On the Brighter Side... the color complimented Frodo quite well, and the girl house elves swooned when they saw him return to the kitchens!


Barney the purple house elf was cleaning the common rooms when he accidently knocked over some candles and set the curtains and couch ablaze!

But on the brighter side ... Barney then noticed that it was the Slytherin's Common Room. So, he laughed and let the curtains burn.

Tails wandered through the halls late one night, cleaning up the place. He noticed that he wasn't the only one in the room when he heard the voice of Draco Malfoy and his friends. Tails tried sneaking out of the room, but Draco caught him.
But on the brighter side of things ...

On the Brighter Side of Things.... Tails tickled Malfoy senselessly, knowing that was his weakness, and Malfoy dropped Tails, allowing Tails to escape.



Pokey fell asleep early one night and slept through the entire night without cleaning a single common room.....

But on the broghter side ... Pokey told Headmaster Dumbledore about his mistake and said that he was very sorry. Dumbledore said that it was okay and that Pokey should get cleaning those Common Rooms.

Pippy sighed at all the laundry she had to do. She had completed all the laundry from Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw House. She didn't want to do it, but she did it anyway.
But on the brighter side ...

I like this new game!!!

But on the brighter side.... Pippy didn't do the Slytherin laundry because they were just going to stink them up anyway!

Lu Lu was preparing for a feast when a talking oven told her she was going to get very rude comments about her specially made tripe.

But on the brighter side....

But on the brighter side ... Lu Lu had confidence that he food would be excellent and if she got rude comments from the Slytherins, she was ready for it.

Skamp was helping Madam Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing talking care of some injured children, first year children. Madam Pomfrey asked Skamp if he could get a Healing Potion from the cupboard. Skamp did as he was told, but on his way back he tripped over and accidently broke the bottle of Healing Potion.
But on the brighter side ...

On the brighter side.... Skamp hurried and got a new bottle of potion. When Madam Pomfrey asked why there were less bottles of potion, Skamp told the truth and Madam Pomfrey smiled and let it go like nothing had happened.

Darla was cleaning in the Slytherin boy's dormitory, when she heard someone coming. She then hid underneath one of the beds.

But on the brighter side....

On the brighter side ... it was just the Headmaster, coming to let Darla know that she didn't have to clean the Slytherin boy's dorm.

Squishy cleaned up Headmaster Dumbledore's office. She smiled at Fawkes and she accidently bumped into something and it broke.
But on the brighter side ...

^^Thanks Sama!! I'm glad you like this game! I wasn't sure how it would be received but wanted to do something different. I'm trying to keep the games original and fun when I can, and throw the old favorites back in once in awhile to mix things up.

But on the Brighter Side... With a flick of the wand, Dumbledore set everything right again, and even gave Squishy a butterbeer to cheer her up, letting her know that accidents do happen.


Babsy drank a little too much butterbeer and decided that she needed to add some to all the food and drinks that were being prepared for the student's dinner...

But on the brighter side ... Dobby caught her and told her that she shouldn't do that because she'd get in trouble with Dumbledore.

Curly ran from floor to floor looking for Mrs. Noris, they were playing hide-and-go-seek. As he ran into the fifth floor, he ran into Filchwho 's face was pure red.
But on the brighter side ...

But on the brighter side ...Mrs. Norris was enjoying a nice relaxing bowl of cat nip behind the greenhouses as Filch sang softly to Curly.

Misty the house elf had been preparing dinner for the school when she accidently added a truth telling potion into the stew. During dinner, the professors told the school their deepest secrets.
But on the brighter side...

But on the brighter side...The school were relieved to have such honesty from the professors, that they became even more loyal to the school.

Nelia was cleaning out the fireplace in the Ravenclaw common room, where suddenly she got sucked up the chimney

But on the brighter side...she happened to do clean the chimney on one of the windiest days of the year... a gust of wind came and blew her right out of the chimney.


Aussie, a new house elf got lost in the castle on her first day of work and wondered around aimlessly as she tried to find her way back to the kitchens.

But on the brighter side...she got to explore the castle and discover many hidden doors and shortcuts.

Jersey the house elf, couldn't get a stain off professor Snape's desk, so she tried using the all purpose mess remover and ended up, putting a hole in his desk.

On the brighter side, while Snape was busy putting Harry Potter down yet again, Hermione snuck into Snape's office and fixed the hole before Snape even noticed!


Sassy the house elf, was cleaning the Transfiguration room when she saw a cat sitting on the desk. Thinking it was a stray, she opened the window and then picked up the cat, put it outside the window and then closed the window after her, making sure the cat could not get back in.

On the brighter side, she was able to take a break from her cleaning to tend to the cat.

Sally, the house elf, was cleaning the stairs when she suddenly slipped on a wet spot and went tumbling down.

But on the bright side...she tumbled into a fellow house elf and they fell madly in love, spending their time cleaning the Ravenclaw common room together and sharing secret bottles of butterbeer.

Marly the house lef was in the DADA classroom cleaning up from the last class when a student came in and hit her with a spell...

but on the brighter side...

But on the brighter side ... the spell made Marly dance as he cleaned the room, which made him get done sooner.

Chuckie was in the Gryffindor Common Room cleaning, of course. He walked up the spiral staircase but he found hats all over. He jumped as one of them started moving toward him and whispering things.
But on the brighter side ...

But on the brighter sie it turned out to be Dobby who helped him clean faster and they spent the rest of the day singing in the broom closet.

Winky was crying sulkily on her stool by the fire when an ember caught her dress on fire. She shrieked and jumped up, knocking the hug roast that was for dinner off the table and ran around screaming...but on the brighter side...

But on the brighter side, there happened to be a bucket of water that she could jump into and put out her blazing dress with. The water soon became warm and steamy and Winky,thinking that she might as well clean up, started to scrub with a smile. Dobby, standing near by, quickly handed her a bar of soap.


Sprinkles was watering all the plants in the castle. As she was watering the plants in the Gryffindor common room, she slipped and accidently watered all of Kerry's homework leaving a soggy ,inky mess. But hey, on the brighter side....

But hey, on the brighter side.... Kerry was in the Gryffindor House points lead and figured she'd take a break from earning a few more and give her housemates a chance to catch up so she skipped the assignment and sat down and had a butterbeer with her house elf instead!


Flopsy cleaning the gryffindor dormitory when she accidently knocked over Jasmine's prize herbology plant she had been working so hard to grow for class all term. While bending over to pick up the mess, she accidently stepped on the plant, further injuring it and nearly killing the poor little plant and Jasmine's top mark in Herbology.
But on the brighter side....

but on the brighter side...The plant let out a substance, which healed Flopsy and gave Jasmine top marks

Tommy the elf was going on a holiday with his owner and he accidentally left the water running, which destroyed the whole house

But on the brighter side...

But on the brighter side his owner won the state lottery on their trip and was able to buy a much lager house, with a smaller house just for the elf. The elf got a huge bonus instead of getting into trouble and soon started his own line of elf clothing.

Sabby the house elf was walking down the deserted corridor of Hogwarts when Peeves started throwing rotten eggs at her. She screamed and ran full tilt into a statue of Blarmey the Ugly and fainted...but on the brighter side...

On the brighter side, since she was unconscious she couldn't smell the rotten eggs.

Henry the House Elf was cleaning up the floors when he noticed a pair of eyes peering out from behind a statue. He went over to check it out and as he bent down to take a better look a cat jumped out and began clawing him. But on the brighter side.

But on the brighter side .... the cat was Crookshanks and was only playing with Henry.

Dobby was wandering through the Kitchens looking for Winky. He found Winky crying in a corner of the Kitchens. He asked her why she was crying and Winky said, "Tag! You're it!"
Dobby laughed and chaced after her, but tripped over a chair and fell to the floor. But on the brighter side ...
