After the death of Albus Dumbledore we saw Severus Snape go away with his fellow Death Eaters. Where did he go? Did he go back to Spinners End? And what is he doing now? He cant come back as a teacher so what will he do now?

If spinners end was Snapes home Im sure the Order would have it staked out on the slight chance snape would return. But it seemed to me it was more of a safe house than a home. Bella mentions that in her opinion no wizard may ever have been to the area let alone to the house when she and narcissa visit him. As to where snape is now? I'd think his first stop would be wherever Voldy's HQ is, something JRK has failed to mention so far. It couldn't be the old Riddle house could it? Seems too likely as he could have used the imperius curse to force anyone to give him shelter/use of their home. Maybe they are staying at the new MOM's home and he is under the imperio curse, a reason why he keeps trying to find out where Harry & DD were going during the past year?

I think he will go back to Voldemort....He may not though because Draco was supposed to kill Dumbledor not him, so Voldy might not like that.....but i dont think he would complain much because with Dumbledor out of the way who knows what Voldy will do...

Snap will never dare to return to Hogwarts. He will go with Wormtail to Voldemort. Draco will return to his mother. Voldemort will be angry with Draco but I think he will be so pleased with Snap. He will trust him more and more. Bella won't love that, i suppose.
Until now there are different opinions about Snap being good or bad so What he will do is he will join Voldemort and help him if he is really bad or he will join him and play a secert role form the OOTP. Who knows??

I believe he is doing whatever Dumbledore told him to do when it was all over and he is wherever Dumbledore told him to go.

And that is most likely biding his time. I think he will be setting a lot of things in motion behind the scenes in the final book.

I've thought about this a lot, and have come up with two things.

If he is truely on Voldie's side, he will return to him, but in no way will he be as trusted as he was before, because of the whole Draco/Dumbledore thing. I think that he may even be serverely punished, but not killed.

If he really isn't on Voldie's side, but instead still with the Order, then I think that like Sirius, he will have to go into hiding until the final battle.

There is no way he would dare go back to Hogwarts, whatever side he is on. It is far too risky for him.

I think Snape ran away to Voldemort and said that he killed Dumbledore and Voldemort will be so bamboozled that now he can kill harry, He could care less who killed Dumbledore. But I've read all sorts of books where Dragon Milk brings someone back to life. Maybe old Dumbledore will come back. But, you know, Hermy could have used her time turner to swich back time and not let Dumbledore die. But noooooo, Always ends sad.

well, there isnt anymore time turners exsisting, remember in OotP, they all got destroyed. Plus, u cant revive the dead,
but what if dd isn dead, just hit by a weak avada kedavra

I think Snape knows that Harry will come after him... but i also dont think DD knew about Spinners End so he may go hack there and re group he did someting i dont think he wanted to do in HBP! he needs to pull his strength together and decide if he is still going to spy on Voldemort but then who will he report to? the order all think he is a bad guy and a Death Eater!

Snape's probably getting his **** kick by Voldy cos he did what's supposed to be Draco's job. Just as long as he shows himself to Harry in the end is enough for me.

Didn't the description of the house in Spinners End chapter mention that it looked as though no one had lived there? And things were all dusty. I believe Spinners End is either Snapes childhood home that is now abandoned and perhaps Snape only stays there during the summer months (I believe Snape probably lives most of the time at Hogwarts as does Professor Trewlawney). Or, Snape only took Wormtail there to live - possibly under orders from Dumbledore to keep an eye on Wormtail (because of the fact that Wormtail owes Harry a life debt). So my point being - I think Snape could go back to Spinners End to live (keeping an eye on Wormtail) - it's probably not known among the order members. Probably Dumbledore knew about it, but he's dead now.

Maybe Snape had agreed to help Draco go and hide as Dumbledore offered to Draco on the tower. Maybe Snape will go and hide with Draco and Narcissa. I think Voldemort asked Draco to kill Dumbledore in part because he wanted Draco to die as well, so he won't be happy that Snape circumvented his orders and did it himself.

Snape could probably ingratiate himself to Voldemort again though - I think he's a master at that. Look at how well he was at deception to Narcissa and Bellatrix in the Spinners End chapter. The whole scene reminds me of a undercover cop getting in good with the bad guys - pretending he knows more than he knows in order to gain information, and having to agree to do something awful in order to "prove" he's really bad.

I think hes gone to Voldemort to carry out DD's plan on information on the rest of the Horcruxes

i hope that is what it is but I got the impression that only DD knew about the Horcruxes and he told harry!

i really hope that snape gets killed by voldemort for forfilling draco's job. He deserves it for all of his "bad deeds"

I don't care who kills Snape, but as long as he's dead, I'll be HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!! Snape was evil and mean and evil and mean!!! And in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry's taking notes and Snape jumps on his case. Snape hated Harry the moment Harry came into excestence. So I think he ran away like a baby because if he stayed and killed everyone else at Hogwarts, he'd be dead too.
