As you may have noticed elsewhere, the time has come for us to ORGANIZE ourselves and really dig into what we want to talk about in regards to the beloved Tonks. So... let's hear it. Post your ideas of topics related to Tonks that you'd like to suggest, and we'll discuss one a month. Feel free to list as many topics as you'd like, but pay attention to what we've already discussed and the SS site rules.
When you post a topic, one of the fan club presidents will take a look at it and then approve or disapprove it. A date for the start of the discussion will be put up and as this date approaches you will be PMed to start the topic. When you start a topic you will be the host of this topic and are in charge mainly of keeping this topic active for a period of time.

I would like to know, what do others think on how big role will Tonks have in the final book. Will she be the main character or will she help Harry fight Voldemort? Will she stay with Lupin or will one of them die? Ern: Excellent!

When Tonks isn't changing her apperance how does she look like? Tell me what you think  Z: Maya, could you tell me a little more? I'm kinda confussed.  OK. She is a methamorph....(wtw..I can't spell it *blush*) and I just wanted to know what everybody else thinks how she really looks, when she hasn't got pink hair and long nose...
Is it more clear?

Tonks' Dream Career
We know that Tonks is an Auror, but did she always want to be one? Did she want to have a job that she thought was better? Or was her dream career of her being an Auror? If you think her dream was of her being an Auror, why? If you think that her dream career wasn't of her being an Auror, why? What career would've been her dream career?

Why was Remus afraid for Tonks?
Was it just because he didn't want to hurt her or something more sinister? Could he be contemplating going to the other side? Has someone told him that he could be changed back to a human if he does? Does he miss being human that much? Would he sacrifice Tonks' love to be human again? Zoe: Okay!

We all know that Tonks hates her first name, Nymphadora. So, she goes by her surname only. But why did her mother, Andromeda, give her such an odd first name? Was it because it just fit good with the last name Tonks? Because she just liked it? Or did she just want her little girl to have an odd name that was unique too her?

Did Tonks' being related to people like the Malfoys or the Blacks affect Tonks' view of life and make her an Auror and as fun and energetic as she is today? Would she not want to fight Death Eaters if she wasn't related to them?

Why didn't Tonks listen? (How Tonks' life would've been different)
We learn in Deathly Hallows that Nymphadora Tonks wasn't supposed to be at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when the final battle was taking place. Remus wanted her to stay away from Hogwarts and stay with little Teddy. Why didn't Tonks listen and stay away from Hogwarts? If she would've listened, what would've happened? This discussion is about how Tonks' life would've been different if she had stayed away from Hogwarts and stayed with her son if she didn't go and fight in the battle. | |
