If you could create the perfect world for House Elves to be safe and live free, what would that world be like?

Ohhh man good question... soo much to say...

I think if all elves were free to do as they like they might still want to take care of everyone... it might just be something they like doing... but I think they would help on a vastly larger scale if they were all free to do as they please... But I agree with ^ a lot of houeselfs are short so things would need to be sized for them and all... I had somthing else to put here but as of this second I forgot it sooo....yeah I will comeback to that later...

You know what would be cool... If a house elf made it really high in the government and what not...

If I could create the perfect world for my house elf…

Well, I have three house elves but one of them is just a baby. My house elf Sally loves pink and giant overstuffed chairs. I would make sure she had a giant pink chair in every room of her house. Yes, I said her house. Since Sally and Ralph are married and have a baby, Charlie, they need their own place. Granted it’s the guest house behind my house, but they love it just the same.
Now, the perfect thing for Ralph would be to have all the counters in his workshop lowered a couple of feet so he would be able to work on his projects a bit easier. He doesn’t care much for cleaning the house, but he does love running errands, so I would make sure he had a better way to get around.
As for baby elf Charlie, I don’t know what he likes just yet. I would want to make sure that Sally and Ralph could spend as much time as they wanted with their baby. I think that would make Charlie very happy.

Well, I would creat a world for House Elves where they were made the center of attention. Everything would revolve around them for a change. Anything that they would need or want would be provided for them at their whim. I know how much House Elves like to work so I would create a House Elf amusement park that catered to that. It would have rides,games, and such that were work themed. There would be a cook off, and cleaning contests and all sorts of fun stuff for them. More later.

Hmm, let's see a perfect world for my Elf Misty...well since she loves potatoe chips for some reason I would always keep one room full of all her favorite flavours so she'd never run out. Since she loves doing homework even though I'm not in school, I would allow her to become a study-buddy to some children and allow her to do the work for them, but I would ask that she takes a break everyday at 3pm so we can watch Relic Hunter since that's one of her favorite shows.

Her world would be beautiful; great oak trees where she can climb up and watch the sun set, which would always show a picture of a House Elf smiling and waving at the other Elfs. There would never be a need for work, unless the Elf wanted it, then one space would open up and they would get good pay and vacation time.

Hm...that's all I can think of for now, be back later with more.

OK There would also be a House Elf shopping mall. How cute would that be? Little elfy things and pillow cases,tea cozies, and all that in loads of different colors. There would be a huge cleaning supplies store where they could shop til they dropped. Oh. and a House Elf disco night club where they could get down and boogie! Back with more later, gotta go to work Byes!

Oh and in my perfect world for House Elves there would be a school for them to learn all sorts of things, kind of like a Hogwart's except for House Elves. And there woulf be Humans in the kitchens that serve them instead of the other way around. I would help out, I can make a killer bowl of Mac and cheese!

And don't y'all think that it would be fun to have House Elves movies for them to watch? Like instead of "Adventures in Babysitting" it would be "Adventures in Hat Knitting" or "Star Wars:Return of the Jedi" would be "Elf Wars:Return of the Bigeye"

Oh, just thought of another one; a fountain that only served the drinkers deepest craving. If my Elf craved let's say caffine, then the fountain would turn into a fountain of coffee, with an endless supply for her to drink. There would also be food in all the kitchens, which never ran out, and a nice confortable bed which never got lumpy and stayed warm through the year. You see, my Elf likes being warm so I'd need to make sure she's comfortable.

There would be servants who would serve her, but they would also get two days off a week, a big paycheck if they wanted and a weeks vacation every season. There would be nightly concerts which she could go too and no one would make fun of her for her large droopy ears.

Okay House Elves perfect world....

A well it depends...I guess there would be a lot of work but no one would force them to do it...and therefore they don't need to punish themselves...then we get to the fun bit....SLEEP! Nice beds and luxuries like awesome FOOD not made by him/her! and a few days off! Go on holiday with our employer and have FUN not work....unless they neeeeed to! It's all about options!

Ok, so I never shared what I think would be the perfect world for a House Elf. Well it would be one where the Elves would be surrounded by only the nicest of wizards. I think perhaps in a tropical destination - kind of like an all inclusive resort. It's a great place for house elves and wizards to live together in harmony and a great place for those house elves who choose to be free. Just imagine the places they would have to go and relax. As well as an unlimited amount of activities for them to keep themselves busy.

This resort would also cater to those house elves who still chose to work. There would be plenty of places for them to work at including kitchens, bedrooms, dining halls, laundry rooms, pools to clean, ect...

We want to make the house elves happy, so we'll do whatever we can to cater to there every need. House Elves around the world will want to come running to his safe haven. Ahhh if only it were real!

You all have some great ideas. I like the house elf shopping mall. Everything HE sized, so they wouldn't have to make their own clothes. I also like the idea of a HE day. I'm not sure about a once a week thing, but once a year to celebrate them like we do Mothers day and Fathers day. A big HE party.

Oh! their own hockey leaque! Yes, we'd watch the House elves skate around the ice, scoring goals, it would be fun for them plus great excersize as well. If they wanted, they could work on the teams, designing the logos and do everything themselves My House Elf would love that!
