Revolving Games Thread

Since we have all sorts of games that we want to play, we decided that the best thing to do would be to alternate between each one! There will be a new game each week, compliments of our amazing Activities Officer, shortfry.

Here's our current game:

This one is called the"IF" Game!"

It's pretty simple, this is how it goes....

The person posting comes up with a question or scenario regarding the house elves that begins with "IF" and then the next poster has to answer the question and come up with their own "IF" question or scenario.

Let me give you an example.

The very first person would start off the game by posting a question such as:

IF Dobby could find a potion to slip Winky that would make her happy do you think he would?

The next person answers the post:

No, Dobby's too honest and could never trick Winky that way, even if it was to make her happy.

After answering the previous "IF" question the person then comes up with their own "IF" question such as:

IF I could create another way for house elves to be freed.. I would free them by .....

If you had to dress your House Elf up in any color, which would you pick and why?

Oooh a color? Hmmm... well it would have to compliment something about them... seeing my house elf has blue eyes...I'd have to say blue (it brings out the color of her eyes)


IF you could design a line of t-shirts for house elves that contained a logo...what would the logo read and why?

Hmm... tough one Kerry!! Guess it would read "I know I'm short, but at least I can do magic without a wand!" Because Dobby does magic in CoS with no wand...


IF there was one wish you and your house elf could be granted, what would it be and why?

Would you house-elf plan a special party for you?

No, I would never ask my House Elf to plan anything, he would live with me and have is ow n room and rules.

If you had a hundred dollars (un don't know what that is in British dollars) would you give it to your elf?

Yes, if thats what they wanted. I would give them whatever they wanted whether it was money,socks, etc! And they wouldn't be mine they would be their own.

If you knew a house elf that needed a vacation, where would you suggest they go?

If I could, I would send them to some warm tropical island where they could just relax on the beach.

If you had the chance to be a house elf for a day, would you?

If you could take one of the HE's with you on a trip, which would you choose?

I'd take Dobby with me... I love the mischievious, yet well meaning spirit about him... we're a lot a like. I'd do anything to save my friends, I just hope I don't kill them in the process...so don't say you weren't warned!


If you could send your elf on his/or her very own vacation anywhere in the world...where would you choose and why?

Hm I would send him to Hawaii where he could soak up the sun and have other people look after him instead of him looking after them. He'd get to see how it feels to be pampered and would finally have his fun. Then he could decide hwo he wants to live.

If your house elf was sick how would you take care of him/her?

If my House Elf were sick, I'd give her anything she wanted. Lots of soup, medicine, and bed rest! I'd even clean up after her! lol

If you were to paint your House Elve's toenails any color, which would you pick and why?

I would pick red because red is the coolest colour ever and it would look so cutesy on her nails

If you're house-elf had spilled something would you make a fuss?

No way.. I spill all the time and my house elf doesn't make a fuss over me!


If you had the opportunity to become a house elf .... through some sort of permanent spell... would you do it?

Of course!

If a House Elf was being abused by its owner would your do something to help it?

Yes I would take it away from its owner by tricking the owner to take a sock from them than have them live with me where they would have a huge room to themselves, where they could do anything they wanted.

If house elves had hair what hair style would yours have?

I would like to see a house elf with a mohawk!

If a house elf could have a pet, what would it be?

If you're house-elf could wish for one thing in the world, what would it be?

Wow, maybe to always be needed, but I think we all kind of wish that.

If you had an HE that could only do one task, what would you want him/her to do?

He would do the dishes. I hate that job. Its endless.

Well since I live in Canada I would have to say England, he could learn a diffrent culture and bring me back some real chips lol

If your HE had no choice but to use his magic for bad, what would he/she do?
