Rian put her arm down, and tried to smile.
"The library is my sanctuary." she told Tia. She ran her sleeve across her eyes again.
"Oh, it's nothing." she said. She didnt want to dump all her feelings onto Tia. Then without meaning to, she opened her big mouth and it all fell out:
"My best friend that I met at The Whomping Willow left the wizarding world. For good. She was my first real friend at Hogwarts, and to me we were like sisters. She completely...threw away all her magic, adn went to america to be a muggle." Rian explained. She realized she had given Tia her whole sad story, and her face turned red. So far, no real tears. She hoped it would stay that way. | |
