Egypt was so nervous that she was sitting in a chair with her head between her legs. She didn't know why she was nervous.


Tomasina looked over at her sister. "Do you need a cheering charm?" She asked her as she checked out flawless she looked with her make up on.

"I..I'm go..going to be f...f..fine." Egypt breathing as her face got hot. "What if he doesn't show?" She asked.

"After the hell mom put him through at the trust signing?" Tommy cried as she lifted up her dress to kneel at her sister's feet. She helped her strap on her glass heels. "He loves you more than air. Stop worrying. You are going to ruin your make-up and the twins will be after my head." She helped Egypt stand so they could get her into her dress. Tommy thought the twins out did themselves with this dress. She didn't think India's dress was the pretty.

Egypt looked up at herself int he mirror once all the buttons were done up. She wanted to cry at how beautiful she looked. Her heart was bursting to see what Nathan thought of her in her dress. "How do I look?" She asked turning around to look at her sister.


"In all the world there has never been a lovelier bride Egypt. Nathan is going to faint when he sees you coming down that isle." She told her big sister.

Egypt walked over and hugged her sister. They had been there a lot through the years, but there wasn't another sister she wanted as her maid of honor than Tomasina.

Erin walked in dressed in a bridesmaid's gown. She walked up to Egypt and hugged her. "You look beautiful Egypt!" She smiled.

Monica knocked on the door bearing a gift wrapped in silver.

Monica finally just walked in. She knew James should be arriving shortly and if she wasn't mistaken Professor and Mrs. Dumont were here somewhere.

James walked into the wedding, bearing two invitations in his pocket. One from Emily, and one from Monica for a date. He looked around and grinned as he saw Monica. He thought for a moment. Lets try something new...he thought, as he walked behind her. Instead of covering her eyes, he hid behind a table and said. "Monica..." in voice as a he was looking for her. Then when she looked behind her, he would pop up in front of her...

Apha, after a hectic start to the day, managed to arrive at Nathan and Egypt's wedding, her invitation in the bag she'd barely managed to remember. As she brushed her long hair, she looked around her. She didn't recognise anyone yet, and she gathered Nathan and his bride were in their seperate tents, getting ready. She'd been to enough weddings before to know how that worked.

With a slight sigh at the thought - weddings weren't exactly her favourite things, but she'd come as Nathan was a colleague of hers - she stood awkwardly, unsure as of what to do.

A little way from the entrance to the wedding three figures stood, in convosation, two of which where the spitting image of each other, the third and the youngest looked nothing like the other two.

" you should come in Dad, Emily said you could , You Knew Nathan " Dan frowned up at his father , from what his Father had told him theyd spoken breifly in the canteen at the ministry, days before Dmitry Sychev had left the English misitry to return to a post for the Russian ministry.

Dmitry wore a travelling cloak fastened up to his neck he was the older version of Dan, the only difference was the faint cut on Dans cheek. Dmitry glanced ahead at the place where the wedding was to be held, his youngest son at his side was kicking at the ground, he frowned at Alexandr before adressing Dan " i barely knew the man, it would be intrusive" He looked down at Alexandr again once more " Besides, what would Alex do "

At the sound of his voice the youngest of the three piped up " im 8 years old ! " he said impatiently " i can do things by myself " Alexandr looked nothing like his father or his older brother, his hair was darker, and his jaw more refined. " Weddings are for stupid people ! " He glared at his Brother " Hes only going because his girlfriend invited him " A grin found its way onto Alexandrs small face " Dannys got a girlfriend , Dannys got a girlfriend " he mocked , stupid Dan

Before Dan could speak Dimitry silenced both his sons with a stern look. " No, ill go home with Alex " He concluded, he wasnt dressed for the occasion either. Dimitry was keen on going as soon as possible, Hes sons always argued these days, Alex was at that age.

Dan didnt really take in what his Father had said he was eyeing his irratating younger brother, wondering the best way to somehow legally turn him into a toad " Alex .... shut up, everybody knows youll be a Hufflepuff and the laughing stock of the family " He had given up telling Alex that Ems wasnt his girlfriend, Alex tried to respond but Dan talked over him " Ill see you later then Dad " He didnt know when he would actually see them, probably when he went home for Christmas. " Bye Hufflepuff " he said in the direction of Alexandr as he turned away and took a few steps towards the place where the wedding was taking place. He glanced over his shoulder to see his Father and Brother twist and dissapear into mid air.

He blinked at the spot for a while before pulling an invite from the insides of his robes. Dan was dressed in standard black and white dress robes, he hoped he handt over done it.

Egypt and Tomasina both turned when the door on the tent opened. Everyone was off in other rooms getting ready. She looked up when Erin gave her a hug. "Thank you." She said giving her a hug. She looked over at her sisters getting their make up retouched and fixing their hair. It was almost time for the wedding to start.

Tommy poked her head out the door to see Monica standing there. "Hey," She stepped out quickly, she didn't want anyone to get a glimpse of the bride. Egypt wanted her dress and everything to be a surprise for everyone. Especially Nathan. "You didn't have to bring them a gift." She told Monica as she saw the box in her hand. She was happy that her friend had wanted to get her sister a gift even though she had never met her. Tommy looked over and saw a few people sitting down already. She certainly was going to have a big huge wedding back in Accra of course. She couldn't understand this small wedding thing that Egypt and Nathan wanted to do. Yet as she looked out over the water it was still going to be a beautiful ceremony.

Ireland was busy working on Kenya's hair. She had her wand in one hand and some bobby pins in another hand. "Sit still." She commanded her. She looked over as her twin was helping China with her hair. It was crazy that out of 12 sisters they were the only ones who knew how to do hair.

Jordan was pacing up and down the room. She wasn't comfortable in dresses. She was a jeans and t-shirt sort of girl. "Can we please get a bloody move on?" She asked to no one in particular.


"Oh come off it Jordan. Wearing a dress for a few hours for your baby sisters wedding is not going to kill you." Asia said importantly she gave her a look daring her to say something back. She was the oldest and there for she was going to direct traffic here. "Everyone please walk past me so I can check you before you walk down the isle. There are only 4 Greenwood brothers. So everyone after Zaire will have to walk down in pairs." She instructed reading off a piece of parchment. "Mother of course is going to make a speech welcoming everyone to the wedding, thanking all the other Ministers of Magic, I think the Headmistress from Hogwarts is coming. I am not too sure about that though, so mom will welcome her and her family as well. After that we will go into there the ceremony. Do no fidget in your dresses or shift your weight a lot. Keep smiling and keep your head turned toward the bride and the groom." She told her sisters. As the oldest it was her job to make sure her baby sister had the best wedding she could. Even if she was having in this beastly country where Asia was freezing her knickers off.

Nairobi sat and listened to her older sister who thought the sun shone out of her backside. She rolled her eyes and she went back to zipping herself up in her dress. "We got it Asia, this isn't the first Riddle wedding we have gone to." She told Asia as a few of her sisters snickered. Ni and Australia were the only two who stood up to Asia. Asia looked over and glared at her sister not wanting to get into a fight before they were supposed to start the wedding.

Egypt looked up as Nairobi started in on Asia. She had to smile about it too. She was glad her sisters could be so calm on her wedding even if she was totally freaking out. She was sitting in her chair as Africa reapplied her make up after she had smudged it. She was ready to go all she had to do is get her veil ready. "Has anyone seen dad?" She asked. He was walking her down the aisle.

Tommy had walked back into the tent. She caught the last part of Asia's speech. Honestly that girl needed to get a job and maybe she wouldn't need to boss around her little sister.

Emily was on her way over to the Bride's Tent to get changed into her bridesmaid's dress and see if she could assist with anything when she spotted a few people just waiting around. Where in bloody hell were the ushers!? Merlin! You just can't get the staff these days.

She wandered up to what she assumed was a ministry worker. “Hello.” she said politely. “We're not having formal seating arrangements so just go where you fancy. Help yourself to champagne from the table over there.” She pointed at the long white table with filled crystal champagne flutes. Also on the table was a selection of canapés and chocolate covered strawberries. If it hadn't been for having to get ready herself, those strawberries would most likely all be gone by now. She smiled sweetly at the woman and turned back towards the Bride's area... spotting...


...Dan out of the corner of her eye. She grinned at the boy, running up to him to give him a big hug. “Glad you could make it Sychev.” she said. “You know your dad and brother could have stayed.” she told him looking him up and down. “You look very smart.” She'd never seen Dan in anything other than his Slytherin robes.

The Groom's Tent

“What's taking him so long?” Liam demanded. “He was all ready apart from getting changed.”

Ewan shrugged. “Nathan? You alright mate?” he called.

....No reply...

“Nathan?”

...Nothing...

“NATHAN! You idiot!”

Nada, zipo, zilch!

Dammit!” Liam pulled back the curtain to the dressing area and frowned, turning back to Ewan. “He- he's GONE!”

Dun dun dunnnnnnn

“Crap.” Ewan muttered as if he thought something like this might happen. “Maybe he's just gone to mingle with the guests.” he offered.

Liam nodded. “I'll go see if I can see him out there.” Riiiiight. The bag of nerves had gone to mingle. Nathan may be the social type but not when he was in that sort of state. Reluctantly, Liam made his way out of the tent into the guest area to go in search of his eldest brother.

Ewan decided to wait where he was should the man decide to return any time soon.

Apha was somewhat startled when a girl addressed her, and she immediately assumed it to be a relative of Nathan or Egypt, judging by her words. She smiled at the girl before she ran off, turning to the table she'd pointed at. Apha wasn't one for drinking; she hadn't had a proper drink in years.

One can't hurt, can it? she thought to herself , before shaking her head as she made her resolve not to have any again. Smoothing down to deep green dress she was wearing, she glanced at the chairs, before deciding to wait to see if Susanna would be able to show up.

If she didn't show up in five minutes, Apha would assume she wasn't coming. She scratched absently at her neck as she began to wait.

Almost straight after he had walked in Dan was nearly nocked over by the force of Ems hug, he smiled slightly still glancing around at the area. He returned the hug. " So am i, never been to a wedding before " . He glanced back to the spot where hes Father and Brother had dissapeared as they where mentioned " no, the less i see of Alex the better " he said with a slight small " and lets be honest do you want an 8 year old Sychev running around the place singing Dannys got a girlfriend " She wouldnt know what the hell that was about, and Dan didnt particularly want to explain it.

As she commented on his appearence he flushed slightly but maintained a grin. " i thought i might be over doing it " he said glancing around at the other guests " but Dad seem to think it best to dress up " . He continued to survey the area and spotted two tents, he guessed thats where the brdie and groom where, he glanced back down at Ems with a smile " hows things ?" He hadnt seen her in what seemed like ages.

“Me neither.” she shrugged. “Should be interesting. You know the bride has eleven sisters?” She raised her eyebrows as if to say 'and I thought I had it bad with five brothers.' “...But sisters are easier to cope with.” She added. She laughed at his words but didn't really know what he was on about. “Oh, is Kate coming then?” she asked. Pffft! Silly little hippy could have replied to the invitation at least. Nathan also knew Kate's cousin who worked at the Ministry in the Magical Creatures Department... he used to have a bit of a crush on her before Egypt came along.

“Nah, not overdone.” She said eyeing the other guests, spotting another man from the Ministry. She'd have to go and show him where the drinks and nibbles were in a minute. Where the bloody hell were the rest of her brothers!? She needed to go and get changed dammit. Boys! Totally useless. “I think Nathan's going to be the most casual person here.” she chuckled. Insisting on wearing a white suit with NO shoes! But he did have a point that they were in fact on a beach.

She frowned slightly as he asked how it was going. “Well the ushers haven't bothered to show yet; it's a right bugger keeping the food nice – we had to cast charms around it to keep the flies and sand off it.” She rolled her eyes. Only Nathan would come up with the genius plan of getting married on a beach.... in Cold Bonny Scotland where the midges flocked in abundance. “The groom's only just got here.” She leaned forward and whispered to Dan. “And he's having a right panic on.” She leant back again and gave him a sarcastic smile. “Apart from that, just dandy.”

“So, how's Dan?” she asked him eyeing his robes again.

Dan continued to gaze around the beach, strangley enough it hadnt actually registered that they were on a beach, he thought to himself that the Anti-Muggle charms on the place must be strong. " Kate ?" he said with a confused look, then it hit him " oh , oh no Alex doesnt know about her, he means ... " he glanced at Ems and smiled slightly " never mind, hes at that annoying age " understatement of the century right there " you know hell be in first year when youre in seventh ?"

He then repeated in his head what Ems had asked, she expected Katelyn to be here " You invited Katelyn then ?" he said with a glance around at the entrance, he was pretty sure that she wouldnt show, he was beggining to give up on seeing her this year. Now wasnt the time to be thinking about the mysterious whereabouts of Kate " must be stressfull for you " he said sympathetically, by the sounds of it Ems was doing alot of the work around here.

He eyed the general area again and then realised something " this is the first time ive been to Scotland " he said aloud, he thought on this for a moment before adressing an earlier issue that popped into his mind " the charms around the place must be strong " it wasnt exactly impossible that local Muggles would fancy a walk along the beach, one that would soon be packed with witches and wizards.

He caughed her eyeing his robes, by the looks of things he was making a good impression, well he hoped so anyway... it didnt look like Ems was giving his robes a bad look. He shrugged at her question " schools a bit crap really " but then again he was sure Ems knew that.

Lola Adams appeared at the ceremony with a soft pop. Still, after all these years, was not keen on apparating. It made her feel uncomfortable. She made her that her dress and hair hadn't been messed up from the trip. Smoothing out her gold silk knee length dress with floral detailing, she had a look around. She was relieved to see she was not late, her hair and makeup took longer to do than she anticipated, and then she almost forgot the gift.

A beautifully wrapped parcel was unceremoniously tucked under Lola's arm. She never knew what to get for such occasions, she decided on a nice tea set, gift receipt included, just in case. She gazed around for a place to drop it off. She looked sadly beside her, knowing she had come alone. Going to weddings without a date was so tragic, but what could she do? She ambled over to a small table to lean up against. Her high heels were just starting to bother her, but she would survive. The strappy, dark gold shoes worked with her lighter dress and accessories. While
