Lupin and Tonks really caught me off guard. I could see the Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione. But Lupin and Tonks, that was on a whole different level. I think it was really sweet for Tonks to finally confess her love to him.

I remembered I was rooting for Harry/Hermione before this book came out. And then when it did, suddenly Ron/Hermione made sense. And when Harry finally has feelings for Ginny, I thought it was that much sweeter. She had always had something for him ever since she was little. And I was thinking it came out to be the "right" couples.

The Lupin/Tonks pairing definitely caught me off guard. But, so did Fleur and Bill

the most adorable romantic scene of DH was lupin and tonks confirming their love for each other.

I reckoned Hermy and Ron would feel for each other in the very first time they shown up. They fought almost all the time but they really cared for each other either.
I remember the scene Harry caught the smell of Love Potion and it reminded him of treacle tart, woody broomstick handle and somehting flowery he thought he might have smelled at the Burrow. He did not know he is smelling Gin though I thought I knew.
The four of them turned out to be sweet and cute

The Hermione and Ron relationship was WONDERFUL

I loved Harry and Ginny the most fave couple! Kiss scene, (Would of been better in common room after Quidditch) shoelace scene, burrow attack,other burrow scenes, quidditch scene, every scene with Harry and Ginny.

Lupin and Tonks Not much of them but i think it was enough and they are a good couple.

I think the romance in the books was too subtle which is why a lot of people missed the Harry/Ginny thing ... that had been going on forever ...

But yes, HBP was the love book ...

Ron was a bit of a prat and Ginny and Harry's break up broke me up ... it made no sense ...

OMG when I found out Harry kissed Ginny I fell out of my chair (literally) and ended up scraping my back on the wooden edge of the leg! I now have the scars of H/G on my back to this day! That's how much i totally love this pairing.

I didnt ever think about them really starting a relationship but it just seemed right when JK wrote it. Made loads of sense in a way, but it was kinda out of the blue.

Honest to god though i didnt see the H/G breaking up coming that day (I cried over that for real for so many hours afterwards) but now that i think about it, it should have been obvious. Yes I absolutely loved HBP (the book) and the romance was totally amazing!

Romance in the sixth? Well I think it's good that she had that in there, without totally making it Gossip Girl at Hogwarts. It's good that they all had other relationships before ending up with who they were (obviously) going to end up.

Still not a big HarryxGinny fan. And I really don't like Hermione. But....

I always thought that harry and hermione would fall in love until this book. I don't know why, but I just did. But ever since I read HBP, I totally see ron/hermione and DEFINITELY harry/ginny. They're all just sooo cute together!
But then again, remus/tonks caught me off gaurd, but not more than bill/fleur. I just thought that was bizarre!

I liked the romance.

I was a in-closet H/G shipper since COS, though in that particular book I shipped her with Tom more than anything. So the H/G in HBP I really loved. However, I felt it came too fast. Out of the blue, Harry developed feelings for her. He was confused on whether it was protective or not, so I suppose it did happen gradually, but I feel Jo maybe should have had a couple more scenes with him and Ginny in, say, the end of OOTP/early HBP to make it seem less quick, but it was still all right in the end. :)

R/H was bound to happen. With the constant bickering, the jealousy, and everything, I knew they had something going on. The Ron/Lavender, while I disliked Lavender, was pretty much just lust and kissing in my point of view, and while it was painful to read as a fellow R/H shipper, it was definitely needed. It made Ron and Hermione both grow up in terms of romance, and made it so in DH, Ron can finally realize what he wants.

Remus and Tonks.. cute. Plain cute. Remus deserves a lot of happiness, and Tonks seems like the kind of girl who could make him that way. Was somewhat sudden, but its easy for me to love all the same.

Draco/Pansy. Adorable as well. :D Knew this one was coming too.

i'm so happy with Hermione/Ron sign..yay!

well,personally i simply loved the hermione-ron-lavender triangle.i'm a huge r/hr love fan and i think that j.k.rowling used the whole story with lavender to point out the mutual feelings of the other two...it was absolutely heart-breaking watching hermione suffer like this, but it was great fun watching ron being jealous and so selfish that he couldn't admit his real feelings...moreover,i think it was nice that j.k. gave ron a relationship before having him realise how he felt about hermione,because that way he was sure and he wasn't interior to the others(hermione-victor,harry-cho,ginny-dean).i adored this "game" being the two(which includes using lavender and cormac)because that's what two ordinary teenagers would go through and it shows that wizard or not, the game of love is always played in the same way....

I love the Remus/Tonks get together. Remus is one of my fave male characters and Tonks is such a girl next door personality, they are great together.

Bill/Fleur was a surprise. I cheered and yelled aloud " You go girl!" when Fleur stood up to Molly concering her love for Bill and her commitment to marry him.

I have to say the cannon ships. Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny. Everyone knew, although some did not like it, that Ron and Hermione were going to end up together. Some hoped that they would not, but it was obvious. When JKR says continually in interviews that they had a soft spot for each other and supporters of other ships need to go back and re-read that had to tip people off. It is a heavy dispute so I will not cause any trouble, but when the author says it how can you argue?

I loved the triangle that was apparent because it was the most unnatural triangle ever. Ron was not confused, he knew he liked Hermione from the beginning of his first day of sixth year. He was acting out of anger that the girl he liked would have more experience than him. I think it was a "man" thing. He needed to be the more manly one in the experience and if he had no idea what he was doing he would have felt subordinate, which with Hermione already is hard not to. Also the more obvious route was he was jealous.

Poor Lavender, she did wear on my nerves, was used as a dirty rag. She was used over and over again and could do nothing to stop it. I mean I feel bad in the way that she was treated, but she was crazy so I don't feel that terrible. Plus she was really terrible to Hermione so JKR makes her easy to hate... just saying.

As for Harry and Ginny I called that in book one. When he sees her on the platform he uses very beautiful and endearing words to describe her. However, every other female in the book is described quite harshly. So I knew then something was up and that I could see a potential when they were older. And in book two I knew. JKR had Ginny go through being tortured day after day by Riddle. Harry did not deal with him directly everyday, but his struggle was present everyday in every Harry Potter book with Voldermort. Ginny understood what he went through so she was perfect for him.

Also when she grows she becomes bold and brassy. I think Harry is somewhat reserved and needed someone with some fiery. Besides Ginny is pretty awesome.

I love ron and hermione the most. All though I think that hermione should grow up a bit and stop being so jealous of any girl that comes within two meters of Ron. Also, who cares about Madame pince and filch? They're not important (Sorry I know that sounds really snotty, but I'm just saying, both of those characters are not very nice and they're not really the main shippers). But Ron is really upfront in this book, and really try's to express his love to hermione (apart from the whole lavender thing) but she's not really seeing it.

i love all the scenes for harry and ginny although harry's feelings are a biy random. anyways i love them but it's sad how they break up but at least she understood why.

Haha Ron and lavender made me giggle. I mean, I think lavender was truly in love with ron, and hermione kept getting in the way. But Ron and hermione will always be the true shippers.

I wasn't too keen on Ron and Hermione. I mean yeah, they do make a good couple, but I don't like the way it happened. Like many people have said, they're constantly yelling at each other and becoming jealous of their significant others, but then suddenly they're in love with really no explanation.
But I do like the Harry/Ginny matchup. I don't think his feelings are random or sudden at all. There were moments in previous books where Harry notices her, such as mentioning how she can finally talk around him.

And they do have many things in common. First, Quidditch. Ron and Harry tell Hermione a few times that she doesn't grasp the competition, so naturally if Ginny plays Quidditch he'll definitely appreciate that. Then there is the fact that she is a bit of a troublemaker. I remember the part in OotP where she meets him in the library and says something about not being the sister of Fred and George and not learning a few things.

So I was perfectly fine with the progression of Harry's feelings toward her, falling fast into it once he started. And I did rather like the kiss between them.

Couldn't have said it better myself. But with a little bit more of hate toward Ronald for ridiculizing Hermione, and I loved the "plunger" ref. when Hermione says she and Cormac are going together to the party.

A lot of people are saying that Harry started liking Ginny out of nowhere, but he had been so used to her liking him that when he thought she stopped he realized he liked her in return.
