Alex sighed, he was dressed in black head to toe, he sighed as her rearranged his hat, and knocked on the door. He had no idea why he was in invited in the first place. He was nothing ordinary, he sighed, honestly he would probably sit in the corner with a drink of coke and mope for the whole party and be a loner.

Maya was watching the action around her in interest, fiddling with a lock of her now pure blonde hair, until the door sounded again. Agie was outside so she decided she might as well answer the door. She walked lightly to the front door (it wasn't too hard to locate the door, seeing as it was beautiful, glass, french doors) and opened it - and immediately regretted dressing in white.

There stood Alex, in all his emo glory, dressed in black from head to toe. Maya blinked a little while, stunned, also feeling a bit overdressed. "Erm - yeah - Uh, come in... Agie's outside with I think Josh..." She mumbled, pulling him in a little by his hand.

Alex's head shot up, his eyes shining in the shade as he sees Maya. He looked her in white... 'what a perfect match' he thought, then regretted it. "Umm, thanks." He said in a harsh dry voice. He was pulled by his hand a little, and he slightly smiled with the another thought...she has smooth hands. "How are you?" He asked.

Maya suppressed a sigh. I should have worn the grey skinny jeans. Oh my god. "I'm fine. Tired though... I had a press conference, then I had to attend the dancer's auditions." she said, sighing lightly to express the fact that she had not enjoyed it at all.

"What about you?" She asked. His hand is warm... She thought to herself, before shaking the thought out from her head.

"Ouch." He repiled, he felt sorry for her, he smiled, "I have... been well, thank you." He kept held her hand just because he loved the softness and feeling the small beat of her heart though it. He took of his hat with his other hand and placed it on the stand.

Maya could tell Alex was actually sorry for her. That was definately a first for Alex, seeing as he was usually numb. He wasn't letting go of her hand and her heart beat was heightening slighly. That would be embarassing. Ugh... She supressed a sigh.

"Define... 'Well'." Maya asked gently, her voice the slightest whisper, although it carried a little bit in the hallway.

Alex knew Maya despised him, he didn't know why he was bothering, he felt her heart beat heighten and let go, he'd rather save the embarrassment for later. "Umm, well, let me see, good? happy? fine?" Alex questioned her.

Maya did not know why she was so moody sometimes. Especially when it was the first time she was talking to that person. It wasn't that she despised them on first sight, it was usually that she was just not in the mood to talk to people right then and there. She sighed. "You don't have to let go. You might as well start being my personal gloves." She joked lightly, taking his hand again. Definately warm. Her heart beat accelerated again and she sighed lightly.

"You aren't going to tell me what you did? What a shame. Tsk tsk." Maya mock-scolded, a smile playing around her lips.

He didn't react strangely to her taking his hand back, he only smiled and nodded. He enjoying holding her hand, way too much.

"What I did? I dont understand." He frowned at himself, he had hoped for some time alone, for he had been used to the company of him, himself and Alex.

Maya rolled her eyes at Alex's obvious cluelessness. "I mean, what did you do before you came here. I dunno." She shrugged. A slight breeze fell over and Maya shivered slightly - It was definately cold around here. She'd have to remind herself that it wasn't exactly Los Angeles around here.

Maya shuffled her feet slightly, not sure what to do now. "So, how's your revenge going along?" She asked - she still rememberd their conversation before leaving the train station. A small smirk played on her lips.

Alex closed the subject by saying, "Nothing much." He sighed, he felt like yawning but it was rude to yaw so he clamped his mouth shut in hope he would not yawn.

Alex wasn't the best when it came to memory skills. He was a forgetful person so he just raised an eyebrow in hope she would remind him

"Sure." Maya replied tartly, rolling her eyes. Whateverrrr. He was so clueless sometimes it wasn't even funny. He looked sleepy - did he just clamp his jaw shut? She frowned slightly, annoyed by his action a little. She was picky like that.

"Oh, forget it." Maya sighed, annoyed now. He wasn't much for remembering what he said before. She sighed annoyedly, shuffling her feet again. What next... Unconsiously, she twined her fingers around his, holding it tightly.

Christian and Lyra decided that using floo was the best alternative to get to the Brandywine place. She would have rather done this anyway just in case it rained on them to or from the party. She was not in the mood to get wet and wanted to look her best just because.

In her blue jean skirt and a blue button down shirt that had a small flare at the bottom, she stepped into the fireplace with the green powder in her hand. "See you there," she winked at Christian, more than glad that he was attending the party with her. He had been extremely sweet and patient with her since they left the train station that day. But yet, there was something different about him. He was the same Christian she always knew and he did look really nice tonight in his attire. She blinked her eyes and shook her head as she realized she had been staring at him.

"Oh!" she giggled and blushed slightly. "Brandywine house," she spoke as she threw the powder down and with a flash of green light, she was gone barreling her way through what seemed like a tunnel. She always hated that pulling sensation in the pit of her stomach but, it didn't take long before she landed with a thud in the middle of the fireplace at Kerry and Agie's house.

She stepped out, dusting herself off and fixing her hair. "Ah! Mirror," she exclaimed as she walked over and noticed a couple of black marks on her face and removed them. Her eyes scanned the room as she waited for Christian to arrive behind her.

Agie giggled, "Well don't tire yourself out too much, thinking can be hard for Slythies. And I think I'd be a natural. It would be easier than riding a broom, that's for sure." She laughed at his reaction to being called a dog. "Sure you're not, whatever helps you sleep at night...It is fun. Reminds me of Fex." Agie giggled. "Does there have to be a reason to party? Weeelll, I guess there is one. It is a goodbye party for me and Lyra... Now come on, you're walking too slow." Agie said, grabbing his hand and running towards the door.

Just as they got inside, the door rang again. Exactly how many people did she invite. She opened the door to find Zero. Another one of Lyra's old crushes. This should be fun, she smiled to herself. "Oh Hi Zero! Welcome to my house. Everyone is just starting to arrive now, so come in. There is food over there." She said pointing to a large collection of food and drinks.

Another persone. Agie giggled as Maya went to open the door. "Hi Alex!! Welcome!" Agie screamed out from across the room. "Thanks for getting the door Maya!"

Agie ran over to the door, thinking that she should get a house elf to start letting guest in. "OH Ari. Hiya!" Agie called, as she opened the door. "Come in! Kerry is upstairs...such a princess needs time to get ready." Agie giggled. "Maybe I should call her?..... KERRYYYYY, THE GUEST ARE STARTING TO ARRIVE. ARI IS HERE< GET YOUR BUTT DOWN!!" She screamed and turned back smiling to Ari. "There, that should work. She'll be coming down to tell me off now.

Alex stepped back a little and looked nervous. "Ummmm." He sighed, he was helpless.

He seemed more nervous so when he felt her fingers entwine around his hand, he gasped in shock. Then heard a shout from Agie and shouted back in confusement, "Bonjour!"

Christian smiled softly as he watched Lyra standing in the fireplace. His smile became an eyebrow as she just...stood there, looking at him. He blinked back her, still smiling softly. She had been doing this a few times in the past couple days, even more so when he was outside playing soccer. Not that he was complaining or anything, it was partially his fault; he had a tendency to play shirtless.

As soon as she was gone, he followed after her by entering the fireplace, throwing the powder down and poof! He was gone. It was merely seconds, before he was exiting another fireplace into the Brandywine's house. Brushing the ash off the shoulders of his blue collared shirt, he walked up behind Lyra and swung an arm around her shoulders. "Waiting long? Oh, you missed a spot," he chuckled and brushed a bit of ash off her shoulder.

Maya frowned slightly, but loosened a little bit later. Oh well, she might as well have relaxed. It was summer vacation, after all. Then she frowned again. Why did he gasp? She immediately did a head-to-toe of herself - until she found the problem. Her fingers had found a way to entwine themselves upon Alex's hand somehow without her realizing. Maya sighed. "Oh brother." She mumbled, not bothering to undo her fingers on his hand. He needed a little shock value if you asked her.

"What, is a little bit of PDA too much for you?" She teased lightly, a smirk playing on her lips. She was thinking on the inside though - Why do I do that? Why do I basically screw up almost every relationship I get by scaring the wits out of the guy?!

"Yeah... i dont think tiring myself out by thinking is a promblem." he told her as he smiled at her. was their a reason for a party...well in reality probably not. Agie and lyra seemed to him to be the sort of people that would host a part just to have a party. just to have fun. He wouldnt be surprised if something exploded near the end of the night. Fireworks would be prime, but who knew when it came to agie.next thing he knew he was being yanked by agie towards her house." agie.." he said as she pulled him along like her little (cute) puppy." can i talk to you for a second.." he asked as she then yelled for kerry right in his ear." owe... dont yell so loud." he complained and asked." privately."

Lyra smiled and moved her head slightly so Christian could remove what soot was left on her from the fireplace. "Why thank you, Mr. Miles," she giggled as she looked up to him and noticed the same. "Ah! You missed a spot as well." She licked her finger and began to rub his cheek to remove the black mark from his face. Oh this was too funny! It had to be the motherly instinct.

And then, she smelled sweet stuff. "I think I smell strawberries," she spoke up as her eyes wandered the room. "And I hear voices coming from....there. Come on," she spoke as her green eyes looked back to Christian. "That blue looks really nice on you. You should wear it more often." Well, maybe not playing soccer, she thought to herself as she wrinkled her nose and closed her eyes shut. Sigh! And with one swoop, she reached for Christian and tugged him towards the room where the voices were speaking...and the scent of strawberries.
