The Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling CarnivalThe Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling Carnival is here for the first time in Diagon Alley. Sponsored by all your favourite shops of Diagon Alley, the carnival is here for the summer! With magical rides and games, food stalls, knick-knacks and entertainment, this is a party for all ages that you won't want to miss.
We provide ten red carpets equipped to seat four people at a time. Please wear your seat belts at all times and do not lean over the side of the carpet. Each carpet takes off individually, providing an unique experience for each set of riders that dare to go on a wild ride. The track has been treated with a disillusionment charm and is thus invisible. It circles the entire carnival and provides a one-of-a-kind carny experience for participants; no other carnival has matched the quality of Worple and Warmsley's famous Carpet Coaster. Riders can only guess where they will encounter steep climbs, fast turns, dizzying loops, and heart-pounding dives as they hang onto the fibers of their carpet for dear life. When it is not drowned out by the screams of riders, carny music plays to amuse both riders and spectators.
Pick a carpet and hang on tight!
OOC: Feel free to interact with the Carpet Coaster Carnie Flynn McDorman (Roselyn), chat, play and leave loose belongings at the entrace!

In a second, they were in the air, and she had caught her breath and surprised to grin again and, " WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!" Yeah, usually, she wasn't a screamer or a loud person but.. this was exceptional. The only thing missing in this adrenaline rush game was Dallin who used to be the one dragging her to such activities.
She was giggling and 'woohoo'ing like a crazy and at one point, when the course seemed to be a bit straight, she tilted her head to see Adam, "Isn't this great?" She shouted over the wind, shouts, and distant music. Before he answered, she tilted her head to the other side to see Jonathan's reaction. He seemed pretty calm when he scribbled on his secret book so...
Adam could tell that Louisa was expecting him to be really excited and well...he wasn't. It wasn't that Adam was opposed to having fun it was just this whole height issue. Hoping that he could fake excitement Adam put on the best smile that he could muster. In fact he was about to reply me too to Louisa's response of "of course" when the carpet started to move.
Adam flattened his palms against the carpet, the wind blowing so hard in his face that it was making his eyes water slightly. Louisa was wooting and cheering really loudly next to him, but Adam didn't really mind. Deciding that perhaps it was best to fake it to make it, so Adam let out a loud cheer as well.
"WOOOOOOHOOOO!!!!"
Adam turned to look at Louisa who had started to talk to him, but it was difficult to understand what exactly she was asking him. Deciding that perhaps a visual response was better than a verbal one Adam shot her a thumbs up briefly before returning his grip to the carpet. As the wind was whipping at his face Adam felt his lips curve down slightly. It was a shame that Louisa was so interested in this Dallin guy, because from the experience he'd had with her so far, he kinda liked her.

"Oh hello Skye! Fancy seeing you here." Anna said walked to the ride. "I'm Anna again, Anna Reese, I talked to you in one of the shops here." Anna told her friend hoping she'd remember. "This is a four person ride." Anna told her friend. "Are you waiting for others? If you don't mind I could wait with you until two others show up?" Anna asked Skye.

Skye smiled at her friend from the shop and gave a small wave. "Oh, hey. We don't have to wait. I just didn't feel like going on alone." She said, still smiling at her.

"Sounds fun!" Anna said sitting next to Skye. "Are you ready for this ride?" The ride started as the two friends soared around on the Carpet Coaster.
Christopher ran towards the carpet coaster laughing hand in hand with Violet, pulling her along with him, as she wasn't running as quickly- probably due to trying not to mess up her hair, or her shoes were limiting her, or she was just hesitant to go on the roller coaster all together. But it was probably the latter.
Grinning up at the red carpets going around the invisible track in all different directions, a sense of nostalgia filled him. The last time he'd been on a roller coaster, it'd been his first time riding one, and he had ended up riding different coasters multiple times. The adrenaline rush he got was one if the best feelings in the world. It felt like summer. "So are you ready, Vi?" he asked, giving her hand a little squeeze, still grinning more than he had in a very long time. Somehow, Violet took all of his pain and just washed it right away.
Suddenly, he was very aware that the roller coaster was a four person ride and they were getting very close to boarding. "Darn it! We should've had Elektra and Selina come with us! We need two other people to sit with...." he trailed off, peering around for groups of two in need of someone to go on with.

Raven ran up to the carpet ride and tapped her friend Christopher on the shoulder. "Wow, I didn't realize you would be here. One of my friends just took off on the ride with her other friend right before I got here. Oh, see do you see them up there? Yeah, that's her. Well. Do you mind if I ride with you? Oh, who's this?" Raven smiled at the other girl.

Violet smiled from ear to ear as she followed close behind Chris as they held hands. She was beyond exuberant to see him this happy, which she hadn't seen in the past few months. He finally seemed like he was emotionally healing and it gave Violet hope that he was going to make it through this. But she was so happy that she hadn't realized where they were heading. When they had stopped and were looking up at the Carpet Coaster Violet's eyes widened and her mouth had dropped a little. Violet then felt Chris squeeze her hand and then asked if she was ready. She eagerly said,"Absolutely!"
As they waited Violet heard Chris mention that they needed two other people to go on with them. Too bad Elektra and Sely weren't there at that moment. Violet then noticed Chris was taking the more, 'silent' way to look for other people to go on with and that just simply wouldn't do. She then cleared her throat a little bit and took a deep breath before shouting, "DOES ANYONE NEED TWO OTHER PEOPLE TO GO ON THE RIDE WITH THEM?!" As Violet waited for any takers she noticed Chris' embarrassed reaction and could see his face reddening. She then said in a soft tone,"Oh Chris you are just too cute for words when you blush like that.." She giggled lightly.
Violet noticed a girl come up to her and Chris, and Violet could see that they knew each other and then asked if she could ride them. When she asked who she was Violet immediately stuck her hand out and smiled brightly,"Hello there, I'm Violet Le Veela! I'm a Hufflepuff going into my Third year...And I'm Chris' girlfriend.." Violet smiled again and then asked sweetly,"What's your name?"!

He was honestly a little surprised that she was this excited about it; he'd actually expected quite the opposite. But he was definitely glad she was. That way they could both have a rockin' time!
And she was hollering. Very loudly. He blushed, casting her an endearing look. She most certainly wasn't afraid to be herself, and he admired that about her. He himself was much more shy; but he was working on that. He actually was becoming a lot more outgoing.
Christopher spun around when he felt a little finger tap him on the shoulder. "Oh, hey Raven! Raven, this is my girlfriend Violet. Violet, this is Raven. We met earlier, actually. She'll be a first year this year! Hey, isn't Evelyn going to be in first year too?" he asked, trying to recall how old her younger sister was. "Anyway, we'd love to have you join us! We were actually just looking for someone to sit with. We're still going to need someone else though," he said, peering around for any loners. Preferably boys. He hung out with girls too often. Thinking about it, he wasn't sure he was friends with any other guys. But thy was saying much- he didn't have many friends in general.
"Oh and don't worry about being Mugleborn. I am too, so I get exactly how you feel- but don't worry! You'll fit in just fine once we get to school!!" he said with a reassuring smile, attempting to speaking over the screams of some other very squeaky girl on the roller coaster.

Reason: Adding something! ^_^
"oh! I'm Raven Sloan, hufflepuff first year. And this is my friend Anna.
Anna looked down again and saw Raven was talking to older students. Anna was hoping the ride would end soon so she can go talk to her friend and introduce herself to the new people. The ride kept on swirling and swirling until it finally reached a hault and Anna, dizzy, walked out. When she stopped being dizzy she went over to talk to her friend Raven. "Hey Raven!" she said happily. She then looked at the new people infront of her. "Hi I'm Anna Reese!" she said happily as she went to shake their hands.

Violet looked at Chris and thought for a moment adn then said,"She would be a First Year this year, but actually Evee's decided to attend Beauxbatons, she's told me she's really excited to go..I'm not really entirely sure what made her change her mind, because my mother did tell me that she got her letter from Hogwarts, but she had received her letter from Beauxbatons around the same time so it was really difficult for her to decide..But I am completely fine with her choice!"
She then smiled and took a moment thinking, what if Violet had gone to Beauxbatons instead of Hogwarts? For she remembered the same thing happened to Violet when she turned 11 years old. She really had no idea which to choose. But she did remember that neither one of her parents were making it easy for her to choose one because they both had really good reasons for why she should go to Hogwarts and Beauxbatons. We clearly can see that Darrien had convinced Violet enough and she chose Hogwarts. And truthfully she didn't regret her choice at all.
Then Violet couldn't help but smile at that thought, because she never would have made the friends she made at Hogwarts. And she would never have met Chris. She then was really happy she chose Hogwarts. To show her happiness Violet wrapped her arm around one of his arms and held onto it and rested her head on his shoulder.

Okay, seriously, there were a ton of first years here.
Christopher shook the young, dizzy girl's hand. He smiled and said, "Nice to meet you, Anna Reese. I'm Christopher." Looking at both ofthe first years, he wondered why houses they'd be in. From what he'd already gathered from Raven, she was sure to be a Hufflepuff. But the other girl..... Anna Reese..... he had no clue. Of course, he didn't know a thing about her, so perhaps he'd be able to figure it out with time.

A frown formed on Christopher's face. "Really? She's going to Beauxbatons? But, why not Hogwarts?" as he thought this over in his head, the answer was obvious. He felt like an idiot forgetting. "Oh yeah! She doesn't speak English, does she? I haven't met her yet, but she sent me this summer about how she was sorry about my da......," the Gryffindor began to trail off, his facing paling. But he was determined to have a great day, he wasn't going to think about sad things like that on such a lovely day. No sir. "She, erm, wrote to me, and it was all in French. So I wrote her back in French, and I asked if she spoke much English, and she said she didn't. So I guess that decision makes sense. Plus she probably didn't want to hurt your Mum's feelings, or wanted to be closer to home. It's a shame though, you talk about her all the time; I thought I was going to have a new little buddy."
He smirked, thinking about when Violet's met him, and her mum always called him Christophe."I don't think I ever really noticed it, but your accent is adorable," he said thoughtfully.
Suddenly realizing that they had four people, Christopher sat down on one of the carpets, next to Violet and across from the other two. Now all he had to do was wait for the nice carnie to send them off!

Violet then realized that it was their turn to go onto the ride. She gasped and clapped eagerly and quickly followed Chris. Violet sat down next to him and then looked at the other two girls giving them eager smiles. She then waited for the carnie to come and send them off.

"Really?" he asked, rather shocked. Evelyn had made it very convincing that she didn't speak English well! It was a rather clever prank; he'd have to make sure to keep an eye on her if he ever visited the Le Veelas or if they came to Selina's. Perhaps he'd even have to prank her back. The fourteen year old was sure he'd have a lot of fun and mischievous adventures whenever they did eventually meet. Evelyn seemed pretty cool; Violet never stopped talking about her anyway.
"I have a lot of questions about your family, but I'm sure we can talk more about it after the ride. And feel free to ask me anything about mine, I think talking about some things could make the grief..... hurt less," he said choosing his words carefully. Because it could either make it hurt less, or more. It all rather confusing and he was still adjusting to it, but eventually he'd get used to it. Perhaps it would even be routine at some point, but that was definitely far in the future.
Trying not to end the conversation on an awkward note, he asked, "What do you want to do next? We've got all day! Anything but the freakshow. That's just cruel and I don't feel comfortable with that," he said, his smile turning more serious. That was just awful. Those "freaks" were just people. People who were different. And from first hand experience, he knew how that felt. From basically everyone at home. The kids, the adults and teachers, even his mum. So the freakshow for him was a definite no. Anything else, however, was fair game!

And speaking of carpets, didn't he use to have pencils all the time? It looked like a nice carpet to be drew to her. She could fall from the front side, though, but that would be... only one side not two sides.
Now it was Adam's turn to sit in and the carpet would fly on its on, right? Because she didn't know how to drive carpets *mellow*
Jonathan, who is playing around and having all these excitement suddenly turned a notch down when he saw the person who greeted him....
...............Louisa.
Jonathan and her don't get a long, that's a fact. The first time they met they argued about muggle borns and purebloods and whatnot. The second time they did they still argued but then Jonathan left instantly. Disagreeing and constantly debating wasn't really his thing especially when he's arguing with a girl.
Not worth it.
And now this.
They meet again and this time she is with a guy, holding hands. Jonathan had his devious smile on "I didn't expect to meet you like this" he said while looking at Louisa holding her boyfriend's hand. Jonathan would like to asked if he was her boyfriend but maybe that would just emerge their third argument. And this is such a nice day to be enjoying. He doesn't want it ruined over some argument.
With the three seated in the green carpet, and another kid already seating himself in the RED carpet, Flynn took out his wand and gave it a wave. Automatically, invisible straps wrapped themselves comfortable over the kids snug tight. Safety first and all!
"ALRIGHT! Your journey on the amazing carpet coaster starts in...
3...
2...
1...
BLAST OFF!"
Another wave of his wand, and the carpet coaster started to soar through the air all over Diagon Alley, with it's loops, turns, and dives along the way. HAVE FUN KIDS!
Emily really hadn't been expecting the take off, even though it counted down. With a woosh they were off, and like a cart at Gringotts, she could feel her eyes water and a smile appear on her face.
She wasn't really a scremer, but not being able to see the track added some scary element to it and she coudn't help but let out a loud one as they did a loop-de-loop. She just felt sorry for the little first year sitting next to her...
Skye walked over so she stood next to Anna. "I'm Skye, in case you were wondering." She mumbled, smiling at them. The ride didn't really affect her because compared to the cart ride at Gringrotts, this was nothing. She continued to smile. Oh god, here comes the smiling again...
Willaim walks over here with Witsy. "Are you ready for the roller coaster dear?" William asked Witsy.
"Are you kidding," she said pumped, "I'm hyped up! This is gonna be awesome!" She reached into her pocket and pulled out a half eaten chocolate frog, "I have another, want one," she said giggling. "I feel like I need sugar for a ride like this, I can't help it," she started laughing.

He faced front and was good to go. YIPPEEE!!!
Huh? Like what? Louisa saw his gaze moving down to their now-unlocked hands and blushed like... a stupid shy girl. Did he really have to trigger her bad mood every time they meet? She faked a big smile, "Thanks. I tend to have many friends unlike others," putting as much emphasize on the 'others' as she could. If he was going to act like a.. snake, then she'd be the eagle she assumed she was!
She turned her attention to Adam then to begin their ride..

It was a shame that Louisa was so interested in this Dallin guy, because from the experience he'd had with her so far, he kinda liked her.
...Louisa hadn't really paid much attention to either boys on her sides. In fact, she was scooted closer to Adam in case Jonathan had ideas about pushing her off or something. Gulp. Good thing she had a Gryffindor on the other side just in case.
Making her mind as blank as she could, the girl slowly let go of the carpet, the belts were secured so no problems, and raised them in the air fast just as the Carpet made a strong jerk downward. It wasn't quite clear whether Louisa's shouts were cheering or merely shouts of surprised and heart dropping. Either way, her hair got loose and felt like it was about to be plucked out of her head from the wind, her eyes closed against the rushing 'fall'.
I have so much fun RPing with you... they always have something to disagree with. LOL

As if that insult hurt. She wishes. It would take her more fragile insults to break down Jonathan. Whatever. She's on a date and here she still has her argue mojo on. Really nice.
Jonathan doesn't feel the need to answer with it any further. He doesn't want to ruin his day and he doesn't want to ruin her day. So set aside in being a snake and just enjoy the day with carefree rides.
Speaking of which, it would be nice to just add one more thing before the ride starts. Jonathan couldn't help. He smiled at Louisa and looked at the guy. "Oh I'm sure..." he turned back to her again "... with that attitude, I'm sure he's lucky to have you" he said. Sarcastic of course.
Jonathan faced in front and didn't bother to listen to her any further. Whatever it is, they can talk/ argue/ bicker about it when the school starts but for now... let him be. Carnivals like this don't come as often as every summer. So he's pretty much enjoying it while it lasts. Holding the carpet, he readied himself for the ride.
A few seconds later, the carpets automatically ran in high speed. It's brilliant. Jonathan is definitely enjoying the adrenaline rush. He can see everything, no need to close eyes and act like a diva. It's just a ride. It's like riding your broomstick on a very high speed.
Anna was really shy infront of the older boy. All she met in Diagon Alley so far were first and second years, besides her older brother, a fourth year, she really didn't know anyone else older than him. "Nice to meet you Christopher!" Anna said nervously. "I'm a Hufflepuff." she said. "What about you?" she asked Christopher
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Adam turned to look at the boy who had been giving far too much attention to their previously locked hands. What was his deal?? He turned to look at the kid with a not too friendly glance. If this kid kept up talking to Louisa with those kinds of tones there were going to be some issues.

AMAZING! BEST RIDE EVER!!!!
Adam was up and out of his spot before the boy had a chance to finish his sentence. Adam was looking overly tall since the boy was sitting down and he was standing but he didn't care. "Do you have a problem?" Adam asked, his voice coming out firm and cold. "Last time I checked this was supposed to be a fun ride, not a chance for you to make snide remarks at a friend of mine."
Glaring at the kid for one more second Adam returned to his seat and buckled himself in. If there was one thing Adam hated more than anything it was people that felt they always had to get the last word in. And what in the word was with all these people assuming they were a couple?
