As you walk along the street just outside of London, you come across a gate with a crest saying MM. You look up the long driveway and she a two story manor, this manor belongs to the Morgans.

The driveway turns into a circle once it reaches the front of the manor. Inside the circle is a decent sized fountain with a swan in the center. The large marble stairs leads to a large oak door.

Once inside the manor, everything is decorated in a mixture of bright and dark colors. The hall is lined with photographs of a man with his parents, his brothers and sisters, and other people in his family, you can not tell that he was married and has a daughter. At the end of the hall is a spiraling staircase leading up to the second floor and to the many bedrooms.

There are several rooms on the first floor, all of which has exquisite furnature. You can't seem to find a single thing in the manor that would be cheap, or even muggle inventions in the house. You could never tell that the mother of the family was inded a muggle, unless you head upstairs to the girls bedroom.

Alex's bedroom is done in pretty much dark green, her way of saying she's a Slytherin no matter what people say or think. When you first step into the room, not a single muggle invention is in site, however, you walk into her walk in closet and you can find some of her muggle things from when she was little and even a skateboard her friend had lent her so she could learn to skate. All of which are being hidden from her father.

There was a happy family, a wife, a husband, and an 8 year old girl living in the Morgan Manor. You could tell just by walking into the hall that this family was the family everyone wished to be apart of, but there were some drawbacks to the family. Alexandra Morgan was disowned by her father's family before she was even born due to the fact that she was a half blood. She didn't care much about that certain situation, having her mother who was a muggle and her father who was a pureblood beside her was more than a perfect life to her, however, all that had changed in just a day. This is the story of her mother's death!

Alexandra, or how she likes to be called Alex, was in her room reading Hogwarts, A History. She kept thinking about how in just three small years she would finally be able to go to the famous school. She looked up around her room, it was collored in the Slytherin house colors of green and silver, the house she wanted to be sorted into the most. She thought that maybe if she proved she was a Slytherin then her family would finally be able to accept her. Today, however she didn't care much for her family problems, today, April 13th, was her birthday. She half smiled to herself and went back to her read, waiting for her mother's usual call for supper. Little did she know, that call wasn't going to come that day.

Mr. Morgan walked up the marble stairs leading into the house, he had just been giving an order by his...boss. He stopped with his hand on the door handle, how in the world was he going to pull off this mission? He opened the door slowly, hoping his wife and daughter just decided to pack up and leave and were not home, especially since today was his daughters birthday.

Mr. Morgan looked at his wife with sad eyes before pulling out his wand. "I'm sorry dear, but my master found out about you and Alex. I really do love you, remember that." He told her before performing the killing curse on his own wife.

ooc: Have Mrs. Morgan scream, that is what brought Alex downstairs.

ooc: You might want to change your name from Mrs. Carter to Mrs. Morgan, I totally didn't realize until now, lol.

Mr. Morgan's arm fell to his side, his hand still grasping his wand. He looked at his wife now lying on the floor, he was upset by this, he didn't want to kill her, but he had no choice, she was going to end up dead anyway.

A scream carried up to Alex's bedroom, she reconized the voice, it was her mother. Putting the book down Alex got up from her bed and ran down the stairs and into the sitting room where the scream came from. She froze in the doorway, staring at her mother's lifeless body. "Mother?" She asked softly, walking slowly into the room. She didn't even realize her father was in there. When her mother didn't answer her, Alex ran and knelt down near her, tears starting to form in her eyes. "Mum, please wake up, please!" She shouted to her, wanting her mother to wake up and say surprise or something. "Mum, please, I don't like this, wake up."

"She's not going to wake up sweetie." Mr. Morgan told his daughter, pointing his wand at her. After a minute he lowered his wand, shook his head and placed it inside his robe pocket, there was no way he was going to be able to kill his own daughter. "Alex, got back up to your room, I'll explain to you later why your mother won't wake." He told her and pried Alex from her mother's body. He watched as his daughter, his birthday girl walked sadly up the stairs. He turned back to his wife and apologized one last time to her before apparaiting to the ministry to tell them his wife have been murdered.

Three years later!

Mr. Morgan sat in the sitting room reading the Daily Prophet. He knew he had a meeting later on that day and of course Alex would have to leave, no one should know she's still alive. He even wanted to stop her from going to Hogwarts, but the little brat wouldn't listen to him, she never does.

Alex looked around her room, she was waiting for her father to call her for something, like he always did. She hated it here, she wanted to leave as soon as possible. She wondered how L.J., Kaila, and Reese were doing, if only she would be able to go see them. She walked over to her closet and pulled up the floor boards, she had created a secret area to put her muggle things after her mother had died since her father wanted her to get rid of them all. She even managed to save some of her mothers old things that she had held dearly to her. One of those things was a picture locket that Alex always wore under her shirt. She pulled out a family album and started looking at the pictures of when her mother was young up to Alex's first birthday.

Mr. Morgan stared at the girl. "You mean that lousy good for nothing half blood actually has a friend?" He sneered at the girl. "What do you want with her?"

Alex heard her father open the door downstairs and quickly put the photo album in the secret area and closed her closet door. As soon as she did she heard her name and the word friend, coming from a very familiar voice. She opened the door and tiptoed to the top of the stairs and saw Reese at the door with her father. oh no. She thought to herself, making sure she was out of sight.

Mr. Morgan's eyes grew wide. "Excuse me young lady? I believe you need to show me some respect!" Mr. Morgan told the girl. "And becasue of that, you may not see Alexandra!"


Alex had enough, her father was point blank being rude to her sister. She walked back to her room, put on her black cloak and climbed out her window. She climbed down the trellis and tiptoed to the corner of the house, waiting for her father to close the door so he won't she she had snuck out...again.

Mr. Morgan gave a last glance at the girl before slamming the door shut. He walked back to the sitting, mumbling under his breath about disrespectful children.

Alex peered around the corner and saw her father slam the door shut on Reese. She stepped out from the side of the manor with her hood up and stepped up beside Reese. "I'm so sorry about that." She apologized quietly, not wanting her father to hear her.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." Alex told her sister. "I just can't have my father see me out here." She said sitting down on the marble steps. "I'm sorry about the way he treated you, he is a nasty jerk."

Alex looked up at Reese and smiled. "Anything, please." She said getting up from the steps. "Where should we go, I don't know much about the neighborhood."
