Chapter 22, if I'm not mistaken. "After The Burial" when Harry goes down to see Argog burried. It was so obvious. They were all like, "Thanks for these..." and Slughorn tried to impress her with his knowledge of plants.

I never hated H/Hr, I just never thought it could work, and I understood that if you went looking for it, you could find anything. Trust me, I have a few ships that...well c'mon they're friends if they do that it's just as friends if you want to look at it like that then yes...but that's neither here nor there *winks at Shan-Shan* whenever she gets here.

I just read the post at harryloveshermione.com, and I have to say that she is being rather over-reactive. I mean, so Emerson and Melissa are happy, the H/Hr have a good box of insults themselves. It was only a few weeks ago that I was being called things a great lot worse then 'Delusional' right here on Snitch Seeker. And before the release of PoA the movie, I remember recieving some rather... er... colourful spam mail about how that movie would "shake me to my vile H/G core". And that was about the nicest thing said.

Though seriously, JK was not insulting them, she values them as readers. She had made it clear months before HBP was released that she finds the shipping world very daunting, calling all shippers "scary". And did they care? No. It's just now that they have lost their ship. Had H/G not happened (which I was preparing myself for, very much so) I don't think I would have run away. Call me a liar if you want, but I honestly can't not be proud of JK Rowling, she has tricked me too many times when reading her books, I did think Snape stole the stone, I did think Percy opened the chamber and I did think Sirius was a mass-murderer. So, had she squashed H/G would I denounce my love of the books? Nah, don't think I would, because I found interest in the series long before I was a ship-maniac. It's interesting who runs away when given a chance.
But to all those H/Hr's who have stay loyal, good on you! Harry and Hermione are great friends and Dan and Emma to have beautiful chemistry together. And, I have to admit, you did stump me on one or two occasions, I just merrily skipped over those points in my replies.

I'm not good at this romance stuff ...no wait...I'm terrible at it and I never really "ship" anybody. Yet, I feel a bit awkward how JKR described Harry & Ginny. I never thought Ginny would actually be the kind of person she was in HBP. Not that I'm disapproving or anything becuse I very much want to become like her, considering I'm facing the most 'emotionally and academically difficult time' of my life so far. But still, I feel the change was sudden,yet welcome. Harry, thank goodness was open enough this time.

Ginny was portrayed so 'perfectly' in HBP not because she is, but because that is how Harry saw her. She's always been fiesty, she has always been good at Quidditch and she has always been a caring person. It's just that Harry saw her in this way because he was inlove, which did distaught his view of her slightly. As the quote goes, "No one is perfect, until you fall inlove with them". She is far from perfect, growing up with Ron she is a tad tactless, you don't tell someone that their crush has kissed someone else, no matter how mad you are. I think she was the way she was because Harry saw her that way, and we see her through his eyes.

Are Ron and Hermione dating at the moment? Not officially I don't think. They are there for each other and they do love each other and comfort each other. Just not officially. They know how the other one feels, and as we saw at the end, they are basically going out. As for the first kiss? Well, I think thats when it will start, and we will see every bit of that.

The romance was interesting to read, but I liked it alot more when it was not so out there. But then again, like alot of people said, they are 16 and they're getting older.

Yes, I think it was to do with the fact that they are more aware of the opposite sex now that they are 16...now though Ginny is 15, she's a girl, and girl's mature faster than boys do...which is probably why she chose Dean...he's older and more mature than a boy of her year. Why do you think Hermione had a boyfriend at 14 and it took Ron until 16 to grow up? I don't think it was fanfiction. I think it's very plausible to have romance...it's a part of life.

Also, Harry's "relationship" with Cho was dumb...he was too immature for it...not ready for her. I think that experience helped him grow up as well...which made his feelings for Ginny...the execution, if you will...more successful and enjoyable to watch rather than painful. It was actually painful watching him and Cho. With Ginny...they're both mature and the feelings are there, so it was enjoyable and genuine.

Hermione was my hero in this book...(on the romance bit). She was so unlike herself...she was such a...a...girl in this book! I LOVED IT! Hermione is a girl and so smart, so she's bound to be the most mature. Harry has had no time to be immature really because of everything he's gone through. Yes...them both crying, him holding her, stroking her hair...tears everywhere...though it was cute and I'll always love it no matter how many times I read it, I thought it was incredibly sad. It took a shallow relationship with a prissy, ditzy Lavender and the death of a great man to have Ron mature and really feel comfortable holding Hermione. Even when she was distraught, he found it odd hugging her. But he has grown up, and I think we know what's coming in book 7. As for a wedding...I think you'll have to read fanfiction for that.

I want Harry and Ginny to be together, I love that Tonks and Remus are together, I want Neville and Hermione to be together, and I would say Ron+Luna, but I'm annoyed by Ron and think that he should hook up with Neville's boggart. That post cracked me up. It's not that I don't feel bad for them, but no one gets that 'hurt' over something if they were secretly an R/Hr shipper.
