I can't believe it.. Pakistan semis main jeet gaya. OMG! Mere dil co kuch kuch oraha tha match k doran. =p ITNI dua'en ki theen.. Really. I'm just so glad we won. Go, go Pakistan!

And end ka over woh Kiddo (who balled excellent as well) dy diyee, He could have let the game away.

I disagree. England kabhi aasaan team nahi rahi. They play by the book - it's the "slow, but steady" way. Wo goals bananay k liye cross balla nahi maarte, wild attempts per nahi utarte. Buhat saaf, buhat suthri game khelte hain. Buhat physically fit hain. SA = brilliant, magar England was never an easy team for them.

Pakistan us zamanay main kaafi behter khel raha tha. Magar Australia's team was, no doubt, amazing with their game, not to mention in AWESOME condition. I don't think SA ki "bad luck" thi. Teams buhat balanced theen. Unho ne apna semi haara, hum ne apna semi jeeta. It would be unfair to say k hum purely luck pe finals main agaye.

Again, I disagree. New Zealand ne baar baar apne aap ko saabit kia hai, na sirf men's cricket main, balke women's T20 main bhi. Is vakt un ki men's team ko main top-of-the-world to kaheen se nahi kahungi, per unhe buhat lightly bhi nahi lia jasakta.. aur na hi pichle saal lia jasakta tha.

Uuper vaale ne? While it's true ke of course Allah saath tha tabhi jeete, magar ye nahi kaha jasakta k hamari team ki apni mehnat nahi thi. Hamari batting itni achi nahi thi, I agree with that, but balling outclass thi. Amir, Umer aur Afridi ne buhat suthra, buhat acha khela. Aur speaking of ballers, Saeed ne pehli hi ball per Kallis ko out kia. Our team put an awesome fight in the semi-final - Mujhe lagraha tha k jeci batting ki hai, shayad haar jaen, but they made up for it through some pretty good balling.

Afridi ki game dekh kr you get to know k vo basically baller hai. Aur jahan tak balling ki baat hai he is, no doubt, one of the very best. Man of the match in both semi + final - I really think he deserved that. He's been in good form with his balling, yara.

Mujhe us over per ITNA ghussa aya tha na. It made me SO angry - Seriously, it was one of our team's worst decisions in this year's T20 tournament. I would have been hating Faward even now, but he made up for it with his performance in today's match. Aj kaafi achi fielding ki us ne. =]

Not AT ALL! Amir hamare sub se ache ballers main mana jata hai, currently. He opens our matches, and he does an excellent job at them. And aj k match main he was.. just brilliant. First over main hi ek out krdia, aur vo bhi DILSHAN ko. That was so mind-blowing! And he didn't even let Dilshan - THE Dilshan - make any runs!

Aur besides, that decision was alright kyun k hamare saare AWESOME vaale ballers k overs khatam hogaye thay. B=[ us Umer aur Amir rehte thay. Umer ko second last over dia, kyun k buhat pressure tha aur Umer could handle it better, being a bit more experienced. Us k baad naturally Umer had to rest, so they brought in Amir. Agar Amir ko second last dete, tou shayad vo SA ko contain nahi kr pata - Umer ne a kr un ka run rate bilkul gira dia tha, so Amir was under lesser pressure and the whole thing paid off.

Dilshan jb out hua tha, I was SO amazed. Kyun k vo vaki main buhat zabardast khilari hai, aur isdafa ka Player of the Tournament award bhi usay hi mila hai. That was some AWESOME balling by Amir. <3

Earlier this month a suicide bomb blast killed over dozen people in Peshawar, some 30km from Mardan, the hometown of captain Younus Khan.

Hundreds of people gathered outside Younus’s home to watch the game and celebrate the win.

“We lost so many people in the blasts recently. The military is fighting a war in Swat but we forgot all the gloom with this cricket win,” Abdullah Khan told a local television channel.

People also thronged paceman Umar Gul’s house in Peshawar.

“We have a tradition of hosting our guests and Sunday’s final was watched by hundreds of people outside our house,” Gul’s elder brother, Mairaj, told AFP.

In Islamabad, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari announced a cash prize of 500,000 rupees (6,500 US dollars) for each member of the winning team and double that for Shahid Afridi, the final’s player of the match with an unbeaten 54.

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also congratulated the team and invited them to attend a reception at his official residence after their return from Britain, his office said in a statement.
