I think that Dobby does love Harry. Harry changed Dobby's life and Dobby saved Harry's life. I still think that a House Elf could have a crush or fall in love with a witch or wizard. You can't control who you fall in love with. All you have control over is what you do with that love. |

Yes, Dobby really showed love in the last book, love for his fellow elves and love for Harry. He made the biggest sacrifice when he died, and that in itself proves to all the wizards who knew him how much love really did shine from his small heart.
Kreacher even showed love by finally helping Harry and the gang out. | |

i agree Dobby definitely loved Harry...he gave his life to save him and his friends...and winky loved barty jr. and i think in the end kreacher did love as well...maybe not to the extent of dobby and winky but at some level | |

Yes, they have their own minds, they can love who they want too. Of course they have to 'love' their masters, and in some cases their masters love them back (the Kreacher/ Regulus plot) I guess it all depends on how they were raised.
