Fending off another yawn half-heartedly, Cael made his way to the nearest refreshment booth. He really needed to wake up. "One thestral coffee, please," Cael sighed dropping the necessary coins onto the counter top. "Caffeinated, black."
Olivia had simply been basking in being back around the excitement that was the carnival, getting people their treats when they asked and dreaming up other possibilities to add to menus while there were brief respites. She'd always enjoyed seeing everyone enjoying themselves, and it seemed like the people in Diagon Alley were just like everyone elsewhere. Carnivals brought out the children in them, even when they actually simply were children.

It seemed some of them were getting a little worn out, and she simply nodded as the boy who had approached requested caffeine. "Of course," she replied, going over and pouring him a cup and then trading it for the coins he'd dropped onto the counter. "Tiring yourself out?," she then asked, leaning over to rest her elbows on the counter as she regarded him again.

"Requests...any requests?" he called out as his instruments rested for a moment other then the cymbals that still sounded as he walked.

Olivia couldn't help but break into a grin as she heard the unmistakable sounds of Bert heading over her way, and she leaned forward to watch him for a moment as he played, then basked in the adulation of the few people gathered around. "Hey Bert, why don't you play something we can all dance to?," she asked then, giving him a bit of a wink. She knew he'd know what she meant, just as much as he'd know she hadn't meant he'd been playing anything different before. That was the point of the camaraderie of everyone working here, after all. Family understood each other.

'Can I have a hot dog, please?' she asked the vendor, rummaging her bag for some coins to pay for it. In her defense, there was no other source of food nearby and she WAS incredibly hungry. And anyway, her mum was hopefully probably still busy at the bank.
Busying herself around behind the counter whiel humming the latest song she'd heard from Bert, Olivia glanced over as she heard another voice and saw a young girl rummaging around in her bag. "Certainly," she replied with a grin, proceeding to get the hot dog that was requested for her. "Did you need anything to drink, anything else while I'm at it?" She already knew that condiments were available for everyone just to the left of the booth, but she'd developed a habit of wanting to make sure nothing ever got forgotten. Plus, the girl really did look quite hungry.

Lola was a self-proclaimed freak and a carnival JUST wouldn't be a carnival without this dashing, young girl, would it? No no no, she was born for these events--what kind of people would there be?! Men with two faces? Beautiful hags? Oh how exciting! It was a bit unfortunate that no one asked her to come with them for this event; that obviously meant she was desperately lonely. Maybe she would befriend a fellow freak her--leave the life as an actress--and travel abroad the circus.

People would stare and glance and she would bathe in their lovely attention.

That wasn't a horrible idea, actually.

Oh now now now, again, what would a carnival be without her? She had to wear something bright... something DASHING and eye-catching. There was nothing else than this little ensemble; matching pink top and bottom with rather animalistic stripes with a hint of feminine inside of it. She was practicing wearing high heels yet again (a true Queen should walk with perfect strides and bask in her own glory). The girl was a fan of decorating her hands and fingers which included many sorts of things that she found nitty gritty. A pink kitty necklace was rather big and hang out in front of her chest. AND THIS MARVELOUS ENSEMBLE WOULDN'T DO WITHOUT HER PINK COTTON CANDY HAIR. She petted her hair as if it were a fluffy poodle and she again, walked oh-so Queenlike... heading towards food and refreshments aisle.

"One cotton candy on a stick, please. Can it come in pink?" she said rather attentively towards the woman. Without making it obvious (even if it already was), she slowly leaned forward a bit... just so the woman and the people around could have a better look at her pink cotton candy hair.. Like that? It's beautiful isn't it? Isn't it, candy lady??? Yet she said NOTHING because the girl was so very humble on the outside.

She looked around for anyone familiar. "People of the carnival! It is I, Lola Jones," she said around with much ego. She had a goal to make friends with carnival people today--you know, her own people in which she rightfully belonged in.

Once again off in her own little world, making sure none of the supplies were running low and wondering if she could find someone to cover for her so she could go visit some of the others, Olivia had been kneeling down behind the counter resupplying plates when she'd heard the sound of heels approaching, and had stood back up in time to see the oddest girl just about to lean forward over her counter. "One pink cotton candy on a stick coming up," she replied, trying to disguise her surprise with a simple smile. "And yes, your hair is very beautiful." She was hoping it was a wig, but then it seemed the girl would have been one to actually have pink hair if she'd so decided. That declaration had certainly seemed to prove that, if not the outfit.

"It's nice to meet you, Lola Jones," she replied, handing her the cotton candy as another girl had walked up and gotten into a conversation with the highly theatrical Miss Jones. Who then had decided to actually offer to let the other girl pet her hair. People thought carnival people were odd... Olivia was beginning to think they had never met this girl. Perhaps their opinions would change.

Harley was walking through the crowds of people to get out of the Leaky Cauldron after the long day of helping Ryoma clear out the summer rush. It seemed that, for Harley, this Carnival could only be a good thing. It got her out of work, which she had to admit was starting to grow on her, and away from Ryoma who especially today was being his usual "charming self". But she could have lived without the mobs of people. She just wanted to get a good old veggie burger that she was desperately starting to miss since she had left her life in the Muggle World to return to her old life in the Magical World. The food at Leaky was great, but something about Muggle food made Harley feel at home.

So the blonde approached the counter and got exactly what she was looking for, a big veggie burger. She placed the correct coins on the table and started to each her food. She looked at the lady and said, "Thank you."

Besides the loud children running about it was a nice day.

Greedy Braeden had ordered more than his hands could handle over at the food and refreshments area of the carnival. He'd gotten pink-and-blue cotton candy, some popcorn, a pizza slice, an ice cream cone, some cauldron cakes, and, of course, a muggle Coca-Cola drink (he was quite happy about that last bit, it wasn't very often he got to enjoy Muggle drinks in the wizarding world).

But now the Gryffindork found himself with the challenge of carrying all this food over to a table, because he most certainly would not be able to eat it all while just strolling around. Why he didn't just get a normal amount of food will forever be a mystery. The doof worked in mysterious ways.

With arms cradling the absurd amount of food he had just paid for, Braeden walked away from the food stand at snail speed. He had to make sure not to drop anything.

Christopher had been mucking about the carnival with some friends all day, and was having an excellent time. He waved Violet and Selina ahead to tell them he'd meet up with him later and dropped by a little food vendor to grab a little lemonade. After politely putting in his order and receiving the exploding drink, he thanked the vendor, and paid the required eight sickles and twelve knuts.

As he turned around to leave and catch up with his friends, being the klutz he was, he tripped over his feet, sending his open drink spilling all over the clothes of a girl whose face he hadn't seen, as he was concentrating on grabbing a wad if napkins for her. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!" Thrusting some napkins at her, he said in a panicky voice, "Here! Use these since we can't use magic just yet.... Gosh I am so sorry...." he said again, looking up to see who he'd just drowned in exploding lemonade, [B]"....Cass."

Of course. It would be her that he just spilled something on. He hadn't really gotten a chance to talk to her since the wedding, but he was pretty sure they'd become okay again. Though after this, that might have changed.

Caroline had been walking around the carnival all day. She had lost all of the people that she had came with by this time. In seem her brother had made so friends during there comings to Diagon Alley this summer which made her happy. It got the boy out of her hair for a while. It was good for him that he was making friends here she was worryied about if he would make friends here.

Any the slytherin had finally made her way to where the food was. Thank Merlin! She was hungry walking about all day at a carnival could make a person hungry. Very hungry. Even a small girl like Caroline.

As she went to get in line and wait to order, she read the menu deciding what she wanted everything looked so good. What in the name of Merlin is a coco-cola. She looked around to see if someone could solve this mystery for her. But a pile of food walking by grabbed her attention. Leaving the mysterious coco-cola to be solved later. Behind the pile of walking food was a familiar lionmane hair and goofy grin. "You don't plan on eating all of that on your own do ya, Stonem?" she called out the boy catching up to him which was that hard since the boy was moving as slow as a snail. Man that boy had a pile of food. She really should help him out and carry some of that. With a sheepish grin she grabbed he huge thing of cotton candy and lead them over to a empty table.

However they were supposed to go about getting food, Adam hoped they figured out soon because his stomach was starting to protest from the lack of food.

Adam regretted the question as soon as it came out of his mouth. Louisa's face fell and he realized he had epically failed in keeping her mind off of things. "Well I'm sure that if they're your real friends, they'll be understanding," Adam said with a little smile. He wasn't sure that he was really the most qualified advice giver, but maybe some optimistic words would help the situation. Adam drummed his fingers silently on the table top, observing the people and things around him silently before looking back at Louisa. "Sorry if I.." Adam struggled to find the right word. "Upset you by bringing the subject up," Adam concluded lamely. There he went again stating things in a ridiculous fashion.

Adam's family was a brush it under the rug and forget it never happened bunch, so when it came to giving advice or asking someone if they wanted to talk about it Adam was completely rubbish. He stared at his hands for a couple of moments, trying to figure out whether he should extend his ear if she needed to vent. "I know we just met and all, but if it would help to talk about it..." Adam said, his voice getting quieter and quieter until the end was almost a whisper. "Well, I don't mind listening if you need to...I don't know...talk or anything." Adam kept his eyes towards the table, thinking maybe the situation would be less embarrassing if he didn't look her in the eyes...plus maybe she wouldn't feel like he was pressuring her to talk, because he wasn't.
If they're true friends? "Yeah.. that makes me scared sometimes," She had this serious look on her face, "I don't want to know unless it is the same as I want," which meant that she didn't want to know whether Dallin would talk to her on his own or not. She must take the first step to vanquish every doubt.

After a moment of thoughtful silence she returned her attention to what Adam said,"Oh no, it's all right," the fake smile turned genuine.. a bit. "It's just a touchy subject to me. It's not as touchy as it used to be at the beginning of the summer, though," She scoffed at herself. Looking at him, she saw how awkward he felt and decided to help him get over it. "Thank you. I'll always remember that," which was very nice of him! She hadn't met a nice boy other than Dallin up till now. Boys either pulled pranks on her, not usually but some did in her first year, and others just… thought they were better or something. Maybe because they were Slytherins?

Looking around again, she nodded. "Okay, then. Let's go," to get the food that was. Unless he was all gentleman and would bring her the food. *smirk*

Adam gave little nods as he listened to Louisa talk. At the end when she thanked him Adam gave her a little smile. "No problem," he said. "Sometimes it's nice to have a third party to talk to," Adam said with a little shrug.

At the exact moment that Louisa mentioned them getting food Adam felt his stomach grumble again. Food was definitely something that he was in need of. Seeing that Louisa was starting to stand he quickly rose up, and put his hand out for her to not move. "No, no. You stay here and save our seats. I'll just go up to the counter and get two hamburgers and two butter beers."

Adam pushed his chair in to make sure that no one bumped into it while he was gone, before heading up to the counter. Peering into the open space where he assumed someone would be there to order, Adam cleared his throat; not loudly, but hopefully loud enough that if someone was in there they would know. "Um...hello?" Adam whispered.

She was eager for this fresh meat but made sure not to let her prey run away. What if she didn't want to be Lola's friend. Might as well stick a tag on the girl that said 'forever alone' so she simply HAD to make friends with this girl.

Plus, it would benefit her too because when she got all famous--voila, easy autograph right there.

"Ohhhhhh FRIEND!" What GREAT new adventures come their way? Petting zoo? There was a petting zoo? ...Interesting. What a mighty topic to say in a time like THIS. Lola was petting her pouf--oh was the girl trying to...? It was only safe to assume. "Oh Isobel--you really want to pet my cotton pouf don't you?" I KNEW IT!!!! She only likes me for my hair! Well that's what friends are for... "You," sniff, "may pet it." She offered her hair, leaning forward.

Lola could be a niffler. If it meant having friends.
Isobel was hungry. She turned to the place where they sold the food. "I would like a chocolate Ice Cream please," she said cheerfully. Then she turned back to Lola.

Isobel grinned at her, because there was something about Lola that just made her awesome. "Uhhh..." her what? Oh, her hair. Was that her real hair? Isobel didn't think so, but she wasn't sure. "No, that's okay." She didn't like touching people's hair, especially people she just met. Well, apparently Lola was now her friend. But she didn't pet her friend's hair. "Are you going to order any food?" Isobel really did not know what to say. But, wasn't that why they were there?

Yeahhh, Mr White! Yeah science!

Freddie was unusually relaxed as he and Tabitha, who was fast asleep, snuggled against her daddy's chest in her baby carrier, made their way over to the refreshment area. The young man was enjoying his day in the sun, out with his fiancé and child, and soaking up the atmosphere of the carnival.

He paused near the food area and smiled back at Trixie, extending a hand towards her for her to take. “Are you hungry, angel? ..Can I get you something to eat?” He asked her softly.

As Adam went to bring their food, which was very polite and nice of him. Again. Louisa couldn't help but stare at him at he went away. She was thoughtful and something was going inside her head. Why didn't she see him as she had seen Dal? He was very good looking, even more than Dal was with his rather built up figure, and he gave attention to the people around him. Why did she have to like Dal more than Adam and not keep him in the best friend category as last year? Because Adam was definitely a less problematic than Dal who had a beautiful and nice girlfriend who obviously was so in love with.

With an exasperated sigh, she moved her gaze away from her new friend and focused on her hands lying on the table before her. Her thoughts were so silly of course because she hadn't even known when Dal had become more than a friend to her. Maybe at the Whomping Willow? At the common room when they stayed up all night? Or at the feast when she saw his hand on Ellie's? Personally, she thought it was there all along but hidden under this best-friend-cloak. However, she had to get rid of it. It was wrong, painful and time consuming. If she wanted him to treat her right again, she'd have to at least pretend that she got rid of this itchy feeling. Oh and thanks Adam when he came back for being so nice to her and standing up for her before Jonathan.

Trixie couldn't help but grin at the sleeping baby and her fiancé holding her close in the carrier. Tabitha was blessed to have such an amazing father, despite his appearance, which Trix thought had changed quite a bit since their first meeting and because she generally liked to hide his clippers from him, the man was incredibly good at being a dad, and equally amazing at being her partner. But just the picture of them together amongst the bright colours and hustle and bustle of the Carnival bought a smile to her face. Especially as her child stayed fast asleep even though the noise of the children and acts were incredibly loud, echoing through the streets of Diagon.

Once they reached the food area, the couple seemed to come to a halt. Eyeing the menu carefully, and upon finding the Vegetarian options that would be satisfying enough for the Blonde, she turned to Freddie and nodded. "I could do with something to eat yes, but none of that sweet stuff is exactly filling." Guess that was the thing with carnivals, everything was about candy floss and all the rubbish that rotted your teeth. "How about you share a Veggie pizza with me?" she asked hopefully.

Isabelle had needed to get out of the house. They'd moved down to London and into a large apartment for the before-term-time period. And now Alastair was on a cleaning spree, which was fine by her, obviously, as it meant she didn't have to do it. But once he was off there was no point in being around him - you'd get no conversation. So instead of sitting around entertaining her daughter inside, Issy decided to take her to the carnival she'd seen advertised. Not that a four month old would appreciate it quite so much as she would - although she was cooing over the animals in the petting zoo earlier.

Now, though, she was fast asleep in her buggy, giving Issy the chance to stop and grab a bite to eat. Bending down to check the blanket wasn't too high, Issy looked up to see another couple talking and immediately recognised the girl as being the Head Girl last time she had taught at Hogwarts. Something Malfoy...she was sure of it. Mentally making note to ask if she had the chance, she just gave them both a smile, then turning her attention to the food menu.

"Hmmm," she mused aloud, eyes scanning the full list. "Could I have a hotdog and a Thestral coffee, please? Decaff."

Adam had stood at the counter for a couple of minutes, still uncertain as to whether or not someone would take his order. Perhaps it was better to just sit and wait at the table until someone came back. Turning around Adam headed back to where Louisa was sitting, pulling out his chair and sitting back down in it. "I guess we'll just have to wait for someone to come. I looked inside the little booth thing, but no one was there." Perhaps the person was just on a lunch break or something...

Adam could tell from the look on Louisa's face that she had been deep in thought about something. In all honesty Adam was still feeling somewhat uncertain about things. It was completely natural of him to get up and defend his friend, but even Adam had to admit their was a certain edge to the rational behind why he did it that even he couldn't deny. Uncertain what to do with himself Adam folded his hands on the table and looked around at everyone in the park.

Did Adam like Louisa as more than just a friend? How would he even know? Adam had never been around many girls before, the muggle ones choosing not to associate themselves with someone so quiet, and the magical ones not even being present at his school. Adam had fixated his gaze on a person who was clearly associated with the carnival as he thought. Was it wrong to see Louisa as more than a friend? Obviously her feelings and thoughts laid somewhere else...or should he say with someone else...but then there was the fact that complete strangers that saw them seemed to think they were more than just friends.

Adam turned to Louisa and gave her a little smile. "Sorry I wasn't able to get the food. Hopefully someone will come back to the booth shortly."

She hadn't looked up until the chair moved and Adam was back. No food, though. She shook her head a little, "It's all right. We'll survive," And instead of grinning at her own lame jokes, she just smiled. Because something had changed. She had to set the lines clearly. To see clearly and decide why did that Carpet Coaster man and Jonathan assumed they were a couple.

He seemed pretty awkward again. And silent. But she'd bet that he was thinking of the same thing. He had to. "Umm.. Adam?" She started, cautiosly not wanting to sound cruel or anything, "Were you annoyed when..." fake cough, "..I held your hand earlier at the street?" He looked like someone struggling with something in his head. Since he wasn't used to girls... all boys school, right?

Adam could tell there was something slightly different about the smile that fell on Louisa's lips after she made her little joke. Not entirely sure what exactly that little something extra was, Adam kept his face neutral looking. He looked back at the carnival person for a couple of moments, before turning his gaze back to Louisa after he said her name.

"Yeah?" he answered to Louisa, not entirely sure how to prepare himself for what was coming next.

Did her holding his hand bother him? "No, it didn't bother me at all," Adam said, leaning forward and staring directly at Louisa to make sure he meant what he was saying. Perhaps it was unnecessary since Louisa was pretty good at reading people, but he just wanted to make sure. "I was just surprised I guess that everyone seemed to be...fixating on it...if that's the right word. Maybe noticing it is more appropriate."

Adam didn't mind when Louisa took his hand, and it didn't bother Adam that people saw that as him and Louisa being an item, he was just slightly uneasy because he wasn't sure if that was what she wanted it to be or if it was even what he wanted it to be. After all Adam had never dated anyone before, and for all he knew he would be terrible at it. "But...uh...why do you ask?" Adam asked, figuring it would be a good time to get Louisa's thoughts on the whole matter.

Lola was craving for something sweet and something chewy--this pink cotton candy was not JUST some munchy cotton candy, but an extra accessory that matched her hair. She felt so Queen-like at the moment, as she yet again, pet the pink cotton crown that lay on top of her head. She certainly wasn't going to eat too much. Cotton candy was bad for her throat as the rest of the other sweets were. An actress needed to learn how to act and to win the hearts of many, sing as well. With that thought in mind, she suddenly wanted to twirl in slow motion, but only swayed her arms to her side.

"Why thank you madame," she said in a royal tone, "'Sweets to the sweet!' My faire Ophelia..." There was a majestic feel when you quote Shakespeare and she bowed down to the woman. She graced her arms around her face for emphasis and then proceeded on slowly chewing her cotton candy.

Chocolate ice cream? Had the girl gone bonkers?! Never in her life would Lola submit to something so cold and horrible for her throat but she only stared in curiosity as the girl placed her order.

And why had she not pet her hair yet?

Was there something on her hair? A bug?

Either way, Lola was ABSOLUTELY OFFENDED!

Why won't she touch my hair?! I mean I would touch my hair... Maybe I should touch her hair first... SYMBOLIZING OUR TRUST AND FRIENDSHIP!

But she decided not to do it. Not yet at least. "But I already did order daaaahling," she sang as she skipped around Isobel, circling around her. She showed the girl her pink cotton candy, it looked like an exact copy of her wig, and she delightfully took a bite and chewed slowly. "I say, child, you are a Hufflepuff, right?" she asked daringly and squinted her eyes at the girl in concentration. Lola was always a fan of Hufflepuffs--she was secretly a Hufflepuff right at the beginning, but the Sorting Hat sought fit to put her into Slytherin. A wannabe, nonetheless, but it had all been kept a secret to her fellow Slytherins. "I've always wanted to study the lifestyle and habitats of a fellow Hufflepuff," she bluntly stated.

She did see that he meant it. Even if he hadn't leaned forward and made her suck a breath in surprise. She blushed a bit when he said people fixated on it, "Yeah. I thought that if it looked so intimate to people that it might've made you uncomfortable," She kept her eyes on him. Maybe her heart should flutter the way she looked at Dal? They both had the same eyes color and they both were nice. But no flutter. No nothing.

Almost disappointed, she smiled again, "I just want you to know that I'm glad we're getting along. And I really would like to see you again at Hogwarts," Maybe her mind would stay away from Dallin? And her heart as well? Because he was very suitable. Logically. Looking away so she could clear her mind and not blush if their eyes met, Louisa pretended to be fascinated by the... trash bin O__O

A small smile played across his lips when Louisa mentioned her fears that it might have made him uncomfortable. "I generally always somewhat uncomfortable around people, so don't worry about it." Adam hadn't noticed that his hands were clenched so tightly until they relaxed at his words. Funny how he never really noticed how high strung he ran sometimes. "I guess it's just a bonus to being quiet and alone."

Wow. That had come out sounding much more miserable than Adam had intended. He couldn't think of a way to make it sound better than it came out, so he chose to just let the words drop there. He looked over at Louisa who had been keeping eye contact with him for a while. He thought he might have detected a bit of disappointment in her eyes, but Adam could tell it wasn't anything wrong with him. One can't chose who their heart loves...well, at least that's what he'd heard lovestruck people at his school say.

"I'm glad we're getting along as well," Adam said with another little grin. "It'll be nice having someone I'm comfortable with there. Maybe it will make the whole new school thing seem a little less overwhelming." So, Louisa did want to see him again. Well...that was definitely something. Instinctively, Adam turned his eyes aware from her when she changed her glance to the trash bin. In numerous ways Adam thought he would like a girl like Louisa to look at him as something more, but a nagging feeling in the back of his mind told him to try and shut that down. Well...at least for now because Adam didn't know who Dallin was, but he knew he couldn't be Dallin for Louisa.

She was very glad that he agreed with most of what she said. His two words though 'alone and quiet' echoed in her head a lot as she kept her gaze off him for a bit longer. If people hadn't implied them being together, she would've reacted a bit more freely but not this time. Instead, she leaned her elbows on the table and smiled, "You're not alone anymore. I'm going to introduce you to most of my friends and you'll start off with a bunch of people already," It was a payback to what he did back there at the coaster.

Putting a hand under her chin and beaming again at him, she started a new subject, "So I know you have muggle family but who's in the family? Any brothers and sisters?" Probably not since he was all alone and this quiet.

"Thank you. I appreciate that," Adam said, glad that there was someone who would be able to ease him into things. Adam noticed that something in Louisa had changed, causing her to relax a little bit. Perhaps it would be better for his sanity to not now start thinking too much into what people were doing. Just go with the flow, right? Adam placed his own elbows on the table and leaned forward, making him have the somewhat slouched posture that his mother always scolded him for whenever he was around her.

Did he have any siblings? "No, I'm an only child," Adam said with a little shrug of the shoulders. "My parents will never openly say this but I think I was seen as a mistake. At least that's what I've told myself as some kind of justification for why they have no interest in my life at all." Adam wasn't bitter towards his parents, after all not everyone in the world was suited for parenting and really there's no way of knowing that before hand, but Adam did flip an emotional switch in his mind that kept him from taking anything they did to heart. It was easier and perhaps a main reason why Adam didn't just crumble into a ball and fall apart completely.

"My parents are the founders of this muggle business that deals with Real Estate or something along those lines. They don't really talk to me about what they do, but then again they're not really ever around to talk to me so..." Adam trailed off, his voice sounding detached where most people in his situation would sound angry or bitter.

"What about you? Do you have any siblings?" Adam asked, thinking maybe Louisa's home life was more pleasant and favorable than his.

A mistake? Louisa almost.. grinned at that. They were just.. so alike! She got all excited for some weird reason and leaned in closer, "That's me!!" She took a breath to tell her own story, "Mom is a muggle and she married my dad who is a wizard that I have no idea how he looks and what he is like. Never saw him, never heard of him until I was going to Hogwarts." She nodded approving that, "And since they never were together even with me around, I'd say that I was a mistake that mom fixed by marrying a muggle, Jason, who honestly had been my dad ever since I can remember. But again, he didn't know much about magic and when I turned out to be a witch, he.." She paused thoughtfully, "He got a bit different. he's still kind and loving and all but he keeps my half-brothers away from me now. Saying that I should learn to control my magic first and all," Scoffing, Louisa stretched a bit.

Was there anything left to her life story? Nope. Not much, "Eventually, I'm living with my aunt. Jason's big sister who doesn't know about me being a witch while my family went to France." Which opened another long story she didn't dare to tell in case he was bored with her rambling. "Sorry.." She said, grinning coyly, "..I'm not usually like that." True. She had never opened up to a stranger this quickly. NEVER. Not even Dallin. In fact, she'd met Dal when her broom hit him at the train and they barely talked after that. It was probably the common thing at the beginning that made her like that.

Right?

Right?
Adam listened to Louisa as she explained her family situation. Adam figured that his parents would probably be like Jason...only worse. He doubted that if he told them they would understand or be willing to give him a chance even if they knew that he could control everything magically oriented. "I'm not sure my parents would give me the same chance that your step dad is," Adam said with his lips furrowing downwards. "Not that it's right keeping your siblings away from you like that, but I have no doubts that my parents would disown me without even giving me a chance."

It was usually during conversations such as these that Adam wondered why he didn't just forget about his parents completely. He imagined that he could never go home again and his parents probably wouldn't even notice. In fact, he was pretty sure that they would move out of Europe without even telling him and that would be fine with him. Was it bad for a son to be so unconcerned with his parents? Adam deep down in his heart was saddened that he wasn't closer with his parents and that he couldn't share this with them, but there was nothing he could do about it. His parents were who his parents were and that was that. "I imagine once I'm done at Hogwarts I'll just get my own place. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost contact but oh well," Adam said with another little shrug.

Adam tried to run the thing about her aunt through his head, but he wasn't sure that he was understanding her correctly. "So...wait...do you live with your aunt right now or are you going to live with your aunt?" Adam asked. "And don't be concerned that you're boring me, because you aren't at all. It's nice to hear about more functional families than my own."

Fee Fee made her way to the Carnival Food, she had gotten really hungry from walking around all the time. But this was sooo crazy good she couldnt stop walking around and looking at all the cool rides and stuff. The blonde would probably try out everything. No matter how long that would take.Getting herself a cup of pumpkin juice and a cupcake with pink frosting she sighed happily and watched the people walking by.

Disown him? Louisa's face fell at that. Jason wasn't bad with her at all. Well, he pays for everything for her and he ever gave her extra money for shopping this year. He was getting better at this magic thing. Lotta better than Adam's apparently. "I'm...I'm sorry to hear that, Adam. But you're great on your own, I can say this much," She gave a weak sympathetic smile.

"That'd be better," She nodded at his own place idea. In fact, and now that he mentioned it, it was a pretty great idea. Louisa might get that too! Back to her side of the story again, "Yeah. I lived with her since last year. It's so boring over there and I'm not allowed to go out on my own," She huffed and shifted a bit, "She's a bit old fashioned and believe that I need to wear dresses and heals all the time. Keep my mouth shut most of the time. And work on my manners a lot," Pffftt.

"I have a godmother, though, or a guardian if you want to call her. She's a witch that met mom two years ago and agreed to look after me while I'm in Diagon Alley coz mom didn't want to come over here," She furrowed her forehead, "There's still something she hadn't told me about dad. Real dad. I think he made her hate this whole magic thing," Louisa shrugged, "I don't really care that much, though. Why should I when he never check up on his own daughter?" If he had another family, then Louisa might just.. give him a piece of her mind.

Braeden had to do an astronomical effort not to jump in surprise when he heard his last name being called out. We all know just hot jumpy the dorky boy can be, and he simply could not afford to do any startled jumping with all that food in his arms. So, instead, he very forcibly calmly turned his head in the direction of the voice.

It was Caroline!

Beaming at the sight of his Slytherin friend, the boy stopped walking just as she caught up with him. "Caroline!" But before he could give her a proper greeting, the girl was taking his cotton candy and leading him over to an empty table. Still moving rather slowly, Brae followed her lead and then proceeded to dump his pile of food on the tabletop. "Hey," he said to the blonde, sitting down opposite her at the table with one of his goofy, lopsided grins. Why did it feel like it had been so long since he'd last seen her?

"Aren't you getting any food?" he asked, raising a bushy eyebrow at her. 'Cause if she was hungry, he was more than willing to share. That's what friends are for, isn't it?
