Default Dumbledore and Harrys meetings - were they enough?

Do you think that Dumbledore gave harry enough information? Because he already new about the sword being able to destroy horcruxes and he knew that Voldemort would be going after his wand. And do you think he should of told harry what snape was doing?

I don't think so. I mean, if you have read DH, then you will know that dumbledore left the sword to Harry in his will, but the ministry would not allow him to have it. But surely, due to high use of intelligence, wouldn't he know that they wouldn't allow him to have the sword.

I don't think Dumbledore told him enough.
He should have at least told Harry how he destroyed Marvolo's ring and how he could destroy the other ones.
One thing he did do right though was tell Harry to only confide in Ron and Hermione. It would have been for lack of a better word, horrible if Voldemort somehow found out what was going on.

Yes, of course he told him enough. Harry won the fight against Voldemort by playing to his own strengths. Everything seemed to have worked out how Dumbledore planned it, so I feel safe in saying that Dumbledore told Harry only what he needed to know.

However, he probably should have confided more in Harry about his past. Maybe not everything that happened with Grindewald and his family, but at least that they had both lost loved ones in Godric's Hollow.

A part of me does wish that Dumbledore showed Harry some super powerful magic though, but it turned out to be unnecessary.

No I thought that dumbledore should have told them how to destroy a horcrux instead of leaving them to find out for themselves. Because then they would have probably destroyed them faster. And what was the point of trying to leave him the sword of gryffindor of he knew that they wouldn't be able to posess it.

I think Dumbledore should have told Harry more; it would have saved Harry a lot of turmoil that he didn't need.

What's the fun in that? Turmoil and conflict are what drives the book in the first place. If Dumbledore had just told Harry everything, Deathly Hallows would have been much, much shorter. Sure, we can say after the fact that it would have been easier to do this or that, but we read these books for the drama (drama in the general, Aristotelian way, not the genre necessarily).
