We have a contest! And people who don't know Urdu are welcome to participate! [That's why this thread is in English, you see].
And what is this contest about, you ask? Simple! Let your creative juices flow, and whip up a piece of acrostic poetry! Wait! What is acrostic poetry, you ask? It's a poem where the first letter of each line spells a word. For example:
Clouds and rain,
Attempts at mouse-catching,
Tails of enigmas.
^ The first letters of each line, here, go on to spell the word 'Cat.' Now what YOU have to do is to use a word and create a piece of acrostic poetry. It can rhyme, but that's not necessary, and you can feel free to make it as fun and simple as you want. A very simple and easy example:
Merry,
April-follower,
Young!
Please remember that you must choose the word for your acrostic attempt from the FOLLOWING list of words:
01. Urdu.
02. Forum.
03. Snitch.
04. Seeker.
05. Harry.
06. Potter.
07. Love.
08. July.
09. Summer.
10. Cake.
Rules & Nitty Gritty:

[T] Entries can also be emailed to zkt13@hotmail.com, but the same time restrictions apply.
[T] Please follow all SS Board rules. Take care that you do not plagiarize, and kindly refrain from profanity.
[T] You may send in as many entries as you like, as long as you use one of the ten words given above to produce your acrostic poem. Feel free to use the same word in more than one entry.
[T] Please write your entry in English. All entries will later be translated into Urdu for Urdu Forum'ers to enjoy better. You may submit an entry in Urdu, if you wish, but it will have to be translated into English for the voters.
Other info:
I will post all the entries here after the submission deadline is past, ANONYMOUSLY. Each will be numbered, and people can then vote on the contest poll to determine the winner. This will ensure that no favouritism occurs, and the competition is fair and transparent. =)
Only the username of the winner will be revealed, but you may reveal which entry was yours if you so wish. I have several delightful, little surprises for the winner, too. -shifty-
