Carnival food. Mmmmmm. Synonymous with junk food, and also with delicioso.

"Mandrake root tea and a corn dog," Paulie spoke, when it was finally his turn to order. "Please," he added as an afterthought.

He casually looked around at all the other people chowing down on their food. Paulie wasn't sure how he felt about the food being enlarged.... kinda made it seem fake. Fake food. Like the plastic play foods in toy kitchens.. Anyway! He wished they had burritos. Fried burritos. Buffriedos. Mmmmmm. He began to salivate just thinking about the scrumptious things. But, alas! A corn dog would do.

"Hahahaha. It's pretty cool. SOmetimes schools will have trips there. It's never crowded though, there aren't many people in my town. Sunset Cove, California has a population of 308. That's counting tourists." Cove said smiling. "I went to a school in California. Like an hour from my town."

A small smile flickered on Sabel's lips as he shrugged. "I suppose. Don't really know anyone that lives in Canada." Except for people who weren't talking to him right now. But they had every right to that decision.

"Not much point in going back." Another shrug and he picked at a fry. "Nothing left for me there."

"Woooooooow." The word was extremely drawn-out, and there was a hint of disbelief and disapproval to her tone. Morrigan continued to eat her pizza slice, but regarded him with her head slightly tipped to the side, "You're just Mr. Sunshine, aren't ya?"

Seriously, she hadn't come to the carnival and bought tons of food only to hook herself a glum chum. Her luck must have gone down a few points since last she'd checked.

Sabel gave another shrug. "It's the truth."

Letting out a slow breath, he folded his hands on the table and took a glance around. He really didn't care how his mood was viewed by others. He didn't particularly want to bring anyone down more than he had, but at the same time, things were what they were. "How much of the carnival have you explored thus far?"

"Well, let's see." She shifted in her seat and looked around, then started pointing, "I've been to that food stand, and that one, aaaand that one over there. And that's it."

Could she get him out of his sullen, sorrowful mood? Did she even want to bother? Maybe she could make a training thing out of it, "You know what we should do? To test our endurance for job stuff?"

Sabel's eyes followed her finger and a small smile twitched on the corners of his mouth. Not very far then. And for the essentials.

The brief flicker of amusement flared as he glanced back at her. "By eating as much as we can?"

"Yes, that first." She pointed over his shoulder, where the top of the bouncy Hogwarts castle was just visible over the different stalls and tents, "But then we should go in that. Great endurance testing, don't you think?"

Confused, Sabel turned his eyes over his shoulder. It took him a good moment to figure out what exactly she was pointing out and when he finally did, he was at a loss of what to say for a good minute.

Slowly, he returned his attention back to her, a perplexed expression plastered on his face. "...Have you seen how tall I am?" Would he even fit in there?

"Not really?" She'd sort of been preoccupied at the time. Besides, she was 5'7'' flat-footed and usually wore heels. More often than not she was taller than the men she dated when they went out in public.

"Not that it matters, I read the sign and it said there's a charm on the castle to make it as big as the actual Hogwarts on the inside. I've never been, so I thought it'd be fun." Remember fun, Mr. Sunshine McBeanpole? She was sure he'd experienced it a few times in his life.

Fun. Something he hadn't had a lot of lately. "As big as the actual Hogwarts."

His eyes trailed back to the bouncy castle in consideration for a moment. Then, he gave a slight nod. "Alright, on one condition." Reaching out, he pulled the food away from her end of the table, shooting her a coy smile. "It's probably best we stop eating. Jumping around after a lot of food is a good way to get a cramp."

"Tsh, I didn't know the MLE had Fun Police." Morrigan made a halfhearted attempt to get some of the food back, without success. As if she'd never suffered a cramp before. She'd been the child who ate food while swimming.

Still, at least he was perking up a bit, and she couldn't say she wanted to go in a bouncy castle with a grump. Or by herself, though she could probably meet someone else while in there. She got up and brushed off the backside of her shorts out of habit, waiting for him, "You went to Hogwarts? If you did, I expect a bouncy tour."

"Oh we have plenty of Fun Police." He wiggled his eyebrows at her before pushing himself to his feet. "You just have to know where to find us."

Packing up the food, he offered the make-shift containers to Morrigan before offering her his arm. "Ran up and down all seven levels, eight if you count the dungeons, several times. Got lost just as many. So I can give you a tour, but it might be more of an exploration."

"Done and done. I love exploring." She conjured a bag and shrank the containers before placing them inside, then wrapped her free arm around his and put her palm on his wrist. If he was going to be all old-school-gentleman with her, she'd do her bit to act the old-school lady.

"Lead on, Sunshine."

Victoria already had all the candy she could possibly want stored away in her big hair full of secrets bag, thanks to Sugarplums, but now she was thirsty. OMG, shopping was like, harrrrrrrrd worrrrrrrrk!

The young redhead politely stepped up to line when it was her turn to order. "One Exploding Lemonade, please. Also," she hesitated here, "do you know how long it takes to explode?"

Cuz there was NO WAY she wanted to get lemonade on her new skirt. Oh no. While waiting for the person behind the counter to hand over her lemonade, Tori couldn't help but notice a boy -- or was he a dog? -- seeming to drool over nothing.

"Um... you okay?" she asked the guy, with a slight nudge to his side. Really, the people here...weiiiiiiiiiird....

If he had a hat, he would have tipped it to her. She seemed like a decent woman. Strange, but decent.

Now, he had to figure out how to get to the bouncy castle through the mess that was the carnival. But there was only one way to figure that out, and so he started walking.

Paulie wrapped his fingers over the edge of the counter as he awaited his corn dog and tea. He couldn't really blame them for a bit of a wait, what with all the people wanting their food and then the workers probably had to take a second to cast some enlarging spell on each and every food item. It added up.

He heard a girl order an 'exploding lemonade,' in spite of the fact that she didn't know when the drink would explode. What if it exploded midway down her throat?! What then?! He sent a wary look behind the counter.

Then, the same voice that he had just heard, spoke again. And it was.. to him? He turned to her: a ginger. Real pretty. Lots of.. uhh, what was that stuff called? Not lipstick.... lip gloss? It was odd because he really couldn't tell her age. At all. His instinct would say younger, but she dressed like she was seventeen.

Anyhow. She was asking whether he was okay. Okay? Why wouldn't he be- Oh. He caught on that she gave a glance towards his mouth, and only then did he realize that a small dribble of saliva had been collecting at the side of his mouth. He swiftly wiped it away with the back of his hand. "Uh huh, yeah." Awkward. He wanted to change the subject to draw the attention AWAY from the fact that he was just caught drooling, and not even over a girl. "So, the exploding lemonade, huh? That.. sounds bold."

So they didn't know how long it would take to explode? Or... they didn't know how long it would take to get her an exploding lemonade? Tori wasn't sure what the person behind the counter was shrugging about, but she was sure that the dog!boy she'd nudged was speaking to her now.

Heh. So he had HAD been drooling. Aww. Victoria almost giggled at this adorableness but hid her grin behind her hand. "Yeah, you know, I'm a pretty bold individual." She flipped her hair over her shoulder. "And a pretty thirsty one."

She shot a meaningful glance at the carnival people. UM HURRY.

"William paid the shopkeeper. Here you go, a slice of pepparoni pozza, pumpkin juice and a candy apple for you" Willaim told Witsy. " A slice of cheese pizza, choclote frongs and a butterbeer for me" Wiliam said to Witsy. " This is nice eating with you" William smiled.

Danielle moved over to the food stalls- she so needed a bit of a pig out. She looked at the menu and as soon as she saw Fish and Chips she looked at the vendor- "Hi! Can I get Fish and Chips please" she said softly as she pulled her cute little purse out and counted out some money as she waited.

She then looked around and wondered if she'd see anyone she knew, or maybe someone she didn't know. That would be cool. It would be awesome to make new friends, it was also awesome to make new friends.

Caroline's blue eyes went back to the table there was still so much food there. What was they going to do with it all. Gah she needed to stop thinking about boys for a while. Like that was going to happen. She needed to not think about Braeden like that. They were friends. There was all. Except that time when she bumped her head, and she thought Brae was her boyfriend and she kissed him. Emma and him were such a cute couple. Much like her and Carter used to be. Actually she thought that Slytherdor couples were cute in general. Except those ones that Carter was in and the girl wasn't her And besides Caroline appraciated both Emma and Braeden's friendship, to do anything about it. She was doing that thinking out into space thing again. She looked up at Brae, "You know Brae you are a really good friend." She emphasized the word friend for her own convicing. She buried her feeling once for him went she met Carter and they went away. So why couldn't she do it again for Emma? Those feeling were there because she was lonely thats all. Right?

She laughed when he raised his eyebrow evilly when she said that it was the best drink she'd ever had. Like he had just bought her over to the dark side or something. She had heard they have cookies and Draco Malfoy. She was a Slytherin that was the dark side. they had both too So now she must have been on the dark side of drinks now too.

"Sure. But I can go get it." She said, she needed to take a walk anyway. The line was verry short at the moment. She was planning on buying him another for him since she had drank the one he got. "I'll be right back." She smiled and got up and left.

She came back about 5 mins later. With two cans of coco-cola. She plopped back down at the table and sat next to him that way if she went off into space again it would be harder for him to tell. Sitting both cans on the table she silently slid the can over to him.

Next to Iris a man decked out in several musical instruments was standing trying to fill the carnival with his music. But nobody really seem to be listening. Focusing on the ex-head girl Sophie said "It's been eventful for me too. I have some news i want to share, but only when everyone get's here." There was no point in breaking her dropping out of Hogwarts news to one person at a time. No she was going to break it to everyone since then everyone would react at the same time.


The girl whom had been hufflepuff quidditch captain showed up and Sophie flashed her a smile "Hi Isobel!" as a way of greeting.

The next person to arrive was Simon. The ex-quidditch captain whom was now heading for a professional quidditch career. "Hi Simon! How have your summer's been?" she greeted him warmly as he joined them.


The next time Sophie turned around Evan arrived all dressed in a football jersey, jeans and even sunglasses. He looked very different somehow. "Hi Evan!" she greeted him brightly wondering if Mina was waiting for him in some part of the carnival.

As Legend joined the group Sophie greeted him with a grin "Hi Legend! Good summer?" Twidling her thumbs the ex-lioness studied her friends faces. Taking a long breath she said raising her voice "Um everyone.. I have a small announcement. I've dropped out of hogwarts to start an intense healing training education." Not finding the words to continue on Sophie stopped letting the news sink in. She didn't know how they were going to react but she feared that it would be with shock and confusion.

Right so Cassie was feeling rather hungry now after almost half a day of running around this carnival. She needed food asap. She also made a mental note to get the most unhealthy stuff she could find, since today was spoil Cassie day. She could hate herself for it later just not today.

She got her money and looked to the person serving."One small hotdog with everything on it and an exploding lemonade please." She offered her money then waited. Her waiting meant people watching. She was about to start that when she noticed Danielle from yearbook staff. She didn't know her know her, but she was a familiar face and her purse was cute. "hey Danielle.' She said smiling and moving closer to her.

Dani turned at the sound of a voice nearby and smiled widely- "Hi Cassie" she said politely as she brushed back her curls and smiled at the girl that had approached her, they were on Yearbook together but didn't really know each other very well. This could be a good opportunity really.

"How are you? Had a good summer so far?" she asked the other girl curiously as they waited for their food.

Cassie smiled at her and nodded."Yeah it's been alright. No drama." Which was good she supposed if you weren't into drama. She worked on the promotion shoot for her dad owled James and was now hoping to see him. If she didn't then her summer would probably take a nose dive.

"What about you? How has your summer been?" She flipped her hair back and straightened the front of her top.
