Newsletter Planning Thread

This is where we'll plan out our newletters. We'll cook them up in here and then send them out to the masses! OR OR we could put them all in a pinata and hang it over SS, and smack it with a broomstick and they'll all fall out like confetti, and people won't be able to help reading it because it fell on their head! And then they won't be able to resist coming on over and joining and becoming uber active because we're all so great

But I digress. Come plan our next newsletter here

Any other ideas? Did I miss anything? Wanna get more specific and flesh out this here skeleton with, er, flesh?

How would you guys like this to get done? Should one or two people have the job of writing it?

maybe we should all do a section, hand them in and have two people edit it good idea?

I like that idea, each one can write something about their section; IE, Birthday officer can do a small piece on the birthdays, Activities officer can do something on the activities etc?

Er, good idea... if you need any graphics for this newsletter... let me know what you guys want... or if you want the whole thing on a large image instead of individual?

Ooh good idea Ari and I can do the part about the officers (if you want to, one of us will write that bit and then take the reins on editing the whole), Ernie can take Activities, Becky can do Birthdays, and Kaika can do Promo- what would be included in Promo? Hmm.

Hokai *rubs hands together* I'd like this newsletter to get out as soon as possible, so I would like you all to have your bit of the newsletter completed by Wednesday, July 30. That seems like a good amount of time, since it doesn't need to be more than a paragraph PM them to me and Ari, and we can put 'em together and forward to Cait and Nikki, who will then send to the unsuspecting masses

Ernie: A little ditty about games and activities to come in The Tickled Pear (it kinda sounds like a pub or something ), including the return of Hangman, What House Elf are You, and anything else you'd like to include.

Kaika: Reel 'em in with our upcoming events. Right now, we've got a graphics competition on the horizon, so throw in any other ideas you've had and would like to include. Note: Jess and Laura will be running that one, so they can help out with writing about it if they'd like to

Becky: July Birthdays, and anything else you'd like. I guess we could include the members first that had birthdays this month, but it's up to you. Perhaps you and Kaika can put something together in the future for a b-day promo *nudge nudge*

Jess/ Laura: You guys can collaborate on this one, or switch off with our different graphics needs I think a prettiful banner, no larger than a siggie I suppose [/is a graphics retard ] would be great. Perhaps something with our seal, found in the HE graphics thread?

Yes yes, let's allow the members to help out, it'll put less pressure on us to get it out. Of course the officers will still send it out etc but yeah you know...
