Talen spoke. She pulled her legs up her her, crying quietly into her jeans. "Then why didn't he?" She asked, her voice muffled from her jeans. She felt like she was in a nightmare, a nightmare that she would never wake up from.

Talen put his arm around her ." Alex... you don't mean that?I know it's been hard but if he had done that and suceeded he would have gotten away with your Mum's murder and... yours."

Derek looked at the clock. shouldbe any time now

Alex looked up at Talen, she never thought of it like that. "I just want to know why he killed my mother, but didn't kill me. I was in the room after he did, I just don't understand." She told him. "Even though I found out who killed her, I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere about my mysterious past, there are more questions about it then before." She added before laying her head back onto her lap. "He's going to pay though."

Talen looked at the floor. " I'm sorry Alex." He said rubbing her back ina suportive manner. He looked up. as the bus came to a sudden and wreckless stop. " Come on Alex.. we're home." he stood and held his hand out to her

Alex looked up and saw that they were indeed at Talen and James' place. She took Talens hand and got up off the chair. Once she got up, she felt a little dizzy, too many things were going through her mind and it was starting to give her a headache. She walked off the bus, not saying a word and walked up to the door and entered the cabin. She looked at the floor, not wanting everyone to see her red eyes, or her face, especially, for some reason, Derek.

Derek looked up fromthe checkers game as the door opened and Alex walked in. not ong followedby Talen and his trunk. talen wasnt muchin temood to talk anymore gripping te handleof his trunk he went into his room and closed the door.

Alex looked up when she heard Talen's door close, why were things like this, why did this happen? "I shouldn't have went." She said to herself and sat down on the sofa, not looking at anyone and just thought about what had happened at the Randall Manor.

James could tell as soon as they entered something had happened. he watched talen go to his room and alex sit down on the sofa. " you okay Alex?" he asked hving noticed that she had been crying.

Alex looked up when she heard James say her name and felt her shake her head no. "You're father knows who I am." She told him, looking at James, Reese and Derek.

remembering what Talen had told him earlier that evening he didn'thaveto ask anything elseto have an idea of what happened. " And you want answers.... trust me I understand that but mine and talen's father is not the safestplace to get information like that." James said the only place for is well...facing your father. but you dont hav to do it alone.

Alex nodded and looked down at the floor when he told her his father wasn't the safest person to get info from. She looked back up at him, shocked that he would tell her to face her own father. "James, my father killed my mother, and if Talen and I are right, he...He was going to kill me too." She said quietly looking back down at the floor.

" Alex. I'm not sayng face hiim alone but he'sthe onlyone with the answers you need toget on withyour life. you deseve the truth from him. the loweredhis voice his tone turning from supportiveto deathly serious. " Alex you already know that our father knows him, I dont know if talen told you about our dad but either way. If the two of you are right and he was suppose to have killed you to. By now THEY know your alive and your live is endanger. Do you understand what I'm saying to you they arent the kind of people to give up easily."

Alex looked up at James, fear feeling her insides. "But, who are they James, and why do they want me dead?" She asked him, she was sure she hadn't done anything too bad for people to want to come after her and kill her. She looked at Reese, even after what the two of them did at school, not one of those people wanted her dead.

james looked around the room " We'll talk about that another time ok? just try and understand peopledont always have a reason for doing the things they do and these people willkilljust becasue you have muggle blood to them thats reason enough." James said " I'm gonning to go and seebout talen "your sae here so dont worry ok."

Alex nodded, still thinking about James' words. They would kill her just because she has muggle blood, well that did explain why their father said what he said. "Thanks James." She said softly as she pulled her legs up to her and layed her head on them. For once in her life she wished she wasn't a half blood but a pureblood.

James stood up and patted her shoulder. " you'll be okay i promise." james said looking at her breifly before he headed towards Talens room. he knocked, then enter. ' hey Ty.. you alright?" he asked.
Talen shook his head no.

Alex watched as James left and looked at Reese and Derek. "I'm sorry you guys, I think I liked it better when I didn't know my father killed her." She said softly, remembering how when she started school she felt free, but now, she felt like she was in danger, and it scared her more than anything.

" What happened?" james asked.

" it was fine at first mum was a bit harsh, but you know how she is." Talen said. " I got packed with out a problem we were gonna floo back. but dad. He was on that Expectations high horse."
jamesnodded he understanding what his brother meant. " When i told him Alex last name he went ballistic. ..." talen looked at the floor. " if anything would have happened to her it would have been all my fault for letting her come along in the first place."
" Ty, nothing happened tho." james said tryng to make his bother not feel guilty.
' NOTHNG Happened! JAMES you weren't there Our father ulledhis wand on me and her. OUR FATHER James. She could have gotten Killed When she realized he knew her father.... I.. I. I had to Jinx her to keep her from going back... " he inhaled deeply tryng to keep his composure. " That's why you never came back wasn't it... He's a monster.. He wants me to be like him...."

Alex looked up when she heard Talen's yells. She felt tears running down her face again, why was this happening to her. She burried her head back into her jeans, not wanting Derek or Reese to see her crying.
