This is the place to suggest ideas for Activities, Discussion threads and general suggestions for the club. Please specify clearly whether your suggestion is a discussion, activity or general and we'll try and take care of it! This is your club, so make it amazing!

I have a few suggestions for activites.
1. 101 disguises used by Tonks throughout her career?
2. What do you think Tonks looks like and have to submit siggies and avatars to let you know.
3. What would Tonks say to Lupin in a love letter or vice versa. Then we would have to write a letter to one or the other like the McGonagall club is doing diary entries.
4. Describe the perfect date between Remus and Tonks.
5. Hide and seek with Tonks. Place her some where in the forum or around the board if it is allowed and first to locate her and post there answer to to you wins.

Those are really great ideas Oona! Thanks! I might just use some of those.

I really like #5 but I have no idea how we could get that to work...I'll have to consult with Raider and Erin on that one...


Rach: We could work it like the VQ thread works the snitch. Somewhere in our posts we could just have .Tonks. posted. Typed just like that too so no one would get confused. Maybe Sparkly and I could work that out somehow.

I was wondering if we could have a Tonks smiley changing hair color and as TonksNymphadora suggested in the chat thread a unicorn patronus smiley too.

I have another Idea.... The Club President could chose a 'Tonks of the week' and that person would be Tonks. We could use Tonks Quotes and stuff like that.. for example if it were me I could do like this in the Chat Thread.

I deffinetly like the idea of a Tonks of the week, but I dont know if it would work for the Tonks hide and seek. Just because poeple (Especialy me ) use actions to announce there going int o a thread. If someone posted something like that then it would throw everyone off.

We could try to name 101 (or more!) hair colors for Tonks! We'd have to start naming unknown colors, such as: Chartruese! (it's a shade of green, also my fav. color!)

I really like the Tonks smiley idea! It would look really cool too!

Another idea just came to my mind!

We could have a contest, almost like a mini WIYM! We'd all try to post as much as we can, and there would be different categories every few hours or so! It would be like the WIYM, except it would all be for Tonks! The top 3 or 5 posters could get a Tonks MVP avvy and siggy set!

That's a really cute idea! I will definitely keep that in mind.

Well, we already have a WIYW thread, so that would be kind of redundant. But that is an interesting idea to have a prize for the top posters in the thread. Thanks!

The RLFC was playing this game, and it looked like a lot of fun. It is called what can Tonks take to the moon.

Rules:
1. The host thinks of a pattern that involves what Tonks can take to the moon.
2. The first person to geuss the pattern gets to host the next game.
3. To play, you simply ask if Tonks can take a specific item to the moon, like, Can Tonks take bananas to the moon.

Here is an example of how the game is played:

Host: Tonks can take spaghetti to the moon.

Someone:Can Tonks take Snuffles to the moon?

Host: Yes, Tonks can take Snuffles to the moon.

Someone: Can Tonks take Harry to the moon?

Host: No, she cannot take Harry to the moon.

Someone: Can she take apples to the moon?

Host: No, Tonks can't take apples to the moon.

Someone: Can Tonks take sunflowers to the moon?

Host: Yes, Tonks can take sunflowers to the moon.

Someone: Tonks can only take things that start with the letter s.

Host: That's correct.

So, then the person who geussed it would come up with a new pattern and host the next game.

They can be hard or easy. The one above was pretty easy.

Keep in mind, guys, that we can only have a certain number of games/activities running at a time. As it is, there are games and discussions that aren't getting much attention and will probably close. I would say if something is inactive for a week or two, unless it is an established thread, it will probably end up closing. That's up to your presidents, of course.

That makes sense. No point in keeping something around if people aren't interested!

*cough* Being the activities auror, I must say these are wonderful ideas. I only run two (max) activities at a time, so you don't have to worry about that.

Alright, since we all seem to love the Tonks/Lupin ship, perhaphs we can do something with the RLFC to celebrate that. As Ern posted:

I think we should make a place where people can say what they think about her.

This is an idea - 101 things Tonks could stumble over (I'm crazy, I know!)

Competitions - Graphics, have we done that? Poetry, always a popular choice!

What about some kind of special activity for the holidays?

I'm still kind of new to the groups but I think a newsletter with things that are going on within the group would helpful.

I've also noticed that in some other groups they offer various RPing opportunities like missions and such.
