Erin O'Connor walked in the door from work. She threw her keys on the counter and sat down on the couch, worried about her Niece and Nephew as she hasn't heard from them in some time.

Josh looked at the house as it looked pretty nice. nicer then his flat at least. Of course he needed to shrink it some. He stuffed the piece of paper into his pocket as he then knocked on the door. He looked around as he waited.

Erin answered the door. She saw a good looking young man standing there and recognized him immediately from Monica's description. "Hello Josh, why don't you come in?" She held the door open for him.

Josh looked at her a bit strangely as she knew who he was. he wasnt expected and yet she still knew. " um... Thanks." he said as he walked in.He totally forgot to say hi." Oh sorry. "No, I just simply recognized you from Monica's description." Erin smiled. "So what can I do for you?" Erin asked indicating that he should sit. "Can I get you a drink or something?" She asked the boy kindly.

Josh smiled at her as he then moved to sit down." Um... do you have root beer?" he asked her. He was a pure blood boy, but he fancied muggle things. Like his ipod. Syd, paperwork in hand, knocked on Erin's door. She had owled the office, asking him to bring over a few things she had left on her desk and being the ever diligent worker, he was in the office still and could do just that. Though it seemed that she was also doing her fair share of at home work due to the amount of files Syd was carrying...

Erin listened to Josh and began to silently cry as she heard what was happening at Hogwarts. Hearing a knock on the door she said softly. "Excuse me for a minute Josh" Erin said softly, wiping a stray tear from her eyes as she went to answer the door, "Opening the door she saw Syd standing theree. "Oh boy am I glad to see you." Erin hugged her boss. "You need to come in, and hear what I've just heard." Erin said, taking the files and sitting them next to her laptop.

Josh nodded as he watched her leave the area and answer the door. she seemed to know the fella as he then went back to his drink. Candy....and only at hogwarts.

Syd was a bit taken aback when he was hugged. That was not something he was used to or necessarily prepared for. He waited until she let go to hand her the files and raise his eyebrow.

"Is somethin' wrong, Miss O'Connor?" he asked, forgetting the first name basis.

He wasn't a very casual person a lot of the time...

"Josh I would like you to meet my boss and the head of the Magical law enforcement departmet at the Ministry. Mr. Wordsmith. Syd, this is Josh Moonson, he's a very special friend of my Niece Monica." Erin introduced them.

Josh heard his name as he looked up. He was sorta zoning out of it and into his own thoughts." Oh..." he said as he then jumped out of his chair and walked over to the the two. He stuck his hand out and smiled at him." Hello mr. Wordsmith." he said smiling at him." pleasure to meet you."

Syd shook the boys hand and gave him his odd, slightly off-putting smile. He seemed like a good kid... though he had been fooled before in court.

"Nice to meet you, son. What's this I hear about transformations at Hogwarts?" he said, turning his gaze back to Erin.

Erin stood, pacing behind Syd. "I'm not sure Syd, I'm just hearing about it now, but apparrently several students have become animals and are now missing." Erin began to cry again, silently.

Syd noticed Erin start to cry. This was certainly not good. He had made people cry in court before... but they were guilty of something. This was far too different.

"Miss... uh... Erin, everything is goin' to be just fine. I'm sure the school will send us a report soon and we'll get our people on the case," he said, clasping his hands together.

He was horrible at this.

"I hope so Syd, cause when we do I want in on the bust. My niece Monica is like a daughter to me And my Nephew Excelsior a son, I raised them both for a time after my sister died." Erin explained, as the tears fell. She wanted her babies to be safe. "Yes, anything." Erin said softly to Monica's friend.
