OK. She is a methamorph....(wtw..I can't spell it *blush*) and I just wanted to know what everybody else thinks how she really looks, when she hasn't got pink hair and long nose...

Okay. So, what to you think she really looks like when she doesn't have her 'odd' look. Does she look like you and me? Tell us what you think!

hmmmm interesting topic... very difficult... I thinks he might actually have kept her original look. Tonks isn't the kind of person the be a fake, or change into someone else. She's herself!

I'm going to go with my friend's belief and popular belief in fanfictions, and say that I think she has mousey brown hair. I'm not too sure about her eye colour, but many people have suggested either dull brown or violet. The reason for this appearance is that she has trouble metamorphosing in Book 6, when she is feeling quite depressed. If she was sort of losing her powers temporarily, she would probably go back to her natural appearance. I can't see what's wrong with her natural look, though (but this is coming from a person who looks like unhappy Tonks ;oP, so I wouldn't see anything wrong with it!

hmmm I think it all depends on what she looked like when she was born....what does a metamorphagus *sp* look like when they are born???!??

Hmm Tonks could have been Asian or African American for all we know but felt more secure as a Caucasian woman... That poses the question, how did her parents know who she was? lol....I think she must have had the emotion change thing as well. I guess she might have had black eyes or something when she was born because she wouldn't be too happy to be slapped on the back but as the days went on she must have grown to like the colour brown and experiment with different types or hair, eyes and body features to show her emotions....then she discovered pink hair

lol yeh, her look may have changed while she was growing up accprding to what style she liked, music, general mood etc... maybe she changed to pink wheh she fell in love with Remus

Well, we all have seen Tonks with gray (Right?) hair, which is normal and it made her all un-Tonksish and sad (Along with her slightly broken heart ) I actually don't really think she'd have her appearence in our normal way. She'd like to be different ... way different.
So, if she was in a Muggle area she'd keep it the way it is just to freak 'em out! Serves them right, you know!

I love Lari's siggy to! if anyone has magical graphic powers, they could do that and it would make a perfect banner for this discussion! But anyway, I also think Tonks would delibrately give herself uncommon features, like the hair and the heart-shaped face. She likes to be different and never came across as someone who follows fashion!

true....but I think that Tonks maybe didn't have as much self-confidence as she does now when she was a kid and that she had to bulid it up....and soon she had pink hair and gave her parents a heart attack!

I dont know why but ive always thought that tonks would have long brunette hair like andromeda, like she inherited the looks of her moms black side.
I can really imagine tonks wandering around in a big house with a fancy dress on and her hair floating around her waist. or not.

I find it very hard to see Tonks in a normal appearence and actually be herself. Herself is of her looking different. It's just 100% black and white! As we saw, Tonks was not herself in HBP, because of her new (And ... sad) look.

I think that it would be funny having a child with pink hair at birth. I'd be freaked out!

I can easily see Tonks having fire colored hair. That would be awesome! I also love the rainbow hair style.

I love the fire colour idea... I actually think she's a nntaural blonde that loves black and pink etc... coz she reminds me of someone I know like that...

I've seen a really creepy picture - it's Tonks mimicking Remus, little grey goatee and all. That actually gave me a nightmare, and I had to cuddle my teddy to make it go away......

I find it hard to picture Tonks looking normal. She has her own unique way of being different and I'm sure she wouldn't like fitting in with the crowd as much, unless it was for a really good reason.

immitating Remus... that just sounds funny to me! Tonks probably loves to stand out because she's a metamorph, it gave her a love for looking different!
