I agree, he is such a good man that his boggart would be him doing something to put students in harm. He loves those kids (who wouldn't?), and I'm positive that he would never, ever want to do something that would cause them harm!

But after reading DH, can't you say that it was his family he was worried about? Like, his sister and mother? Cause Grindywald and him had a fight, and the sister was killed. The mother was killed earlier. I think his boggart is actually seeing his family die.

I think his biggest fear is when he did to his sister and that happening to someone else

After reading DH, I believe Dumbledore's boggart is him holding the smoking wand that killed his sister.

I agree 100%. Even Harry tells Aberforth that Albus was never free after what happened, and that the potion he drank made him relive that terrible moment. Dumbledore's biggest fear is reliving that one moment when his sister was killed, and believing it was him who cast the spell that did it. We can go broader and say Dumbledore feared power in the wrong hands since he experienced first hand what happened. But still, a boggart takes a specific form, so it seems like it has to be him holding the wand over his dead sister.

I agree with most on here, saying it would be somebody being tortured, or somebody's dead body. But, I'm going to throw a curve ball and come completely out of left field with this.

It might be Hagrid going behind his back, you know how Dumbledore said, "I would trust Hagrid with my life."

Maybe it could also be Harry Turning evil, because dumbledore doesn't want that, (I mean who does?) that's why dumbledore doesn't tell him about the hallows.

After reading DH, it's not so much of a boggart when he drank the potion, but a vision of Grindelwald firing curses at his siblings Ariana and Aberforth. Could a boggart turn itself into a scene like it, instead of an object?

I think that Dumdledore's boggart would be something showing harm to either his students or his family. I'm not going to delve into the family part as this could possibly turn into a spoiler for some people.

But yeah, it would definitely be something showing harm to his loved ones.

well it would have to be something a boggart can turn into and i dont think it could turn into all the kids at hogwarts dead. i think it would be maybe harry dead just like Mrs Weasley.

I don't agree. I think his Boggart would be him causing Ariana's death. This haunted him for the rest of his life, as said in DH, and he was so worried he had hurt her. Or his brother. Although, he would be afraid of putting his students in danger...

Yeah, as a lot of people have said, I think Dumbledore's boggart would be him seeing himself killing Ariana, after all, that's what he saw when he drank the potion in the lake in HBP
