In what way, the freedom way? I think it was because he was treated so horribly by the Malfoys that he just gave up on what was "right" by other house elves, being a slave to their masters and wanted something more, freedom. He also wanted to show that there is more for elves then just serving horribly vile masters all the time. That there's a light at the end of the tunnel. That's just my opinion though. | |

He's over and tired of being slave and he likes changes of the status of his life and also other house-elves status. And of course, Dobby so far is the cutest (because the GoF doesnt present Winky and the other Hogwarts' house-elves).
