URDU: MY SISTER's TRANSLATIONS FOR THOSE WHO ONLY WANT TO SEE URDU FIRST, THEN AFTER ENGLISH:

Mai 3 Maheeno se pataa lagaana chahrahaanh hoonh kai Oxford University press aglee harry potter nikaalenh gai ya nahi. Maine bohot dafaa email bejee hai poochnai ke leeyai kai mil jayee gee ya nahi - mujhe 3 maheene ke baad khabar ayee hai kai Harry Potter and the Order Of Phoenix nahi nikale gee. Jaise mai bohot chaahta hoonh kai yai nikalai - mai OUP ko mail baar baar bejhta hoonh taake vo tang aakar nikaaldenh - Aap kee mehrbaani agar aap email bejhai unko bataane ke liyai kai aap bhee iskee zaroorat hai. I have been investigating past for three months whether oxford university press Pakistan will release the next Harry Potter book. Well, after many months, i recieved a reply that there is NOT GOING TO BE ONE!

However, sneaky as i am. The way to get Harry Potter Order Of Phoenix is to e-mail OUP Pakistan and 'annoy' them to publish it!

Today i emailed him and pretended that i run Urdu classes and that my students are eagerly waiting for the next Harry Potter book. Believe it or not, he replyed and is interested, asking me at least how many people do i know who are interested!

This is what he wrote:

Dear Jawid

Thank you for your reply. I am forwarding it to my colleagues concerned
with the decision about publishing or not publishing.
It would be of great help if you could tell us, as I asked, how many
copies you would buy. Also you said there are 20 students in each
class,
how many classes are there?

Sorry, my translation is really bad in urdu. I also explained myself in English after the urdu translation. Just give me a momment, my sister is really good in typing in urdu and shel will translate it better than me

The situation is that oxford university press in pakistan dont want to publish the next harry potter book (the order of phoenix) because they believe that the urdu market will not support them. So what we need to do is email Muhammad.Arshad@oup.com, and pursuade them to publish it. It will be possible as when i emailed them, he was interested in how many orders i would like to buy. Please e-mail this person and just ask him about the next harry potter book.

I hear that there is fake copies of Harry Potter and the order of phoenix, but it does not match up with Darakhshanda Asghar Khokhar versions.

i actually thought they already had goblet of fire, order of the phoenix and Half blood prince in pakistan......

Typical as my sister would write this mistake: NOT HARRY POTTER GOBLET OF FIRE, ITS HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF PHOENIX URDU.

There are only four versions of the book written in urdu and translated officailly.

Nope, if any Harry Potter is released in Pakistan after lthe goblet of fire, its fake

Only the oxford university press can translate the books very well. So if anyone is interested for harry potter and the order of phoenix in urdu, published by oxford university press, you will have to e-mail that guy and tell him to publish it.

Hey MissCongeniality, can i ask you if you read any harry potter books in urdu. You see, i read the english version, its just that my aunt reads the urdu version as she cant speak English so well. She wants to get part 5 in urdu. Its a shame that Oxford University Press Pakistan have not published the fifth book.

Well, you dont need to lie. All you need to ask them if their releasing the fifth book in urdu. The point is that the pressure would rise and they will publish it.

Have any of you guys recieved e-mails? I have had none! Perhaps pressure is been put onto them. Maybe they might release it, i really hope they do because its sad for my aunt to stop reading the books ad there is no further volumes in Urdu...
