She looked at him over the top of her book, an eyebrow raised as if he was throwing out a challenge. "A weeks worth of gardening with me says otherwise." Christian grinned as he went over to kiss his mother's cheek goodbye, "You're on. Dibs on the blue gardening gloves." She frowned as he kissed her cheek, "you always get the blue ones..."

Christian handed Lyra a bit of the powder, "I'll get you a pretty blue pair for your birthday." She seemed satisfied after that.

Basically we go out into the field and get the wizards that the ministry cant see to find.. or we go and get them back. Lets say some auror is missing and they thing they are captured by some wizards. We are paid to go in and get them. Obviously their are some people who are not happy about what we do, but you cant expect everyone to be happy about it. We choose who we go after and sometimes we will do side jobs. We mostly work for the ministry in exchange for the public not knowing we exist." he looked at her." You dont know us and lets keep it that way. alright?"he asked her as he didnt want her to get into trouble. "it was started by my great grandfather and right now my older brother has control of it." he wasnt about to tell her that he had gone missing for awhile because of it. He was back and safe now.

"Agie since i was little i was trained by my dad to be an auror. Its all i've known. Fighting, spells...its all i know how to do." he told her as he gave her a small smile. he might as well tell her the rest." i dont know why im telling you this but here it is. My mom died when i was young and she was killed right in front of me. She was playing piano in this old mansion she was showing me when i was little. she started to get all panicked.. something like that. I cant quite remember all the details. Anyway she hid me in this.. room under the stairs. I came out to see her being murdered by some people. Next thing i know my dad comes in with some of the aurors from the ministry. I watched her die and their was nothing i could do." he looked down at her leg as he still blamed himself for her death a little. "anyway life wasnt the same after my mother left. My dad got more and more aggressive. two years ago i decided not to be an auror for my dad at the ministry but instead go and be full time as a ryder and do something muggle wise to cover it up.he was pretty furious. I was at school when i heard that Julian had died. Thats my second oldest brother." he informed her. he never really ever talked about his family." I went to his funeral and afterwards my dad took me aside and said he wanted to talk. i went with him and he used the crucio curse on me to make me join him." he sighed a that wasnt a fun event."See in my family the third son..which is me, is suppose to have natural talents for being an auror. He was upset that i wasnt going to be there at the ministry. If im out he cant keep an eye on me." he sighed as he looked down at her foot." he isnt the same person he use to be. He married a muggle lady and he doesnt even like muggles. He doesnt make sense anymore."

he had finished as he he put some tape to keep it wrapped. he looked up at her." Finished. Agie im use to pain and crashes like that...its really the least of my promblems. I've have people walk in and out of my life and never come back. I dont trust people much and my trust in people is getting lower and lower as time goes on." he was sure lyra might of pushed him off the edge. That was the second time someone had done that to him." Having people around that you care for is a bit rare for me..at least ones that stick around."he smiled a little at her. he moved to get some cleaning wipes as he opened them and cleaned her cuts. he put band aids over them once they were clean." I know everyone thinks my life is pretty easy so i try not to disappoint them. I dont really tell anyone about my family."

She listened to the story, and for some reason she didn't take it as a huge surprise, it was almost like it was obvious in some way, like she was numb with shock. Agie nodded through the story, "You can trust me, I don't know a thing." She said, referring to keeping it as a secret.

"Hey! No wonder why you always beat me in duels...you have the upper hand." She teased, trying to make light of the situation. Agie continued to sit through the story. She was concerned for Josh, but she have every bit of faith in him that he knows what he is doing, and that he is strong enough to protect himself. What Agie didn't expect to hear was the stories about his mum and his brother and his father. Silent tears started to form. "Oh Josh!' She sobbed, not being able to say anything else.

"Thanks.." She muttered with a small smile once he had fixed her up. Her tears were still coming and she didn't bother wiping them away.

Agie slid closer to Josh and grabbed his hand, "You can always trust me, I promise Josh. And I don't break my promises. I'll even do an umbreakable vow. You've got me, I'm like glue." She said. "Now let me fix that cut." Agie said, trying to stop the crying, but she still was. She lifted up his shirt and had a look. It was pretty deep and there was glass inside it. Agie took out some tweezers from the medical kit and slowly started to remove the pieces of glass.

it was then that he heard that she wanted to take the glass out. It had to be done.josh looked down at it since he hadnt really seen it. he was about to say he had worse, but as he looked at her..well that wasnt a good idea. She was worried...he smiled as he pushed some of her hair behind her ear as he told her." Just in case any of this goes wrong.." it was just a cut, but he was going for the humor." i love you." he told her as he looked at her for a few moments and then looked down at his side.

"Stop!" She smirked. "Nothing will go wrong...but for the record, ditto! I love you too." Agie smiled. She bit down on her lip, some of the glass was in pretty deep. Agie gave him a worried smile. She didn't want to hurt him, but the glass needed to be out. So on she went, digging out all the glass. Once it was once and her hand was covered in Josh's blood, she got out some tape and taped up the wound. It was the best she could do with what she had. "Sorry, not a very good job, but at least the glass is out."

Agie looked up to see Josh looking at her, she gave him a warm smile and brushed back her hair with her hand. She must look like a real mess, hair everywhere, puffy eyes, dirt and blood and scratches all over her face. Agie had finished with the cut, but she traced her hand lightly around the tape on the surrounding skin.

Josh smiled as she didnt fight him on this. Agie loved to get into trouble, but it was different from getting into actual live trouble.he felt her fingers against his skin as he stared at her still. part of him inside ached for more...but the other part didnt. his stomach was all weird again and he was confused yet again. Josh moved closer to agie as he put his hand against her cheek and moved to kiss her. he wasnt quite sure what he was doing, but he was doing something. he almost felt like someone else was controlling his body and he was just watching. Was that bad... or was that good?

Agie didn't know why she was tracing her fingers around his cut, but it felt nice. She smiled and then watched him come closer and touch her cheek. She thought he was going to kiss her cheek, but she was wrong. Agie felt Josh's lips, she was confused and didn't know why but she kissed him back. Her heart started racing as she reached out her hand and placed it on his shoulder. What was happening? There were friends! But why did it feel so right.

That butterflyic feeling came to his stomach as he felt her kiss. He remembered the feeling as he use to get it a lot. Well he sorta missed it. His head started to clear as their was only one thing on his mind right now. Kissing..that was an easy thing to think about. he pulled her closer to him as they kissed. it didnt take long for him to realize what he was doing. Josh managed to smile as she was talking about something.Not sure what excatly. he looked outside as it was getting dark. " Why dont we both get some sleep.You can have the bed.. you need it with your bum leg." he teased her as he then moved to put her arm around his neck and helped her to the bed. "If you need anything you can just yell." he would hear her seeing as most of the time he didnt sleep much. He doubt he would sleep much tonight. Too much thinking to do.

Agie was still breathing fast. She really didn't want to sleep at the moment, but he body was screaming for sleep. Agie laid back down and dragged the covers over her and Josh. "Ok." She said thankfully, she didn't want to be alone, she was scared. It was just sinking in that they nearly died and something was chasing them, someone was chasing them. There he was going touching her again, her heart jumped again a little.
