Well  I'm not sure, I think Tonks was popular and she enjoyed being noticed and having friends. I think that she wasn't particularly smart but she got by in her classes above average  (Tonks says something about not being very good at potions) | |

I think that Tonks was a popular student and had many friends, because of her Metamorphmagus ability. She would stick out more and be easily noticed. Class wise I think she was more laid back, but she did alright in them. (She had to seeming she became an Auror) I also think that she and Charlie Weasley were friends, seeming they're around the same age. So, yeah. | |

In OoTP Tonks says that she wasn't a mprefect because she lacked certain qualities.

I reckon she was popular with her fellow Hufflepuffs and the Gryffindors, ignored by the Ravenclaws and looked down on by the Slytherins. But I bet her powers gave her loads of friends. She was probs quite laid back, but tried hard in lessons and did relatively well.

I like Tonks more as a Seeker...but that's just because I read a great Charlie/Tonks fanfic in which Tonks' nickname was Snitch, and I've been writing C/T fics with Tonks as a Seeker ever since!
(And her nickname is ALWYAS Snitch in them)

I can easily see Tonks going out/playing Beater or Chaser for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. Beater mostly. She's a strong girl! But if she didn't go out, then she probably doubted herself because of her clumsiness. | |

I wonder her clumsiness ever got into loads of trouble... I can imagine her spilling potions in potions and making Prof Flitwick fly across the room like Neville did... Tonks and Neville both seem to be clumsy, but in different ways

True...Neville...was terrified when he made mistakes but he couldn't help it and wanted not to make mistakes because he was under pressure, Tonks is more sorry/joking when she makes hers because she's just clumsy

I could easily see Tonks as being someone similar to my Amelia in the school RPG actually.
She was probably a hardworker, loyal to her friends, liked attention, good at quidditch, clumsy - as seen when she's an adult, not too big into boys/relationships, and just all-around fun loving. | |

I can see Tonks being friendly with each House. Maybe not Slytherin, though. I can easily see her being good friends with the Weasleys that attended Hogwarts at her time. It'd kinda fit, seeming Mrs. Weasley is somewhat like a mother to Tonks in a way.
