What about what do you think Tonks would have been like if she had been born a muggle? What would her interests have been, what kind of student would she have been, etc? And on a similar note, what do you think she would be like if she were born a squib?

I'd like to hear your thoughts on these. How would they differ? How would they be the same?

if Tonks was born as a muggle well i guess she would still be the same clumsy tonks. But then can muggles be metamorhpmagus?

hmmm.and i think she wouldn't be hated by bellatrix so much haha... and perhaps she'll try all her might to be a witch not just a squib. I don't think she'll like to be a squib forever.

Thanks, Kelvin and Nat! I think Tonks would be pretty much the same as a muggle, too, clumsy and all that. I think she would enjoy punk rock type music and make her hair spiky, plus dye it different colors if she herself were not a metamorphmagus (which I doubt she would be if she were a muggle). So yeah, definitely the punk scene for Tonks! I think she would be that way if she were a squib, too, but I don't see her as having been a squib, either. She has a lot of magical talent to begin with, and that's just how she is.

I agree with you both, It seems like Wizards have so much muggle personality in them!

Tonks...the MAD ROCKER GIRL. I think Tonks would have been a fair student, she'd mess around a lot and not be that great at Maths and arty things but she'd pass fairly well She'd be in a band and be obsessed with rock, she might even play the guitar or drums, but probably wouldn't sing. She'd be the class clown and would pursue the rocker-life after school. She might work a few jobs here and there to keep the money coming but rock would be her goal.

As for the squib-ness...hmm...Tonks' life probably be very different, but she'd still be the same old Tonks. Though, I'd imagine she wouldn't believe that she's a squib and keep trying to do magic anyway It may take away from her hyperness a little bit though, if you honestly think about it.

I agree with everyone, Tonks' personality would change little. She would still be the clumsy and enthusiastic Tonks we all love. But, I guess her life would be a lot different, too. Not being able to do magic, she could have done a lot of other things.

I wonder if she would have been interested in law enforcement if she was a muggle.
