Hey!
So I was wondering if anyone got into Pottermore early? I went to the website at 12:00 London time and have been refreshing it ever since( I left the night open completely devoted to this haha) So far its just the same old " submit your email" page. Ok so let me know if you know anything! Oh and is there another thread similar to this that I dont know about???

Well, most people I know who are talking about it seem to have gotten the idea that it will be opening at 11:00AM GMT, just like the Hogwarts Express (and the original announcement for Pottermore). This may not be true, though... as far as I can tell, no one really knows when it's going to open. I've been doing the same as you and just refreshing... looks like an all-nighter for me  |

In the help section on the Pottermore website it says that even if you create an account by getting to the quill you wont be able to access the "game" right away... most likely a few weeks later until they email you.... I'm going to see if the site will let me access it again and then I will C/P.

Hmmm...I'm still confused about the time zones. It's midnight in my area right now (which would be 8:00 GMT, I think?), and I keep refreshing the page. However, it still says "Day 1 Registration is now closed."
Is there a set pattern for releasing the clues at a certain time each day or will they all be released at random times?

I got in this morning, just waiting on the welcome mail now
I think there's a limited number of people to register per day, which is why they close so quick.
As for times, I have no idea, I don't understand the whole timezone thing. But I went on at like 11 British time this morning. GMT+1 or something. So I figure if you log on early for GMT+1 you might be successful?

Even though the times were only an hour apart, I don't think it's going to go that way every day. If that's the case I know a couple of people here in the US who might sleep through it every day 
What I did, since I have work the next few days and KNEW it would be hard to catch it again, was I just checked every hour on the hour after it turned over to August 1st in GMT (so around 6 pm my time).
Then I followed @hp_batsignal on Twitter and had their tweets sent to my phone. They only tweet when the clue has been released, and then tweet again to help out anyone who is stuck, so I wasn't getting a million and one text messages. I basically woke up every hour (set my alarm and sacrificed some sleep lol) to make sure I didn't have a text from them. Finally around 4 o'clock AM I got the tweet saying "LIGHTNING HAS STRUCK" so I hopped on my computer right away and was able to get registered
